Happy Friday everyone!  WoooHooo it is Friday!  I know that most of you are excited about having a three day weekend!

I am feeling pretty good.  I had a fun, lazy day with Mike yesterday who takes such good care of me.  He is so sweet and will do anything for me.  We even got out of the house yesterday for a while.  So needed to do that!

I am thanking God for such great anti-nausea drugs!  Wow!  It really has gone so much better for me this time around.  I also am thanking Him that I still have my hair.  No it hasn't fallen out or even start to thin.  It has stopped growing since I started chemo, but that is okay as long as I can keep what I have.  That is important to me, so thanks for praying for it. 

I know that God does not give us more then we can handle and that He doesn't even have to show us the reason why we are going through things.  But I have been shown so many wonderful blessings and miracles through out this whole journey.  I could write a book!  So thank you for praying daily....the miracles abd blessings just continue to flow......and not just for me, for so MANY others!

Kimberly Phillips.....I heard it was your birthday yesterday.....so Happy Birthday!!  Happy birthday to Josh Landon too!

Good morning!  What a day yesterday.  I am so happy to be done with everything though.  Now it is just a waiting game until I go see all of the Drs. on Monday.  Your  prayers were so working.....I made it through yesterday with no anxiety, felt strong, the time seem to have passed by fast once I was hooked up to the IV and to be able to get squeezed in to do the MRI yesterday too was the icing on the cake!  Thank you all so very much!  Thank you Pioneers Memorial Hospital!  I also want to thank my two wonderful nurses at the cancer center who treat me like a queen.....George and Sal.  You both rock!  God couldn't of given me better nurses there then you both.

5 DONE!!!!!  Only 1 more to go!!!  Last one will be Wednesday morning.  WoooooHooooo!  Please continue to pray for me especially on Monday when I see all the Drs.  That they have nothing but great things to say to me.  Thanks for your encouragement.  What a blessing you all have been to me!

UPDATE: 2:30....Leslie is home after a very long day for her.  They did have to start the IV twice on her this morning for the chemo.  So we decided that since they got the IV in this morning that we should call the hospital and see if they can squeeze her in today for the MRI so she would not have to go through this tomorrow.  God was with us and they said yes!  After the chemo treatment was done, off we went to the hospital and now her MRI is done too.  She is thrilled to not have to go in again tomorrow and go through the IV mess again.  She was strong and calm through everything.  Thank you for your prayers.  God is good and has been with us every step of the way.  Leslie is resting right now and just going to take it easy for the rest of the day.  She said to say thank you for your prayers and sweet comments.  God is Good!

Good morning!  My chemo appointment is at 9:00 this morning.  Thanks for praying!!  Pray the time passes by fast and that it doesn't hurt.  This is #5 out of 6 so I am almost done.  I couldn't of gotten through this whole thing without all of you.  Thanks for being my cheerleaders!  When we get back home Mike will update the blog again and tell you how everything went.  I can do this......I know I can.....and I will.  Again I know I will feel your prayers and remember your encouraging words to me.  God will be holding my hand.  Love you all.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mickey Dale!!

Good morning everyone!  I just want to say how thankful and grateful I am to all of my family, friends, co-workers and community  for all of the love and encouragement you give to me and my family each day!!  For taking the time to go the extra mile for us.

I am so thankful and grateful for your support and prayers for me and my family!!  We are so blessed to be prayed for by so many.

I am so thankful and grateful that I have good Drs. and nurses and that there are some great medicines out there to help fight this awful disease.

I am so grateful and thankful for all of the miracles I have seen and the blessings I have received throughout this journey.  It has been incredible!   God has answered so many of our prayers and continues to.  God continually provides for our family in so many ways.

Tomorrow is Chemo #5 and Thursday is the MRI.  We are praying that the Drs. see miracles there.  I may not know much on that day, but will see all of my Docs this next Monday and will know whats up.  I am also praying that the Dr. doesn't decide to do another round of chemo.  That would be too hard.

I am trying to stay upbeat and positive about these next couple of days.  Just makes the day go better.  Hope you all have an awesome day.  You are in my prayers.

GOD IS THE GOD OF HEALING AND MIRACLES AND HE IS SO GOOD!!

Good morning!  First off today I would like to wish my Father-in-Law Frank Gilbert a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!  He also shares a birthday with a sweet friend of mine Denise Rogers.  So a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY  to you too Denise!!  Hope you both have an awesome day!

Yes I know......my Chargers lost.  I was bummed.  Congrats to the Steelers fans.  I am really just thrilled that we made it as far as we did.  I'll let you know who I am going for in the super bowl when it gets closer.

Yesterday was a good day.  My legs are still holding up and seem to be improving each day.  Last night my daughter and I and a bunch of girls went to the movies and saw Bride Wars.  It was a cute movie and I was happy to be at the movies!  Now that my legs are improving it is so nice to be able to get out more!

Prayer requests for this week....Wednesday is chemo #5 out of 6 and Thursday is the MRI.  Both require IV's.  Need prayers for strong veins and to be mentally ready again to do all of this.  I need prayers for strength.  Thank you very much and for the constant encouragement.  It means a lot!  I am faithfully praying for you all too.

Thanks to Kristi Pacheco for bringing by the delicious strawberry lemonade pie.  It is so good!  It was great seeing you too!
