A Day in the Life of Lola

Good morning!  Thought we would put up a few more pics of Lola.  This is about all she does all day long.  She is so sweet.  She is like having a cat.....she loves to lay around all day and will cuddle with you in a heartbeat.  I guess someday I should put some family pics up.....you know like my own kids!  Ha!  I will soon.

Well I am mentally preparing myself this morning to go in at 11:30.  I am feeling pretty good about it.  I know I will be fine and that they will take great care of me.  Mike will come on later this afternoon/early evening with an update.  Thank you for your prayers for strength.  Mike and I both are feeling them.

Thank you Terrie Olstowski for bringing out the cookies yesterday!  They were so good!  Have a super day today everyone and keep a smile on!

Good morning everyone!  I am feeling much better now.  I will always have these side effect issues to deal with, it is just that some days will be harder then others.  This morning I woke up and thanked God for the many blessings in my life even when my days are so hard.  I am grateful that He has gotten me this far.  I know that God will continue to hold my hand and see me through this till I am done with these treatments and then some.  I am trying hard to learn to take it one day at a time instead of wanting July to be here now.  Each day is a gift.....and I want to treasure it.......and I so appreciate it!

Hope everyone had a wonderful 3 day weekend!  Tomorrow is Chemo treatment number 2.  My appointment is at 11:30.  Thanks for remembering me and for praying!  Some days it is so hard to pray for myself......so I thank God that I have so many that will do it for me on my behalf.   I am faithfully praying for you all though!

Good morning!  Yesterday evening and all night long I haven't been feeling to well.  Some of the side effects from the chemo are kicking in.  Could you please pray for me that the issues will resolve themselves and that I will get to feeling a little bit better soon.  Thank you!  I'll keep you posted.

Good Sunday morning!!  How are you?  We had a super Valentine's Day.  Our dear friends Mickey and Peggy Dale came over and Mike cooked us an awesome candlelit dinner.  It was great!  We had so much fun with Mick and Peg.  We are so blessed to have them as our friends!

How was your day?  How is your weekend going?  We are off to church soon and then Jenna and I will be working on bridal shower stuff.  Hope you all have a relaxing day!

        HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

Good morning everyone!  I am taking this time to tell you a little bit of what my sweet Valentine has been doing for me.  EVERYTHING!  Mike takes care of all of my medicines and gets them in order for me and has them sorted for the several different times of the day that I have to take them. He prays over my meds too....that they will do their job.   He handles all of my Doctor appointments.  He takes me to every single one too.  He has been by my side for each and every treatment that I have received.  He handles the insurance company and all the billing from the many Doctors...etc.....He is up in a flash in the middle of the night if I need anything.  He will stay up late making me things he knows that I can eat and gets it all ready for me the next day if he is working.  He is my number #1 cheerleader and my best friend.  All he wants me to do is concentrate on getting better.  I have been married to this man for 26 years now and I love him even more everyday!    This is just a little insight of what all Mike does for me.  I am truly blessed to have him as my hubby and I adore him.

He has lots of Valentine surprises up his sleeve for me today.  I am looking forward to all the fun he has planned.  Thanks for letting me share just a liitle bit of what the love of my life is like.  Hope you all have a wonderful day today too!  Make it fun!

Also I want to wish the other three Valentine's in my life a great day today.....Ryan, Jenna and Jeff!  I love them so much!
