Good Sunday morning!!  Well the rain is gone here and it is back to being sunny again!  My friends Randi and Sharon picked me up yesterday and off to Yuma we went.  I f you don't live around here, Yuma, Arizona is about an hour east of where I live.  We of course went to the Olive Garden for lunch.  All I can say is that their bread sticks are YUMMO!    We then went to a beautiful scrapbook store over there.  The store was full of goodies and the lady who owns the store is just a doll. After a stop or two we made our way back home.  I had a blast!  We laughed and laughed and had the best time!  Thanks Randi and Sharon for a great day!

Today we are headed off to church and then we'll be doing some hanging out with my daughter and son-in-law Jenna and Ryan.  We are taking Lola over to play with their dog Rusty too.  Have a relaxing day!  Hang out and have some fun with family or friends today.  How is everyone's weekend going so far? 

Please keep me in prayer tomorrow as I start the chemo again.  God is Good!!!!

Good morning!  It is a very rainy morning where I live this morning.  I am sitting here with a cup of coffee in my hand just listening to the rain pour down,  Awwww.....that is relaxing!  It is one of those days where you want to put on a big pot of soup or chili.  That might be whats for dinner tonight.  It's still not too late to give us all your wonderful soup recipes!

Well I had a big day planned but not so sure now that it is raining so much.  We will have to see.  I slept great last night and am feeling much better everyday.  The soreness is almost gone.  Thank you all for continually praying for me and for cheerleading me on for next week.  Your encouraging cards and e-mails have been great!

It's Friday!!  Yeeaahh!!  Good morning!  I went to bed late last night so I slept in today.  I slept well and had a great day yesterday.  Mike got me out of the house and we went to the mall so I could walk.  We had lunch  and I bought a wedding gift.  We ran a few errands and by the time we got home I felt great!  Tired but great!  I had cabin fever bad!  Today I am kind of laying low because I want to do a lot tomorrow.  My soreness is getting better everyday.

What are your plans for this fabulous Friday and weekend?  Oh yeah....for a lot of you it is a 3 day weekend.....wooohooo!  My chemo medicines have been delivered and I am to start everything again on Monday.  It is another 6 week run.  I will be doing my IV chemo on Wednesday.  It will be so much easier now that I have the port.  Please keep me in prayer as I begin this next 6 week session.  I am not looking forward to it and really don't want to do it.....but I will.  I need prayers for strength and peace.  I can do all of this! 

I want to wish my brother-in-law Greg a very Happy Birthday today!

Good Morning!  Here is another picture of my dog Lola.  She has her hawaiian lei on and is dreaming of being in Hawaii. :)  I have a funny story to tell about her.  She didn't seem to be understanding simple commands that we were giving her.  It's not that she didn't want to do them......she just wasn't getting it.  Then last night it dawned on Mike that she might know spanish (since the pound didn't know much on her background).  So he gave her the commands in spanish and wouldn't you know it.....she understood!  So Lola and I had a little talk and I told her that I didn't know a lot of spanish and that she needed to learn english.  So now I am speaking to her in spanglish.  I am giving her the command in english first then spanish then reenforcing it in english again.  Poor dog.....she is so confused!  At least she understands the routine around here now.

I slept much better last night.  I think it was out of exhaustion.  I am not so sore today.  Mike has to work a couple of hours this morning and then he and I are out of here for a while to get me out of the house.  Thanks for praying for me.  Please continue to pray for my friends son.  He is very seriously ill.  Thanks again for all of your prayer requests and especially for keeping me updated on them.  I am praying!!  It brings me joy to know that I can do something while I am going through all of this.

Thank you to my beautiful sister Monica for sending me the gorgeous flowers yesterday!  They are beautiful and really made my day!! I also want to thank my brother Donald for taking such good care of me on Monday!  He is awesome!   Have a wonderful day everyone and smile and try to get a little fun in too!  God is Good!!!!

Good morning!  How is everyone today?  I had a rough night.  I am still so very sore and it makes it hard to sleep.  I am very tired right now.  So I will be laying low again today and will try to get some sleep when I can.  This is hard for me because I am not very good at staying still.  I like to be up and moving and doing something productive.  I am beginning to get cabin fever again too.  Mike is off tomorrow and said he would get me out to do something.  I figure if I lay low one more day I will feel so much better tomorrow.

I have  a prayer request for everyone.  I have a friend whose son really needs our prayers right now for his health.  That is all I can say for now.  But it is very serious.  Will you please continue to pray that my soreness gets better and that I actually get some sleep tonight?  Thanks everyone!  I am praying like crazy too!

I will be posting some new pictures of Lola soon.  She is so sweet and a very good dog.  She melts my heart more everyday.
