Good morning!  Wow.....I am so sore.  I feel like the right side of my chest has been hit by a car.  The Surgeon installed the port on the right side of my chest right above my right breast.  Same place as last time, I just don't remember it hurting so much.   They gave me painkillers to take but I never do well with those (makes me really sick) so I just stick to Tylenol and Aleve. So I am going to lay low for another day and hopefully by tomorrow it will be much better.  They completely knocked me out this time but everything went according to schedule.  I was at the hospital at 6:00....in surgery at 8:00 and out of recovery by 10:30.  I pretty much slept the rest of the day.  Oh and they did get the IV in on the first stick!!

Lola the dog is doing great!  We have not had any problems with her.  Just a real sweet dog.  As soon as she saw me yesterday she was right by my side and never left it.  I am so blessed that I got her.

Congratulations to my Steeler friends on the Super Bowl win.  It was a good game and Arizona gave you a good run.  They almost did it!  Oh the food was so good at the party we were at.  I ate enough for a week!

It's 10:30, Leslie's surgery is all done and she's on her way back home.  Dr Hahm said everything went well, there seem to be no complications and Leslie doesn't remember any of it (that's a good thing).  Leslie's brother Donald is taking her home and will stay with her most of the day, she'll probably just sleep the day away.

Good Morning!!  I can't believe that it is February already!  What a great way to kick it off with a super bowl game.  I hope it is a good game today!  We are looking forward to going to our friends Cheryl and Lonnie's for some fun!

Tomorrow is the day to have my port put in.  The hospital called and changed the time.  It is now that I have to be there at 6:00 a.m. and surgery will be at 8:00 a.m.  I could sure use your prayers for my nerves and that everything will go great.  That they get the IV in on the first try and that the surgery goes smooth.  We won't be posting again until tomorrow after the surgery.  I am ready to do this!  I know it is the best thing for me.

Have a super fun day today!  Can't wait to hear your super bowl stories!  But you have to tell me.....what do you have to eat at every super bowl game?  It is a hard choice for me to choose just one.  I have to have ribs and chips and dip.  But it is all good!
