Good morning!!  It is another 3 day weekend for me so you know what that means.....yep......I am off from work and I have my sweet little Tyler Michael  with me for the day!!  Looking forward to playing with him all day!

I had a wonderful Valentine's Day yesterday.  Mike did spoil me.  We also had delicious chinese food for dinner with the family last night.  It was a very fun and relaxing weekend.

Sorry that this is so short today but my little goobie is already here and I need to go pay my full attention to him.  Have a marvelous Monday everyone!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!  Thank you God for a beautiful day!

So what did everyone have for Valentine's dinner last night??  Did you go out to eat??

Good morning!!!  Wow....what a day I had yesterday!  All morning at school was filled with Valentine's fun.  The kids were so excited to hand out their Valentine cards and goodies to the other students and their teachers.  I received some of the nicest gifts from not only the students but from my co-workers too.  Soooo many people to thank so I will put one BIG "THANK YOU" on here and tell you all that you made my day!  It is so fun to work at a place that loves to get into the holiday spirit!

But the fun wasn't over just yet.  We had our Olympic opening ceremonies Canadian dinner last night too.  The food turned out great!  We all liked everything!  My brother-in-law Bryan surprised me and  brought me flowers and the biggest chocolate covered strawberries you have ever seen.  Thanks Bryan. 

Tyler brought me a Valentine card that he made with his babysitter.  Oh it is so cute and sweet!  It even has his little hand print on it.  I will have to take a picture and show you later.  It melted my heart.

Tomorrow is Valentines Day.......but it is also Chinese New Year......and yep......we always celebrate that too.  So we are combining both and cooking a big Chinese dinner on Sunday night and having the family over for some more food and fun.  We will have a combo of Chinese/Valentines table settings. LOL  :)  But seriously.....we love to cook and our family loves to be together so we celebrate and have a good time every chance we get!

I won't be blogging tomorrow so I want to wish you all a very "HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!"  Mike.....you were my Valentine 29 years ago when we first started dating and I feel like we celebrate Valentine's everyday of the year!  I love you so much!!  You are still and always will be the man of my dreams!

Also I want to wish two sweet friends of mine a very "Happy Birthday" tomorrow.  Araceli Miranda and Annette Bermudez.  Have a super fun day girls!

Good Friday morning!! Is everyone ready for the weekend?? Today is opening ceremonies for the winter Olympics!  Like I have mentioned before our family loves to watch the Olympics.  We are getting together tonight to watch the opening ceremonies and Mike and I are making what we think is Canadian food.  (April Anderson......you would be proud of us).  On the menu......

I will let you know how it all turned out and tastes.  My sister Monica is in Vancouver right now.  So excited that she and Gregg get to go and see the opening ceremonies and stay a few days to watch some of the competitions.

Today we are having a Valentine's party at school.  The kids are excited because they get to hand out Valentine cards and of course because they know they are having a party!  It is going to be a fun and exhausting day for sure.  Looking forward to another 3 day weekend!  WooHoo!

Good morning!!  How is your week going?  I read this last night and just had to share this with you all.  It is from Chicken Soup for the Cancer Survivor's Soul.

As I ate breakfast one morning, I overheard two oncologists conversing.  One complained bitterly, "You know, Bob, I just don't understand it.  We used the same drugs, the same dosage, the same schedule and the same entry criteria.  Yet I got a 22 percent response rate and you got a 74 percent.  That's unheard of for metastatic cancer.  How do you do it?"  His colleague replied, "We're both using Etoposide, Platinum, Oncovin and Hydroxyurea.  You call your EPOH.  I tell my patients I'm giving them HOPE.  As dismal as the statistics are, I emphasize that we have a chance."

Isn't that so cool?  That is exactly how my Dr. McClay was!  He always gave me HOPE and I kept all of my HOPE and faith in the Lord.  I am so thankful for Doctors like that!  It is so amazing to witness what a little HOPE can do for a person.....it can change everything.

The friend who you prayed for yesterday that had surgery is doing good.  Everything went well.  Thank you for praying for her.

Good morning!!  Tyler and I would like to wish my sister-in-law Tammy a very "Happy Birthday" today!  Have a wonderful day Tammy!

If any of you know my son Jeff....he is hilarious!  He makes me laugh ALL the time.  He was such a blessing to have around when I was so sick.  He always picked up my spirits.  He told a story to me last night that had me laughing so hard that I was crying and my stomach hurt.  I just wish that we could all laugh like that several times everyday.  Wouldn't that be awesome?  Just wanted to share that.  I am a biased mom.....but I think he is a great guy!

The latest update that I have from my sister-in-law Lori is that after some tests were run they have found another "suspicious" area in her breast.  It looks like they will be doing a biopsy on more then one area.  I don't know when they are doing the biopsy but it should be soon.  Thank you all for keeping her in your prayers.  I will keep you updated.

Could you all please keep a dear friend of mine in your prayers this morning?  She is having major surgery and I know she would love prayers from you all that everything goes real smooth and that she has a speedy recovery.
