Good morning!  I have to tell you that I had a fabulous day yesterday.  I had the day off from school so I had my grandbaby Tyler with me while Jenna went to work.  While I was feeding him and he was looking into my eyes with love I was thanking God so much for being alive and able to hold, play with, take pictures of, laugh with and take care of my sweet grandbaby.  I cannot begin to tell you what a joy being a grandparent is.  I know all of you that are out there with grandkids already know what I am feeling.  Just want all of you that are not grandparents yet to know that the best is yet to come!  My heart is so full of joy!  God is so good!  I get asked if I will spoil Tyler.......my answer is as much as I possibly can!  :)  Not with things but with lots of love and fun life experiences. Here is another pic of my goobie. 

Thank you all for indulging me!!  I sincerely mean it when I say that each day is a gift.  I also want to say how much fun it is watching your child be a parent.  Jenna and Ryan......you are doing great!

I still have not heard from the Hoag hospital.  They told me to wait about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks.  It will be three weeks on Wednesday.  I should be hearing from them soon.  I am asking for prayers that they got enough cells to make the vaccine.  I am ready to get started on these shots.

Thank you to everyone for all of your continued help with H.O.P.E.  Big and little things are happening daily. We treasure your prayers the most.  Little by little we will get to a point where we can get this project up and running.  We are keeping this simple but there are lots of little things we need to take care of before we can start.  Thanks for the constant encouragement too!

Good morning!!  How was your weekend?  We had a great weekend and one of the things we did was go to the baby dedication at our church and watch Tyler Michael get dedicated.  Here is a picture of Tyler Michael, Jenna and Ryan.  He did really good up there.  He was just chillin and watching everyone in the audience.

Guess who I have with me right now sitting on my lap and helping me to write this????  Yep.....my grandbaby Tyler!!!!  Nanie gets to have him and spoil him all day!  I have my camera all ready to take pictures too. Oh he is such a joy!

We also had so much fun at the Super Bowl party yesterday!  My sympathies to all of the Indianapolis Colts fans out there.  It was a good game.  But I have to admit I was happy to see Drew Brees and the Saints win!  We ate so much food yesterday that I am still full this morning!  Super Bowl food is the best!!

Tyler here wants to say something to all of you.....aaaauuuuuaaaaoooooohhhh.  He is cooing like crazy right now.

Good Saturday morning!!  Woke up to a little bit of rain this morning.  Today is my brother-in-law Greg's birthday!  This is Mike's brother...not Monica's hubby.  "Happy Birthday Greg!"  Have a fun day!

Got a lot of things to take care of today......you know......cleaning, errands, playing with Tyler, working on H.O.P.E. and cooking dinner for my whole family (which I love to do). 

Tomorrow is a big day for our family.  We are having a baby dedication at church tomorrow and Tyler Michael is getting dedicated.  The whole family will be there for this special event.  Of course I will have my camera there taking some pics.  I will share pictures next week.  Ryan and Jenna are having a Super Bowl party at their house tomorrow afternoon.  There will be a ton of food and I can't wait.

We are getting a little more done each day to get H.O.P.E. going.  Two major things that needed to be started are getting worked on now.  We feel like God keeps sending all the right people to the right place at the right time for us.  The stories of this process so far are just incredible.  The ideas......AMAZING!!  Thank you all so much!  We are appreciating the support and prayers!

Good morning!!  It's Friday!!!  WooHoo!  I am ready for the weekend!  I actually get to have a three day weekend.  No school on Monday!  Got a fun and busy weekend planned too.  (Remember......Superbowl??  Oh yeah we are ready for that!)

Thank you all so much for the overwhelming support and volunteering for H.O.P.E.  I had happy tears from all of the e-mails I received yesterday.  We are so encouraged!  I feel like God's blessings are already happening.  If I didn't answer your e-mail yesterday,  I will this weekend.  The ideas are just awesome!!

I have a prayer request for a friend who has had a very hard and stressful week.  She could use your prayers for strength to get through.  Please also pray that the things that are going on right now will get resolved so that she can move on in life.

It is jersey day at school today.  Got my Charger jersey on and am wearing it proud!  Still love my team even though they did awful in the playoffs.

I am taking lots of pics of my Tyler Michael this weekend.  Will have some to share next week.  Nanie Leslie gets to watch him on Monday since I am off and Jen has to work.  WooHoo...I can't wait!

What do you all eat on Superbowl Sunday?????

Good morning!!  We wanted you to know that everything is going along great for project H.O.P.E.  We are waiting for this one thing to come into the mail and we are just about ready to put this whole thing together.  I will take pictures of the process as soon as the stuff comes in.  We are stuck on one thing though and am hoping to remedy that situation in the next couple of days.  It is nothing big......we just want to make sure it is right.

We basically want a card sent with a pocket HOPE symbol put inside the card that the person receiving it can keep in their pockets, purse, wallets etc.....and everytime they see that symbol they will know that someone cares, loves them and is praying for them. (will post a pic of that when we get them)  We have a couple of amazing HOPE verses chosen from the bible to print inside. (we totally want them to put their HOPE into God)  We want it to be personal too so I have had some people volunteer to hand write a note inside too....letting the people know that someone is thinking about them, cares about them, loves them and is praying for them.  We will have a different web site set up that they can go to and leave a prayer request anonymously if they want and I have several prayer warriors that will look daily and pray for these people.

We also want to print out and stick into the cards some real inspiring stories of HOPE too.  Where you all come in is that we need names and their addresses of someone you know that could use a little HOPE and uplifting in their lives right now.  It could be for anything!   I just know that when I was so sick it was such a highlight to receive cards of encouragement and knowing that I had so many people praying for me.  I put all of my HOPE and faith in the Lord to heal me.  We have witnessed so many out there that were alone and had no one to pray for them or give them encouragement.

We know so many of you that live in so many parts of this country and we would like for you to let us know who you know and we will get these cards sent out.  Trying to keep this as simple as possible for right now and would eventually like to make it bigger by doing other things too.  More about that at a later time.

So what do you think???  We are open to constructive criticism.  Do we know how this will go??  No, not really.  But we feel real strong about this project and pray all the time about it.  We want Gods total blessing and direction on it.  So far we feel like it is going in the right direction.  Will probably in the future need donations for postage stamps etc.  We are working on someone to keep track of that for us too.

So much more to say and so many more details. Please wait on those address though until we have this all put together.  Will let you know very soon.  If you have volunteered and I haven't talked to you yet......I will.  Thanks for all of your help everyone!!!  Pray!!
