Good morning!!  How is everyone's week going?  I have a couple more pics to share of my sweet grandbaby Tyler Michael.   Here he is a ham and posing.

My sister Monica called me yesterday to tell me that she and her hubby Gregg are going to the opening ceremonies for the Winter Olympic games in Vancouver Canada!!  I am so excited for them!!  Will have to share pics that she takes when she gets back.  We love watching the Olympics in our family.  In fact every opening ceremonies we get together and cook a BIG Olympic opening cermonies dinner.  It has to also be food from the country they are having the games in.  So we are now looking at Canadian recipes.  It is basically the same stuff as we eat here but there are a few different things that we are going to try.

Jenna and I went to a cooking class last night at our church that our friend Mary Seitz taught.  So fun and we walked away with some "healthy"  and delicious new dinner recipes.  I always learn something about cooking from her that I never knew before. Thanks Mary!  We had a great time and I will be trying those recipes for my family soon. 

Thanks for all of the prayer requests that I received yesterday.  You know that I will be praying!  I will update you all on the ones I asked you to pray for as soon as I hear something.  I still haven't heard from the Hoag Hospital yet.  Should be sometime next week.  We are praying they were able to get enough cells to make the vaccine.

Does your family like to watch the Olympics?  Favorite Winter sport to watch?

Good morning!!!  Here is a picture of my gorgeous daughter and grandson.  She loves Tyler Michael so much.  Tyler did great at the babysitters house.  I think it was harder on Jenna and I then him.  Jenna had a great day back to work and she stayed super busy which made the day go by fast for her.  In case you don't know Mike works at the same hospital as Jenna, so he had her office completely decorated for a big "Welcome Back" for her.  Mike put so many balloons in her office she could hardly walk to her desk!  It was just the perfect thing for her to walk into and have her spirits lifted after having just dropped off Tyler.  Ryan ia such a HUGE help to Jenna in the mornings too to get Jenna and Tyler Michael out of the house in time.

Another sweet thing this babysitter does is take pictures of Tyler with her phone throughout the day and sends them to Jenna.  Isn't that cool?

I have a HUGE prayer request for all of you prayer warriors out there.  My friend Lorri Cavins who was just diagnosed with melanoma cancer and is currently on treatments for that has been told after a PET scan that she has cancer in all her bones too.  Her Dr. is real puzzled by that since it had not shown up in any other test and is having a different test run to see if that is right.  So if you could please pray for Lorri.  Her test is this week and she won't get the results until next Monday.  We are praying for it to not be cancer.  She remains to have a positive attitude but could use our prayers for peace and strength.  The waiting for results is always the hardest thing!  She also has a 14, 12 and 10 year old children.

Also for my friend Teresa Cartwright Gow who is currently undergoing treaments for melanoma cancer.  That she will have the strength to fight hard and beat this ugly disease.

Now you know why it is so important for Mike and I to get this project H.O.P.E. off the ground and running.  We are going to set up a different website for project HOPE so people can come and see who they can send positive encouragement and thoughts to and pray for.  Some people may want to remain anonymous but we will know that that one person that we may not know by name needs prayer too.  Will let you know when all of that gets set up too.

Thanks to everyone who reads this blog.  You have been such an encouragement and strength to Mike and I.  We appreciate you all so much and are thankful for all the blessing this blog brings to everyone.

Well I am off to work in a few.  The kindergarten is going on a field trip to the post office today to mail their Valentine's to their Grandparents and then lunch fun at the park.  Have a great day everyone!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!!

What is in the trunk of your carright now?  For me it is a baby stroller,  blanket, traveling pillow, umbrella, flashlight and probably another few odd and ends.

Good Monday morning!!  Wow.....it is February 1st already!  Besides Mike.....this little guy right here is going to be my Valentine too!  Jenna and I decided to take him to get his first professional pictures taken and Poppi Mike decided to come along too.  Tyler is 3 months old now.  We got there and Tyler did great posing for pictures and smiling.  Then all of a sudden he stopped.......because he was pooping........not just a little.....but an explosion!  (okay you all know what I am talking about)  It was up clear to his neck......why do they always choose the best moments to do that?  By the time we got everything off it was everywhere.  Thank goodness we were gettting ready to change his clothes for another few pictures.  We got him all cleaned up (the lady taking the pictures was so sweet and patient) and put his new clothes on and put him down to take pictures again.  But this time he wasn't having anything to do with it.  He was done.  So we are happy that we got as many pics as we did and they turned out so cute.  Here are a couple to show you.  I will show more this week.

If you could throw up a prayer for Jenna and Tyler this morning that would be great.  Jenna started back to work today and Tyler will be starting with his babysitter today.  She is a sweet lady who will be watching him at her house.  She lives real close to the hospital where Jenna works so that worked out great too.  I think I am having a hard time today too.  We know he is in good hands and that he will be happy.  Just have to get use to a new routine.  I will still see him daily.....just at a different time. Jenna only works till 3:15 so that is nice too.

Project H.O.P.E. is coming along.  I have already ordered some things and Mike and I talked about and worked on our plan in detail.  As soon as the stuff comes that I ordered I will let you know what the next step is.  Please keep praying for God's wisdom and direction in all of this.

We had a great weekend.....just went by too fast!  How was your weekend?  Have a marvelous Monday!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!  Thank you God for peace.
