Good Thursday morning!!  I could almost write a book on God's perfect timing in my life.  The last three years I especially have been a witness to God's perfect timing to some miraculous things.  It has not always been easy to wait on God.  It is super hard sometimes.  I look back and realize that what I was waiting for happened right when it was suppose to.  Not a minute too early or not a minute too late. 

I had another miraculous moment of God's perfect timing on Tuesday afternoon.  I was sitting in Mike's office at the hospital, waiting for the lab results to get back so I could have my brain scan done.  My hand was hurting from the IV and I was near tears when I decided to check my blog.  At 1:21 my friend Denise Rogers who has the awesome gift of making people laugh, left me the funniest comment about her Valentine's Day.  I instantly laughed out loud, the tears that were coming stopped, I forgot for a few minutes about the IV and looked at the time.  It was 1:22.  Coincidence?  Nope.  I see it as God's perfect timing at providing for me just what I needed, when I needed it.  That my friends is an answer to you all keeping me in your prayers.

Sometimes it is just a phone call, e-mail, text, etc....but more times then not.....it came at the perfect time.  Thank you all for sending out cards last week.  I think sometimes it is a life saver to keep someone encouraged.

Can't wait for Tyler to be old enough to start karate.

Prayer requests:  I have prayer requests from two people right now who are having some medical tests done.  They would like the prayer warriors here to pray that the results will come back good.  Also I have a praise report.  A girl we have prayed for in the past named Rylee has been given the "all clear" from her latest cancer check up.  She has been cancer free for 1 year now!!  WooHoo!!  Thank you God!!

Numbers 6 verses 24, 25 & 26:  May the Lord bless and protect you; may the Lord's face radiate with joy because of you; may he be gracious to you, show you his favor, and give you his peace.

3:45 p.m. update...I am home from the brain scan.  IV went in on first try.  Thank you for your faithful prayers for me.  It means a lot!  Love you!

Good Tuesday morning!!  Hello everyone!  What a wonderful 3 days off!  First and foremost I have to do a little bragging on my son Jeff.  He received his black belt in karate on Saturday!  We are so very proud of him!!  Mike and I enjoyed each and every second watching him test.  I know I am his momma, and I am biased, but he is really good!  I was so emotional when I saw him receiving his black belt.  I thanked God so much for letting me be here to witness this moment.

Here is Jeff's Sensei, George Miranda (a dear friend of ours), Jeff and a special guest Sensei who helped with the testing, Juan Carbajal.  I am not sure if everyone knows that Mike is also a black belt in karate and I am a brown belt.  I will post some more pictures of his testing this week.

Valentine's Day yesterday was awesome!  Mike had the day off too and we had our little Valentine Tyler during the day while momma was at work.  We spent part of the day making valentine's for his mommy and daddy.  Tyler was so cute when he gave them to Jenna when she came to pick him up.  Last night we went on a dinner date with our friends Mickey and Peggy Dale, stayed up late and just had the best time.  Mike is the king of romance and he made my day special.  I love him so very much!

Thank you Terrie O. for delivering your famous Valentine cookies yesterday!!  They are the best!  The sweetest part of your visit though was seeing you read a story to Tyler.  Melted my heart.  Thank you for everything!

Valentine's Day is also the anniversary day that Angel Linda and I got connected through chemo angels.  Yesterday was 3 years!!  Can you believe it?  Even though it has been only 3 years, it seems like I have known her all my life. Happy 3rd friendiversary!

Prayer requests:  That my brain scan MRI will go well this afternoon and that they get my vein on the first try for the IV.   I am nervous because my regular nurse is not there today.  Please also pray for these brave people who are either fighting cancer or in remission and need strength...Lori, Lorri, Teresa, Lorenzo, Jose, Susan, Anna, Cova, Karen, Cyndi, Claudia's Dad, Sharon, Betsy, Chris, Allen, Kenny, Maria, Irma, Faustine, Samuel, Father Ruben, Ken, Kristin, Patrick, Becky, Jim, Wayne, Carolyn, Ron, Jeff, Diane, Bill, Lara, Barbara, Kari, Heather, Denise, Cammie and Gary.  Pray they stay encouraged, will be healed and for their families.  Big (((HUGS))) to each one of you.  Need prayers?  Lots of prayer warriors here.  E-mail me at leslie@mgilbert.net

Good Monday morning!!  Blogging really quick this morning, but will be back at it again tomorrow morning.  Hope you all had a great weekend!  I have today off too and enjoying my time off immensely.  I have had a busy and fun weekend. 

Prayer request:  For a beautiful baby girl named Alyson who is 7 weeks old.  She has failed all of her hearing tests that they have been able to do and is seeing a specialist this afternoon.  Please pray that the Drs. will be able to complete the whole hearing test today and find something that can be fixed easily and for peace and strength for her parents.  I will keep you posted.

I would like to wish a very "Happy Birthday" to my friends Annette Bermudez and Araceli Miranda!!!  Hope you both have a fantabulously fun day!!  Let your families spoil you!!
