Good morning!  I don't know how I can thank all of you enough for all the love and encouragement that has been given to get me through this second treatment and for making my birthday very special.  I am so grateful for everyone that is on this journey with me.  Please continue to keep me in your prayers to gain weight and to sleep!  I still feel weak but I am getting a little stronger everyday.  My sister and my mom are taking really good care of me.  Just want you to know what a HUGE blessing my family and friends are to me!  Have a great day!

Mike's Note - Today is Closing Ceremonies for the Birthmonth  :)

I think there's a light at the end of the tunnel!  Leslie had a pretty good afternoon yesterday - Monica even abducted her for a short ride to Jack in the Box for fries, we're hoping to go outside for a short walk today if it will stop raining.  Leslie had a big breakfast of eggs, pancakes, and bacon this morning and it looks like her appetite is returning.

Leslie's mom flew in to San Diego from Indiana last night and will be staying here at Monica's with her for the next week.  I have to go back home to work Monday - Thursday, the will return Friday to pick Leslie up and bring her home!

God is good!

Leslie is getting a little better every day, but still down most of the day.  We will start cutting back on the anti-nausea medications soon, they cause some side-effects too if they are not needed.  Leslie has lost 8 lbs since Monday, pray for her appetite and for the food to settle well.  Also please pray for her emotional strength.

Remember, God is good.

Leslie feels like she's been hit by a Mack truck, but at least no nausea - Halleluja!   She spent most of the day sleeping yesterday because of the fatigue, soreness, and shakiness.  She has been eating and drinking fairly well, not swelling up as much as last time.  The "macktruckitis" will pass... in about 10 days, pray for strength for Leslie.

She got flowers from the Middleton family yesterday- thank you, they were beautiful.  Ginna, we got the album yesterday, Leslie said to tell you it was fantastic and she can't wait to finish it.

God is good!

SO MUCH BETTER!  Thanks to your prayers and lots of medicine, Leslie is doing so much better than she was this time last month.  She's very fatigued and a little nauseated, but nothing that she can't handle.  Other than the alarm clock going off every 3 hours for medication, we both slept pretty well.  Off to the doctor's office this morning for a quick injection to boost her white blood cells then back to Monica's for rest and her gracious hospitality.  I'll keep giving the medicine if you'll keep praying.
