Good morning!  Today I am feeling so much better.  Hopefully I will be able to eat better today too.  I just have to stay on top of those anti-nausea drugs.  I had no Idea that the chemo stayed in my system for so long.  At least this combination of drugs does......YUCK! 

I can't believe that today is also closing ceremonies!  Wow....what a month this has been and I want to thank you all so much for making this such an awesome birthday!  I had a blast!  I am so blessed by your love and generosity!  Thanks  again! 

Well I am not sure what all Mike has planned for today but it is mostly another 'Leslie take it easy day'.  We are going out of town Thursday for a wedding and I want to be ready for that.

My prayer requests are that the nausea stays away and that I am mentally ready to start all of the chemo again on Monday.  It is hard to believe that I am only half way done....but I am looking at this as wow.... I am already half way done!  It just mentally sounds better to me.  :)  Thanks for your continuous prayers for me.  Could you also pray for a friend of mine who is in critical condition?  I'll keep you updated on that.

UPDATE:  The Dr. called and has me on a new schedule with my anti-nausea drugs.  If I stick to it I should be much better tomorrow.  He will call me back tomorrow and see how I am doing.  This is perfectly normal what I am going through.....I just have to be very vigilant on staying on my anti-nausea drugs while I am on my chemo breaks.  I didn't know that before but I do now.  Thanks for keeping me in your prayers!

I am too sick to blog this morning.  Please pray for me.  The nausea continues to get worse and my stomach is to the point where I cannot eat anything. The anti nausea drugs are not working.   I will be calling my oncologist this morning to see what I can do for help.  I have been off of the chemo for a week now and instead of getting better each day I seem to be getting worse.  My stomach is pretty tore up.  I'll try to come back later and update you.

Good Sunday morning!  Here are a couple of pictures of me from my party.  One is showing off the new pearl necklace I got.   The weekend has been pretty good so far.  I did do a little shopping yesterday for some new clothes.  I still can't do anything for very long.  I just get too tired.  I am still also having issues with my stomach.  It really was tore up in my last round of chemo and it still seems to be giving me lots of trouble.  I have been off of the chemo for 1 week now.  I hope and pray that this next week gets better.  When I am home I still rest a lot.  The fatigue is still there.  My prayer request is for less fatigue and my stomach to start feeling better.

Today I plan on going to church and then kick back the rest of the day.  Mike's parents are taking me out to dinner tonight.  We are extremely over joyed about having a new grandbaby coming!  When we find out the sex......which won't be until summer this Nanie (pronounced Nahnee) is going to go crazy buying things!  Yep the grandkids will be calling us Poppi and Nanie.

 WAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I have an announcement to make.....Mike and I are going to be grandparents!!!  Yes that's right.....Jenna is pregnant!!  We are so excited!!  Yes, it was planned too.  That was my opening ceremonies (March 1st)  gift from Jenna and Ryan.  I had to wait 27 days before I could announce it to the world and that was the hardest thing ever for me.  But last night at the family birthday party for me they let me announce it to everyone.  It is the first grandchild on our side and Ryan's side of the family......so we are all estactic!

The blessings just continue to flow and I am so thankful that God is healing me of cancer so I can be around for a while to see and be there for and spoil rotten my grandbaby!  You won't be able to wipe the smile off of my face for a long time.  Her due date is November 2nd.  Oh we are so very excited!!!!!

Thank you Gaynell Irving for the fun visit yesterday and the great gift.  Love it!

Good morning!!  Wow.....what a great day I had yesterday!  It was one fun thing after another.  The party that my friends threw me last night was awesome!  We had the best time.  Sorry I don't have a picture to share.  My camera is acting funny.  But I want to thank them all for everything and for their extreme generosity.  I loved everything!  You made my night girls!  Laughter is the best medicine!

So you see I got a visit from the florists, UPS, FedEx and the mail man.  So fun!  Thank you all so much for the wonderful birthday wishes!  The comments on this blog made my day!  Thanks also for all of the phone calls and cards I received yesterday.  You all know how to make a girl feel loved! (and spoiled).

Tonight is more fun with my family throwing me a big bash tonight.  Can't wait to tell you tomorrow about that.  Some fun stuff and surprises planned for tonight!  So it will be worth your time to check in tomorrow....I promise!  Hopefully I will have a picture too.
