Yay!!  The "Big" day has finally arrived!!  Yep.....It's my Birthday!!!  I am so excited and thankful!  It has been such a fun month!  Tonight a group of my friends are throwing me a party.  I will try to get a group pic and post it tomorrow.  Tomorrow night my family is throwing me a big birthday bash.  I will have lots to tell after that one.  I'll try to get a pic of that too.  Saturday my daughter, sister and sister-in-law are taking me shopping for new clothes.  Sunday my In-laws are taking me to dinner.  Monday another friend of mine is cooking dinner for me.  Tuesday is closing ceremonies.  And Wednesday is April 1st but the only time another couple of my friends can take me out for my birthday.  WOW.....I know......crazy lots of fun stuff.......and I am looking forward to it all!

Thank you everyone for the great birthday cards, flowers and gifts that have come my way already!  What a celebration this has been already and it looks like I am just getting started.  I am so thankful to be chemo free these two weeks so I can enjoy all of this.  Thanks for your prayers for strength!  I am feeling those prayers and I do know how truly blessed I am!

I want to also wish my dear friend Susan Beach a very "Happy Birthday" today too!  Have a super fun day today Susan!

Good morning!!  Here is a picture of my dear friend and co-worker Jessica and two of our kinder students, Alessandra and Kelsey.  Jess took me out last night for some birthday fun and our first stop was to watch Alessandra play in a T-Ball game.  She did great and we had a blast!  She said that she even slid into home plate for me.  These two little girls are so sweet and I miss seeing them everyday so much.  I love watching the kids play in their games!  We then went out to dinner and literally laughed the whole night.  Oh it feels so good to be feeling better again and to get to go out and do some fun things.  Thank you Jess!  You are super!

I want to wish my friend Stacey Barbee a very "Happy Birthday" one day late.  I can't believe I forgot to write that yesterday Stacey.  I hope you had a wonderful day!

Good morning!!  The more time that passes with no chemo the better I feel.  I was even productive yesterday!  It felt so good to be able to do some things around the house.  God bless Mike and Jeff.  They do their best to keep our house clean and I am so appreciative of everything they do but......it's not clean like "I" like it clean.  Part of that is because I am such a clean freak anyways.  Well I have two weeks to shape this house up again and it feels so good to be able to do that.  Who knew I would look forward to house cleaning?

Tonight one of my friends is taking me out for my birthday.  Tell you all about that tomorrow.  But very excited to be going out!

I was asked several times yesterday what my favorite cereal is.  I love frosted mini wheats and honey bunches of oats.  I still haven't had a bowl yet.  My stomach is still a little sensitive.  Maybe tomorrow.  I hope!

Thanks for keeping me in your prayers.  I think my prayer request now is to be mentally ready at the end of these two weeks to be able to start the chemo again.  That will be SUPER hard.

Good morning!  It is Monday so you know what that means.......NO MORE CHEMO for two weeks!   Yay!!!  I am going to try and enjoy each and every minute too.  My stomach hasn't been able to handle anything dairy the last six weeks and I love to eat cereal.  Well I am going to make up for lost time and eats lots of cereal.  I even like eating it for a snack.  I want some ice cream too!  I'll still have to give it a day or two before I start......then there will be no holding me back!  WooHoo.....Can you believe that the big day is almost here???  THURSDAY!!!!!!  My family is throwing me a big bash on Friday night.  Will have lots to tell you all on Saturday!  I also have some fun things going on during the week too.  Looking forward to it all.

Happy Birthday to my friend Terrie Olstowski whose birthday was on Saturday.  I didn't forget it was your birthday Terrie......I just forgot to put it on the blog.  Hope you had a fabulous day!  I'll talk to you when you get back from your trip.

Good Sunday morning!!  I had a great time seeing Mama Mia the play yesterday in Palm Springs.  We laughed, sang with them and were even dancing in the aisles at the end.  It was so fun.  It was a great way to kick off birthday week.  I even felt pretty good most of the day. (Thanks for your prayers)  This is Genelle, Noni, Olga, Cheryl, Margie, me and Patty in front of one of the fountains outside the theater.  Thanks girls for the awesome time!  They  took me out to lunch and  to a french bakery for some awesome french pasteries.
