Good Monday morning!  Today is the big day for me.  I am feeling better this morning.  My first appointment is at 1:15 with my neurosurgeon and getting the results of my brain scan.  My second appointment is at 4:30 with my oncologist and getting the results to my PET scan.  I will let you know how it all went just as soon as I can.  If my sister Monica is available I will have her blog you the news.  If not, I will blog as soon as I get home.  Thank you all for your prayers and tremendous support  and encouragement to me.  I don't know what I have done to deserve it.....but am so incredibly grateful for it!  ((HUGS))

God is so Good!!!

Good Sunday morning!  We are back from Prescott.  While it was a good trip and I am so happy that I got to see my nephew get married, and spend some time with my family,  the trip was too much for me.  I came home yesterday in the late afternoon and have been in bed since.  I am one very tired and nauseated lady.  So today I am staying down because I have to get back into the car tomorrow and go to San Diego for my test results.  Right now I am asking for prayers for strength and that I start to feel better today.

The wedding was beautiful but they did have a couple of memorable things that happened that hopefully they can laugh about 10 years from now.  First my nephew Scott had the stomach flu really bad.  He barely made it through his vows when he had to excuse himself to get sick.  While waiting on him to get back so they could finish the ceremony one of the bridesmaids fainted because she had locked her knees.  So lots of unexpected things happening during the ceremony.  Scott eventually made it back and they finished the ceremony and the bridesmaid is fine.  I just pray that his new wife Audrey doesn't catch the flu on their honeymoon.

Thank you Papa Frank and Grandma Jodi for taking such good care of Lola while we were gone.

Please keep me and my family in your prayers for tomorrow.  We are praying for great results.  Please also keep my anxiety in your prayers too.

Happy Friday the 13th!  I am feeling tired but okay.  Went and had my MRI brain scan done yesterday and all went well.  Now it is just a wait and see until Monday for the results.  I am so glad that part of the week is over!  Now it is time to go somewhere and have some fun.  We are almost ready to head out to Prescott for my nephew's wedding.  I won't be blogging again until Sunday morning.  I want to wish you all a fantabulous weekend!  Take care and thanks for praying for me and my family!

God is Good!!!

Good morning!!  Well I survived Monday's blood work, Tuesday's PET scan, and Wednesday's chemo treatment.  Today I have an MRI brain scan at 4:00.  Then I am done with tests for a while!  YAY!!  Tomorrow we leave for Prescott, Arizona for my nephew Scott's wedding and will be back sometime on Saturday.  I will rest on Sunday and then head to San Diego for the test results on Monday.  While this week hasn't been too fun I had a pleasant week because of "Birthday Month!"  I am looking forward to seeing all of my family at the wedding too.  I have been doing a little packing all week and Mike will help finish that today.

Thank you for your constant encouragement and prayers for me this week.  I sure did need it.  Some days are hard.....really hard. It has been such a long road already and I have so much more to go.   But I have so many things to be thankful for and I am blessed beyond measure.  So even though this has been tough....it has also been an incredible journey.  Thank goodness you all have been going on the journey with me.  I couldn't do this without you.  So thanks......from the bottom of my heart!

UPDATE: 11:15 We are home now.  Everything went smooth today for Leslie.  Her nurse George makes her laugh a lot while she is there and that helps the time to pass by.  Leslie is resting now.  Thank you for praying for her.  God is good!

Good morning!  I am off to have my chemo treatment done this morning.  My appointment is at 8:30.  Please pray that the time passes by fast while I am there.  Mike will update on how it all went when we get home.

I have an appointment time now scheduled with my neurosurgeon and oncologist in San Diego.  Both appointments are on Monday.  I will get test results then.  My oncologist appointment isn't until 4:30 in the afternoon pacific time so I won't be blogging the results until late that evening.  I feel good about both appointments.....that all will be good!  I am feeling those prayers for peace and  no anxiety.

How is the card sending going?  I have heard from so many of you that you sent out not just one card this week but a few.  That is awesome!  If you haven't had a chance to do it yet, it's not to late!  :)
