UPDATE......Hey everyone!  We are back and things went real well.  They did not use the port this morning but were able to find a good vein on the first try.  I don't know any results yet.  My oncologist will let me know when I see him.  We are working on an appointment with him soon.  Whew......I am so happy that this is done and over with.  The staff at the PET scan center were so wonderful!  Tomorrow is my next Chemo treatment (#5)  at 8:30.  Then Thursday is my brain MRI.  Still have a way to go on things this week but you all have been keeping me so encouraged and I want to thank you so much for that!  Take care and have an awesome rest of the day!  (((HUGS)))

We off to Yuma in a few minutes.  Will update the blog this afternoon when we get back.  Thank you for praying.  I am feeling those prayers of strength and peace.  Also I got the results back from my blood work yesterday and my levels are even better then last week!  Yay!  Praise God!    Have a great day!

Good morning!  Hope you and your family had a nice weekend.  Yesterday I was able to spend a lot of time with my family and also rest.  Today I go to the hospital for more blood work.  Tomorrow morning I will be heading to Yuma for my PET scan.  I have to leave the house at 6:00 a.m. so I won't be blogging until we get back from Yuma in the afternoon.  I will let you know how it all went.  Please keep me in prayer not only to get through these tests but for awesome results!  I won't know the results until I see my oncologist sometime next week.  Will you also pray for my anxiety?  Thanks so much!

Happy Sunday Morning!!    Hope you are having a nice weekend.  Mike and I got out for a little bit yesterday.  Not as much as I had hoped.  I just get tired so fast.  Hopefully after church this morning we will get to do a few more things.  Hope everyone remembered to "Spring Forward" and change their clocks.  I love it staying light out later.  I wish they would just keep it this way.

Tomorrow is the start of a busy week for me.  I go to the hospital tomorrow for blood work.  I am having some anxiety towards this week because of all of the tests.  I just need to remember to take it one day at a time.

Hope you have a super day!  We are having grilled steak,  mashed potatos and zucchini  for dinner tonight.  What are you having?

Good morning!  I am still feeling pretty good this morning so I think that Mike and I are going to go and get out of the house for a while today.  Mike has been the one since this all started to keep up with the grocery shopping and errands.  Well I haven't seen the inside of a Target or Wal-Mart in a long time so that will definitely be one of our stops today.  I am also craving mexican food.....so we will have that for lunch out today too.

Can I tell you how wonderful the card challenge has been?  I am truly touched by all of the stories I am hearing and by the cards that I personally have received.  You all keep me so incredibly encouraged.  But I am hearing stories of other people receiving them and that it made their day to know that someone was thinking of them.  Some of you also have sent out more then one card too.  That is awesome! God is blessing you for it!   If you haven't gotten a chance to do this yet......please do.  It is such an easy way to give someone a pick-me-up and to let them know that you care.  Also, if you feel like it, please continue telling me the stories of your cards.  I am loving it!

Good morning!  Happy Friday!!  Well I did it last night........I went to the fair.  Yep....Jenna and Ryan dragged Mike and I out of the house to go.  We had such a great time and I was so thrilled to be out and about!  It was good to see you last night Edna Clary,  Elena Westmoreland and Michelle VanLeeuwen and visit.  And yes.....I had my corn dog and funnel cake.  That was my big adventure for the week.

Will you please keep in prayer this morning my friend Terrie Olstowski's 8 month old granddaughters, Kasey and Cori.  They are having tubes put into their ears.  They live in Texas.
