Happy Saturday morning!!  What is everyone up to this weekend?  I have a very busy weekend planned.  I have lots to do and take care of before we leave next week. 

My schedule looks like this.....on Monday I go to work and then head up to the hospital for my MRI brain scan and blood work.  Then come home and finish packing and then head up to San Diego to stay the night and I am off to Hoag Hospital for testing on Tuesday morning.  Since the hospital needs me back for Thursday, Mike and I have decided to just stay in Long Beach and not come home in between visits.  It was getting too hard and too draining to do all of this back and forth stuff.  So on Wednesday we have lots of FUN things planned to do while we are up there.  FINALLY we have a trip where we will have a chance to do some fun stuff and not be just medical yuck.  On Thursday morning I will be back at Hoag Hosptial for the check up to the tests and then we head home.  Friday is my birthday and my family is throwing me a party.  Next Saturday and Sunday are going to be a whirl wind and then on Monday the 29th I go back to San Diego to see my Neurosurgeon for the results to my brain scan.  Whew........that is going to be a crazy 10 days. 

I am asking for prayers for good results on all of these tests.  Please also pray for me as I go through all of this.  No fun at all.  Some of it is stressful.  For someone who HATES needles, it seems that I get poked all the time and it still has not gotten any easier.

Jeff will be holding down the fort for us while we are gone.  My sister Monica is going to be my guest blogger too.  I will call her and let her know how things went and she will let you all know for me.  She will blog for me on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Since I won't be blogging again until this Monday I want to wish my dear sweet friend Terrie Olstowski a very "Happy Birthday" tomorrow!!!  Have a fantabulous day Terrie!!!  Isn't March the best!!  :)  We still need to plan our night out!

Something that made me smile yesterday was Tyler talking all kinds of gibberish to Nanie.  Loved hearing it!  My co-workers not only make me smile but crack me up all the time too.  What made you smile?

The thing that Mike and I are doing on Wednesday night is going to Medieval Times dinner show.  Have you ever been?  We went to the one in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.  It has been a long time but had a blast at both.  Looking forward to the fun again.

Good morning!!  Woohoo.....it's Friday!!  I either have a cold or allergies going on right now.  Get to see the Dr. this afternoon to give me a check-up and see what's up with me.  Hopefully whatever it is will go away quickly.

I am very excited to tell you about another miracle of answered prayer.  I have been praying for one of my dear friends uncle who was diagnosed with cancer 2 months ago.  It was bad......he had it in several areas of his body.  Two oncologists wrote him off and said make him as comfortable as possible......that he only has two months to live.  But a third oncologist said "no"......he had a plan if my friends uncle was up to it.  Fast forward to two months later......he had a full body PET scan and 90% of his cancer is gone!!!  BIG SMILE HERE!!!!  What an awesome God we have!!  What mighty miracles we see!!  He along with his family held onto HOPE!

This story is what made me smile (and jump for joy).  What made you smile?

Good morning!!  How is your week going?  Thank you again for all of your prayers for me yesterday.  Everything went well.  The mild side effects that I am experiencing are very normal.  This is a walk in the park compared to the side effects I was suffering from chemo!

I am not feeling so well this morning.  I think it is totally unrelated to the vaccine.  I think I have caught a cold again.  The Dr. can't see me until tomorrow though.  I just have to hang in there until then.

Aunt Edith.....we received the book yesterday.  Thank you so much!  It has lots of things for us to do in that area.  We can't wait to sit down and look through it all.  So sweet of you to think of that!

I want to wish my friend Christina Adamek a very "Happy Birthday" today!  I know you are having a super week.  You will have to let me know what you did on your birthday in Hawaii!!

Here are a couple of pics of my sweet little guy.  He had just had a bath and Nanie was playing with him.  In the second pic he put his hands together like he was praying.  So cute.  I say prayers out loud with him all the time.  He usually just looks at me and smiles. 

Something that made me smile yesterday was Mike.  When we got to the hospital yesterday he told me that he needed to leave to take care of something and that he would be right back.  When he came back he was grinning from ear to ear.  He told me that he bought me something for our "29 years together" day.  He was like a kid excited at Christmas.....he couldn't wait till we were done with the appointment so I could go to the car and see what it was.  He bought me a new flash for my camera that I had been wanting.  He is so sweet and thoughtful.  It was an awesome surprise!  Mike always makes me smile and laugh.  What made you smile yesterday or today?

Home again.....home again......jiggety jig!!  Everything went well today.  Again....thank you for your prayers!  Hope everyone is having a FUN St. Patrick's Day!!  Love you all!!

Good morning!!!!  HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!!  I know today isn't St. Patrick's Day.....I just wanted to wish you that a day early because I won't be able to blog tomorrow.  Yep......can you believe that it is time already for me to head out of town for another shot?  Mike and I are headed up to San Diego again to spend the night and then off to Hoag Hospital tomorrow morning.  We will be back home sometime tomorrow evening.  Can't thank you all enough for your prayers.  I think my body is having some issues with the shots now.  I am going to tell them what is going on and see if it is related or not.  I'll update you when I get back.

I also want you all to know that mine and Mike's very first date was on St. Patrick's Day. We have been together for 29 years now!  So this day always hold a special place in my heart.  Best 29 years of my life! 

Did you all have a hard time getting up yesterday morning?  Wow....I absolutley love it being lighter out later but to have the alarm clock go off this morning and it still be dark out was pretty hard.  I wanted to stay in my comfy bed.  The kids at school were all dragging this morning too. I am sure we will adjust with this time change by the end of the week.  :)

H.O.P.E. is still coming along.  We are working on it.  It will take some time to get some things done first before we get going on it.  Please keep the whole project in your prayers.  We are very excited about it!  I am so amazed at how God works and has a master plan for everything.  Lots of wonderful things can come out of really hard and difficult things we go through.  God has taught me much throughout this journey.  I am still learning......and seeing some pretty amazing things.

I wanted to wish my friend Kim Knell a "Happy Birthday" on here yesterday and forgot.  So "Happy Birthday Kim!!!"  Hope you had a wonderful day!  March rules!!

Some things that made me smile yesterday......a super sweet note from a friend,  one of our onry kinder kids hugging me and saying "I love you" and a empty laundry hamper!!  :)
