Good Monday morning!!  How was your weekend??  We had a really nice one.  The wedding reception that we went to on Saturday was great!  The bride and groom looked awesome and very happy.  We had a great time celebrating with friends and family.  The best part was seeing some old family friends that we hadn't seen in years.  So nice to be able to catch up on each others lives.

Here is a picture of Tyler Michael getting stronger and stronger.  In just a couple of months I think he will be crawling.  He is just changing and growing up so fast.  Tyler wants to thank his friend Ethan Cosio for the super cute clothes!

I found out some good news for me this weekend.  Pioneers Hospital (where Mike, Jenna and Mike's two brothers work)  is going to have a PET scan machine available!  I know that sounds weird that I am excited about that, but I am.  That means I don't have to go out of town anymore for my PET scans.....I can do it here!  WooHoo!!  It really is a big deal for me!

Things that made me smile this weekend.......the beautiful day we had on Sunday, answered prayer, rocking Tyler to sleep and talking to a friend who lives in another state on the phone.  What made you smile this weekend???

Have a super week everyone!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!  Thank you God for rest.

Have you ever received a "D" or "F" in High school??  Ever get suspended??  Detention??  Mike has a good story or two to tell you about.  Ha! Ha!

Good Saturday morning!!  Where I live it looks like it is going to be a gorgeous day!  Great day for working out in your yard. I hear the birds singing outside right now as I type this.  The scrapbooking party that I was suppose to go to last night got cancelled.  But that was okay because I had been invited to another party and was able to attend that.  Had a great time!

Today Jenna and I are going to run some errands together and late this afternoon our whole family is going to our friends Jerry Armstrong and Martha Valdez's wedding.  Looking forward to a very fun evening and spending it with some great firends that I haven't seen in a while.

Things that made me smile yesterday.....my son Jeff coming home and asking me if I wanted a ride on his motorcycle.  We had a fun ride!  Also my sweet Mike surprising me with a gift of something that I had wanted for a while. But the best thing was one of the kinder kids saying, "Mrs. Gilbert look!!!"  I looked at her and she was giving me the hand signal for I Love You.  Melted my heart.....absolutely makes your day.  What made you smile today?

Thank you all very much for your prayers.  I have received even more prayer requests and I want you to know that I am praying.  When I can I will put some on here.  Most people are very private about their requests and I totally honor that.  Remember if you are out and about today, try to buy a card and send it to someone to brighten their day.

Have a super weekend everyone!!  Take some time to enjoy your family and do something fun.  Today is another gift from God.......which I am incredibly thankful for........and He is so good!!  Thank you God for a beautiful day!  Oh by the way....Tyler is feeling better.    :)

Anyone working out in their yards today?  Have you planted anything yet?  Do you have a green thumb?

Good morning!!  So glad that it is Friday!!  Tonight I get to go to a scrapbooking party at a friends house. I haven't been to one in a while and am so looking forward to getting some scrapbooking done.  I am working on an album of my son Jeff's trip to Tokyo, Japan.  I probably will talk and visit more then scrap but it will be fun!

I received a lot of prayer requests this week and I want to share a few with all of you prayer warriors.  One is of a friend who is having to go yet a third time around with chemo to fight her cancer.  Another is of a man with a serious illness and is in ICU right now, a woman who is facing major surgery on Monday with an unknown mass and a couple of friends who are really sick with the flu.  Also my little Tyler is still sick.  If you have a moment to lift these people in prayer I would really appreciate it.  Their families need prayers for strength as well.

If you all get a chance this weekend to pick up a 'thinking about you' card or a 'get well card' or an 'encouragement' card will you please get it and send it out?  We all know someone who is struggling right now and it will totally make someone's day.

Something that made me smile yesterday was seeing the signs of spring arriving!  My grass is getting green again.  Now if the leaves on my bushes and trees will come back soon that would be awesome.  I think it is time to plant some flowers now  too.  What made you smile?

I want to share a picture of Goobie all wrapped up in a towel after bath time.  Baby's smell awesome don't they?

Have a fantabulous day everyone!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!  Thank you God for caring so much for us.

Here is a verse that I read last night and wanted to share with you....For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:38,39

What are you doing on this fabulous Friday?

Good morning!!  First off I would like to wish my sister-in-law Mary a very "Happy Birthday" today.  Since I did not blog yesterday morning I need to wish my sister-in-law Lori a very "Happy Birthday" too.   Yesterday was her birthday.  Hope you both have a wonderful day filled with fun!  Here is Tyler wishing you both a Happy Birthday too.  It is getting harder and harder to take birthday sign pics with Tyler.....he likes to grab the papers now and squish them.  Heehee.  We sure have a lot of family birthdays in March!

 B'Day Lori
B'Day Mary
Yesterday at Hoag went really well.  This time they gave me the shot in my thigh.  For some reason they have to rotate the shots on my body.  It looks really good and I feel good.  I am so thankful that I am not having any reactions.

When we were leaving the hospital and Mike was going to get the car and bring it around to pick me up I was just standing outside in the cool breezy overcast/misty day thanking God for the wonderful opportunity to be able to receive this vaccine and praying again that it works for me.  As I was praying (and I hope this doesn't sound corny but it is so true) the clouds opened up briefly and the sun shined down on me and it felt like God was saying to me "I am here and I am listening and I love you."  I felt wrapped up in His loving arms and was so comforted.  Right before Mike pulled up the sun went away again.  I have to say that was one of the most awesomest things that has happened to me.  Couldn't wipe the smile from my face.  What a fantastic moment!  Just had to share that with you all.

The thing that made me smile the most yesterday was seeing a full rainbow in the mountains on the way back home.  We could see the whole thing!  It was great!  What made you smile today?

Have a super day today everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!  Thank you God for miracles!

What are you having for dinner tonight???

Hey everyone......we are back home now.  Everything went well today.  So far so good!  Thank you all for your continued prayers for me.  Could you please throw up a prayer for Tyler.  He seems to have a cold that has settled in his chest.  Have a great rest of the evening!

Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!!
