Good Monday morning!!  How was your weekend?  I have to say that I had a wonderful 3 day weekend!  I had a fantastic birthday with more birthday wishes then I could count.  I had a great time at my birthday party.  Mike cooked up a delicious mexican food dinner for everyone and we ate till we were about to burst.  Mike also made me two cakes.  I went with the yellow cake with brown sugar frosting and the chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.  My family completely spoiled and pampered me and more awesome memories were made.  One of the things that I LOVED this year was that Tyler sat in my lap and helped me open my gifts and also helped to blow the candles out on my cake.  Thank you God for precious moments like this.  I do not take it for granted and am truly grateful.

Tomorrow morning I will not be blogging. Mike and I have to leave home at 6:00 a.m. to be at Dr. McClay's office for a 9:00 a.m. appointment.  This is to get the results to my latest PET scan. With all the birthday fun, I honestly have not thought much about it until now.  Please continue to pray that the results are great and for no spots and that I have a clean scan.  I will blog tomorrow when I get home to update you on the news.  Maybe earlier if my sister can get to it.  We appreciate each and every thought and prayer.

Tyler is also 17 months old today!

Praise God! Good news!  Angel Linda's friend Bill is doing so much better now.  He even made it to her church yesterday and looked great.  Thank you for praying for his health.  He knows it was the prayers that got him through.

Prayer requests:  Please keep little Samuel (3 1/2) in your prayers as he has to go through another rough round of chemo again on Wednesday.  Pray that he gets through it smoothly, that his white counts stay up and for strength.  Also let's keep his parents in our prayers too for strength and to stay encouraged.  May God continue to hold this family in the palm of His hand and hold them close to His heart. 

Psalms 139 verses 1 - 5:  O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.  You know when I sit or stand.  When far away you know my every thought.  You chart the path ahead of me, and tell me where to stop and rest.  Every moment you know where I am.  You know what I am going to say before I even say it.  You both precede and follow me, and place your hand of blessing on my head.

Do you know what today is?  It's my BIRTHDAY!!!!  Hahahaha!  Very excited!!

Good Saturday morning!!  Well the BIG day is finally here and I am looking forward to a super day of fun!  My whole family is coming over this evening for a party and that is the best gift of all.  I feel so blessed to be surrounded by a loving and fun family.  I thank God that I am here to celebrate my 49th birthday with them too.  I am so incredibly thankful!  A huge thank you to everyone who has made my Birth Month a wonderful celebration!

I would also like to wish my friend Susan Beach a very "Happy Birthday" today too!  We share an awesome day don't we Susan?  With lots of great memories!

I want to congratulate Angel Linda on her upcoming ordination as a Care Pastor on Palm Sunday!  That is wonderful Linda!  We are all very happy for your great news!

My prayer request for everyone is that you celebrate each day of your life to the fullest while keeping your eyes focused on God and keeping Him the center of your life.

Good Friday morning!!  I have the day off today from work for my birthday holiday. WooHoo!!!  Tomorrow is the BIG day!  I have a lots and lots of things to do today and am so happy that I have a day to do them.  I am ready to hit the ground running.  Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes and surprises.  Yesterday was full of them.

Wow oh wow.....what an ending on American Idol last night.  I am so happy that the judges used their one save and saved Casey.  I like him.  He isn't my very favorite but I thought he would be there longer.  But because they used their save they will eliminate two people next week.  Can't wait to see what happens.

Prayer requests: To everyone who left prayer requests yesterday on my e-mail I did receive them.  There were a few from people with anonymous prayer requests for our prayer warriors here to pray for...... issues involving their families.   Please know that we are praying and it is a priviledge to do it.  God knows who you are and He cares so much.

Question.........If you could own a non-traditional pet what would it be?  I asked Mike this question and he says that he wants an armadillo.  I asked Jeff too and he said he wants a wolf.  I was thinking a cute little tiger.  :)

Don't let insecurities and past failures steal your confidence.  God says He will never leave you nor forsake you, so you must believe it and act on it.  Whatever you might be facing right now, remember God is able even when you are not.  He loves you and will show himself strong even through your weakness.  So just trust and believe.

Good Thursday morning!  It is just awesome when I see answers to prayer.  I got an eye opening one in the mail yesterday where I was 'high fiving' God.  I see glimpses of answers and miracles all the time and I see how God always has our best interests at heart and how much He loves us.  I 'high five' God all the time.  So if you see me giving a 'high five' into the open air.....you know who I am doing it with.

American Idol last night was good.  Who do you think will be eliminated tonight?  I still love my favorite 6 and would be surprised if any of them were eliminated tonight.  Such amazing competition and individual unique talent.  Wow....going to be hard this year.   Even though there are so many great singers, my way ahead of the ball game guess is Jacob and James will probably be in the top two to see who wins in the end.

Good Wednesday morning!!  How is your week going?  I am having a great and fun week!  My sincere heartfelt continued thanks to everyone for all the birthday wishes and surprises.  I thank God for all of you because you are such a precious gift to me.

Here is a picture of Tyler and Poppi on opposite sides of the sliding glass door putting their mouths on it and yelling "aaahhhhhh"  out loud to each other.  Tyler is going to learn all of his silliness from his Poppi Mike for sure.

Prayer requests:  Please pray for a couple who are working hard on restoring their marriage.  They have asked for prayer for their children during this time too as it has been hard on them.  Continued prayers for those still looking for a job.  Also for a family who is moving to another state soon.  They asked for everyone to pray that the get settled quickly and that it will be a smooth transition for their children.

Mark 12 verses 28 - 31:  One of the teachers of religion who was standing there listening to the discussion realized that Jesus had answered well.  So he asked, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?"  Jesus replied, "The one that says, 'Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only God.  And you must love him with all your heart and soul and mind and strength.'  "The second is:  'You must love others as much as yourself.'  No other commandments are greater than these."
