Good Wednesday morning!!  Just another part of a praise song that I love and wanted to share. 

I wanted to let you know that my full body PET scan is this Saturday morning at 8:30.  I know that you all have been praying for me and I am very, very grateful.  If you will please specifically pray that the 2 spots they are watching will be gone and that I will have a clean scan.  Also that they will be able to get the IV started on the first try.   I want you to know that each and every thought and prayer and words of encouragement means a lot to me and my family.  Even though I have been through all of this for the last few years, it is still hard.  Hard mentally to go and get the tests done.  Hard knowing that I am getting another IV in tired veins and hard waiting for the results.  I still do hard and it is no fun.   But through the hard God does absolutely amazing things that I would of never been able to experience if I didn't have hard.  I have seen miracles because of hard.  Hard shows God's continuous strength through my weakness.  Hard got me on a path in life that I would not go back and change.  Hard has shown me blessings beyond belief.  The joys in my life far outweigh the hard.  And my hard is not that hard compared to what others are going through.  Thank you for praying me through the hard.  God is stretching my faith and I am trusting Him to everything in my life.  I can't imagine taking a step or breath without Him.  My appointment with Dr. McClay is on Tuesday, March 29th at 9:00 in the morning to get the results.

Here he is very proud of himself that he has the ball and Rusty doesn't.  He did this as soon as he saw Rusty coming.  Hilarious!

Prayer requests:  Continued prayers for strength and comfort for the Deen Family.  Also for Angel Linda's friend Bill and his wife.  Bill is still not doing well.  Also keep in your prayers all the families that have recently lost a loved one.  Pray for peace and that they find some joy in the sweet memories of their loved one.  Pray also for wisdom on decisions they have to make in their futures.

Psalms 77 verses 13 & 14:  O God, your ways are holy.  Where is there any other as mighty as you?  You are the God of miracles and wonders!  You still demonstrate your awesome power.

Good Tuesday morning!!  How is everyone doing with the time change?  Like I said yesterday, I love the fact that it is staying lighter out later, but it was sure hard to get up this morning with it being so dark out.  I am slowly adjusting though. It is getting warmer here in the Imperial Valley.  I am not quite ready for the summer heat yet.

I received many prayer requests yesterday from many people who are going through some super hard things right now.  They have asked for strength and are comforted by the fact that they know so many people who read this blog will pray for them even though they do not know them by name.  God knows.  Things get tough on all of us at one time or another and I am so thankful that we have a God who loves us so much and cares about each and every detail in our lives. I don't have any answers on why some awful things happen.  I do know that God wants to hear our prayers and for us to lean on Him.  He is there for us all the time. He is our rock.  Our only HOPE is in the Lord and rest assured He knows our every need. 

Let's remember to think back on all the many things God has already gotten us through and to thank Him for it.  I know God's hand was in every part of the rough times I have had.....especially in the past 3 years.  God does amazing things and we need to constantly share with each other the incredible things He does for us on a daily basis.  Somehow I believe that keeps us all encouraged.  I know I am encouraged by all of you and am so very thankful.

Good Monday morning!!  I love the time change.  I didn't like losing an hour this weekend but I like it staying lighter out later.  I wish they would leave it like this all year long.  How was your weekend?  Mine was great!  On Saturday I was able to stay at home with my hair piled on top of my head, no make-up on, wearing an old t-shirt and shorts and got a lot of things done.  It is so nice to have days like that every once in a while where you can just be a bum.  I also made brownies and Mike and I ate that for dinner.  Pretty cool huh?  I also was able to work outside for a little while.  The days have been warm and perfect for getting everything ready for spring.

Yesterday I met my friend Marga in San Diego to work on the book SPF 150-It's a Sunny Day.  I am sooooo over the top excited about it.  We got some more things accomplished and I am feeling great about the direction it is going.  I will definitely keep you updated on its progress.  Please continue to keep this project in your prayers and thank you for your encouragement.  I can see God leading me down a road that I never thought I would go.  It is a little scary but pretty cool at the same time.

Good Saturday morning!  Oh my goodness.......I did not know about the earthquake in Japan until right before I left for work yesterday and had already posted my blog.  I have been praying for the people in Japan and for all of the areas affected by the tsunami.  I could not believe the footage I was seeing on the news.  My heart goes out to everyone there.

Poppi and I had a very fun afternoon and evening with Tyler yesterday.   The time just went by way too fast before daddy and mommy picked him up.  He is quite a character and each week that goes by I see him learning more and more.  He surprises me with something new everytime I am with him.

Today I will be home for the most part working on some notes that I need to take to my friend Marga tomorrow for the book.  Tomorrow morning Mike and I are off to San Diego to meet Marga and work on the book.  I will let you all know how it is going on Monday.  Thank you for the sweet e-mails yesterday telling me about your faithful prayers for the book.  We appreciate it very much.

Good Friday morning!!  Yay!!  I am so ready for the weekend to be here!  Today right after I get off of work I am going to go and pick up my sweet Tyler and we are going to have some Nani/Tyler time.  I called Jenna and told her to let me pick him up today because I wanted to play.  Great way to start off my weekend!

On Sunday morning I am meeting my friend and the writer of our book SPF 150-It's a Sunny Day,  Marga Cooley in San Diego.  Looking forward to working on the book some more with her.  It is coming along.  Please keep this whole project in your prayers.  It is very exciting!

Thanks to everyone for all the fun stuff to celebrate "Birth Month"!!!  I am having a great time!

All six of the contestants that I like right now on American Idol were safe last night.  Hope Casey gets better soon.  Down to 12 contestants now.

Prayer requests: Please pray for Lorri Bigger Cavins.  She is getting sick (cold wise) and with the chemo meds she is on right now the Dr. told her she can't take anything to help relieve it.  Pray this doesn't knock her down and that she can stay on track with her treatments.  Also continued prayers for Aaron Bonilla's burn to his leg to heal quickly and not get infected.  Also for Angel Linda's cousin Cherrish and for her friend Bill for healing.  And strength for little Samuel after this last round of chemo.  (See Angel Linda's update on yesterday's post)  I also have a special private request for someone who could use some strength to get through something very hard today.  Hugs.
