Good Thursday morning!  How is your week going?  Mine is going good.  I have some awesome news to report!  The little baby girl named Alyson who we have been praying for about her hearing, passed all of her hearing tests yesterday!!!  She can hear!!!  WooHoo!!!  Praise God!!!  I am so happy for this little precious girl and for her parents!  Thank you all for praying for her. God is Good!  Happy Dance time!

American Idol was good last night.  They are down to 13 contestants right now.  The 6 that I really liked the most from last night are Lauren, Casey, Pia, James, Jacob and Scotty.  Simply amazing talent this year and so different from one another.  Going to be a tough pick this year.  Results on who gets eliminated tonight.

I would like to wish my sister-in-law Lori a "Happy Birthday" today! 

Prayer requests: For Angel Linda's friend Bill who has an aneurysm.  (see her comment from yesterday's post)  Also for little Samuel who is going through another chemo treatment.  Pray for his strength to get through it but also that this is working and killing all his cancer.  I pray so much for this little guy to be healed.  Also for my cousin's little girl Faith who fell yesterday and received stitches.  Pray that she heals quickly and for her to not have a headache.  Also for someone who is going through a great deal of stress and anxiety right now.  Something big is changing in their life and they have asked for us to pray for them strength and peace and for God to work something positive into this hard situation.  Pray for their health too because all the stress is affecting them.

Deuteronomy 7 verse 9:  Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is the faithful God who for a thousand generations keeps his promises and constantly loves those who love him and will obey his commands.

Question of the day.........Have you ever been scuba diving or snorkeling?  I have been snorkeling a few times but have never tried scuba diving.  I just loved seeing all the beautiful colorful fish and sea life the few times I have done it.

Before you get involved with your daily routine today, seek God and talk to Him and feed your soul with His word and truth for your life.  Experiencing God will cause you to imitate His goodness, and prosper in His abundance.

Good Wednesday morning!!  So yesterday was Mardi Gras day at our school.  Everyone dressed for Mardi Gras fun with beaded necklaces, masks, feather boas, Saints jerseys etc.  We also had an amazing lunch of a delicious Louisana boil of shrimp, potatos, sausage, corn on the cob etc...we have some awesome cooks on our staff.  Great way to eat on 'Fat Tuesday'. Thanks to Randi Ross and Patty Watson and everyone who worked so hard preparing for this fun day.  We appreciate you!

I wanted to give a shout out of thanks to everyone reading this blog for your faithful prayers for so many.  I can't begin to tell you how much it is appreciated and not taken for granted.  It has been simply amazing seeing the hand of God in each and every part of our lives.  I am continually praising God for answered prayer and for tremendous blessings.

Prayer requests:  Please keep my friend Amy Bonillas' son Ryan in your prayers.  He has been very sick with a high fever, asthma, headache, ear infections etc...  Pray that Ryan feels better and is back on his feet very soon.  Continued prayers for those still looking for jobs.  With the prices of everything going up it is getting very hard for those looking to make ends meet.  Pray that something comes their way soon. 

Matthew 6 verse 34:  So don't be anxious about tomorrow.  God will take care of your tomorrow too.  Live one day at a time.

God is Good!!

Good Tuesday morning!!  It is "Fat Tuesday"!   How is everyone?  What a windy day we had yesterday!  Yikes.....it was strong!  Looks like today will be nicer.  This question is a little late but did you have a good weekend?  I had a wonderful 3 days off.  Celebrating birthmonth has been great!  I have literally been surprised by something every single day.  I can't say thank you enough for all the wonderful surprises that have been coming my way daily.  Wow.....wow.....wow!!!! 

Our family had so much fun at the fair on Saturday.  The weather was beautiful and sunny.  It was actually shorts weather. It was awesome to see Tyler enjoying it all.  He loved seeing the animals.  He was not scared of them at all.  He also loved running around and even went down the super slide with his daddy Ryan.  We did eat a strawberry funnel cake (among other things) and it was sooooo good!  If you go to the fair you must have one of those.  It is okay because we are celebrating birthmonth!  :)

We also attended Kiana and Kaitlin Tucker's birthday party Saturday morning.  A set of beautiful little twin girls.  Tyler had fun with all the kids and really enjoys jumping in the bouncer.  He also hit his first pinata.  He is growing up so fast.  It just keeps getting more and more fun!

Church was great on Sunday morning and Sunday night was another relaxing dinner with the family and of course watching the Amazing Race.  Perfect ending to a weekend.

I would like to wish my friend Stacey Warner a very "Happy Birthday" today!!  Enjoy your day Stacey!!

Prayer requests:  Urgent prayer request from Angel Linda for her cousin Cherrish who is fighting for her life right now in ICU.  (Please read Angel Linda's comment in yesterday's post).  Please pray for little Aly as she is getting ready to take some more tests for her hearing.  Pray that today they find no fluid in her ears.  I also have several prayer requests for kids who are sick with a bad cold, asthma or flu.  Tyler has come down with something too.  Pray these precious little ones get well soon.  Pray for their parents too.

Deuteronomy 32 verses 3 & 4:  I will proclaim the greatness of the Lord.  How glorious he is!  He is the Rock.  His work is perfect.  Everything he does is just and fair.  He is faithful, without sin.

Question of the day......What holiday is your birthday closest to?  Mine is always between St. Patrick's Day and Easter.  Actually Easter has fallen on my birthday twice in my life.

I am so sorry.  I do not know what happened.  I typed out my whole blog entry, put pictures in and right before I was ready to post it....it was gone.  Neither Mike or I could figure out what happened.  I hadn't saved it yet.  What a big bummer!

I am getting ready to go to work so I do not have time right now to write another one nor will I this afternoon.  I will have a new one ready tomorrow with pictures of our trip to the fair.

I wanted to make sure to get the bible reading out there for today.....Deuteronomy 24 -27.

I am not going to let this start off my week on a bad note.  Stuff happens and it is okay.  Sooooo have a marvelous Monday everyone!!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!

Good Saturday morning!!  We are off and running to a very busy weekend.  We are going to a birthday party this morning and then we are heading to the county fair.  It will be extra fun this year being with Tyler.  I will take some pictures and share them next week.  I am ready to eat my way through the fair.  A funnel cake and corndog are a definite must!  Aaahhhhh......I have such great memories of the fair with our family. 

Going to be at church on Sunday morning and then dinner with the family on Sunday night and watching The Amazing Race.  Before I know it, it will be Monday morning and I will have wondered where the weekend went.  hahaha......I love it!

I want to wish a very "Happy Birthday" to my friend Amy Brinnon today.  I also want to wish a "Happy Birthday" tomorrow (Sunday) to my sister-in-law Tina and to my friend Amy Balzer.  Have a fun filled weekend girls!! 

Let's take the time today to praise and thank God for all of the wonderful blessings He gives to us!  Also for getting us through and walking with us each day!  Great is God's faithfulness to us.
