Leslie is still doing as well as can be expected with this poison medicine in her system.  Doing OK with nausea, eating and drinking fair, slept about 20 hours out of the last 24.  We're going to cut back a little on her meds today and she hopes to be up and around more today.  She treasures your comments and prayers, please keep them up!

God is good.

Leslie slept fairly well last night.  We woke up every three hours to get her meds down.  She is feeling a little sick this morning but not too bad.  A few of the side effects are kicking in but we are trying to manage them quickly.  She has a Dr. appointment this morning to get her Neulasta shot (boosts her white blood cells) and then coming back to Monica's to recover and relax.  Thank you so much for your prayers.  They are helping a lot!  Leslie also wanted me to thank all of you that have sent her cards while she is here and for the encouraging comments on this blog.  It really makes her day.

Thanks to our nephew Chris Cones for the beautiful flowers that you brought to Leslie yesterday.  She says they are gorgeous!

God is good!

Leslie did fairly well last night.  She is feeling a little sick and weak this morning.  Her appointment for the second round of chemo is at 10:00 again.  Her blood levels yesterday looked real good.  The Dr. and nurse were real pleased with her.  She is feeling all of your encouragement and prayers.  I read her the comments when we get back to Monica's and it puts a big smile on her face!  Thank you for all of the support you give to my wife.  I will update you later this afternoon.

Leslie wanted me to wish her good friend from Carson City Nevada, Teri Sulli, a wonderful birthday!

God is Good!

PS - The people at my work are all doing 60+ hours this week so I can be up here with Leslie.  Thanks guys!

UPDATE - We're back home (Monica's) .  Everything went as well as could be expected, Les will pretty much sleep until tomorrow morning.  6 days of IV therapy down and only 2 more to go, now to recover from this round.  Leslie wants me to let you know she appreciates your prayers and your comments,

I will be taking Leslie to her appointment soon.  Her appointment time is at 10:00.  She slept well last night and is in great spirits this morning.  She is ready to go in and get this treatment done and over with.  Thank you all for your prayers.  I know that is what is making her so strong this morning.  Thank you Edna Clary for the very encouraging card that was waiting for her when she got to Monica's last night.  It put a big smile on her face.  She loves cards.

I will be back on this afternoon with an update on how things went.  Thanks for keeping my wife lifted in prayer and for all the encouragment you give to her.

God is good!

***Update***Leslie did great today!  So far so good.  She is really tired but the nausea has not hit her yet.  She went in strong and stayed strong.  Thank you for uplifting her in your prayers.  God has been her rock and He is hearing and answering all of the prayers.

Good morning!  Well the time is finally here.  Mike, my mom and I head up to San Diego this evening.  Treatment number 3 is tomorrow and Wednesday.  I am ready.  I want to get it done.  God is giving me the strength to do this.  Thank you for your prayers and for continually keeping me in your prayers.  Mike will keep you updated this week on the blog and let you know how things are going.  I won't be back home until May 1st.  Thank you all for the constant encouragement!

Thank you Randi Ross for hosting a wonderful hawaiian themed dinner last night.  The food and decorations were awesome!  It was so much fun!  I had a great evening!

Some friends have asked for my sisters address again.  It is 5621 Lone Star Dr.  San Diego, CA  92120.

Congratulations to Stan and Amy Gilbert who were married yesterday in Texas.

Have a fantastic day!  God is peace and love and He is good!

***UPDATE*** It is about 2:00 in the afternoon Pacific time.  I started taking the Tamoxifen today and am already feeling sick from it.  Usually doesn't start till after I have done the IV chemo.  Please pray for me to get through this.  Thanks.
