Good morning!  Boy did I eat yesterday.  I ate a breakfast of cereal & waffles and bacon.  For lunch Jessica Silva and I went to Applebee's and had bacon cheeseburgers and french fries.  For a snack later I ate a bunch of double stuffed Oreos.  For dinner last night Terrie Olstowski picked me up and we ate a big italian dinner at Carrinos.  Right before bed I had a big piece of chocolate cake.  This morning I was so excited to jump on the scale and guess what?  I didn't even gain an ounce!  Talk about frustrating.  Oh well.....I will keep plugging away.  I think I see mexican food in my future today.....and more cake!

Sharon Ryan.....Thanks for the wonderful visit yesterday.  If you do not know who Sharon is, she owns the local scrapbook store here in Imperial and she is the nicest lady you will ever meet.  Go by and check out her store.....even if you don't scrapbook.  Her store is beautiful.

Good morning!  Gaining weight has always been hard for me to do.  I just have a high metabolism.  But I am happy to report that I am only 2 pounds away from the goal weight that I set for myself before my next round of chemo.  My next round is April 22nd and 23rd.  That still gives me 13 days to gain the weight and even more.  If I could gain 5 more pounds I would be happy.  So thats basically my job these days.......to eat!  What a job huh?  I have to keep a sense of humor in all of this.

Stacey Barbee....thanks for sending the cute pictures of Braden.  Loved them!

Happy Tuesday morning!  I had another full nights sleep!  What an answer to prayer.  Speaking of answering prayer.....you all have been so faithful to keep me in your prayers and I want you to know that God is answering those prayers big and small.  I had a much better recovery this second time around, some of the side effect issues that I have had a hard time dealing with have gotten better, my anxiety has gotten better....not great but better, and I am also slowly gaining weight.    When I need a pick me up, a good laugh or need encouragement it always comes by the way of cards in the mail (which I love.....there are some pretty funny cards out there), a comment on this blog, a phone call etc....  My family has been so blessed through out this trying time and we are enduring.  God has given us all amazing strength through  this whole ordeal.  God has taught me much.  I could go on and on but just wanted to let you know that God is so faithful and He loves and cares for each one of us so much.  My family and I totally lean on Him and He has been our rock. 

I am going to get a tall cool drink and sit outside and watch Mike paint the house today.  I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Good morning!  I am posting a little later then I usually do because I finally slept a full nights sleep!  It was the first full night of sleep I have had since my last treatment.  I had a good day yesterday and I am eating very well.  Thank you Patty & Ella McDonald for bringing me more food to fatten me up.

I also wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who walked in the Relay For Life walk for me.  Some of you donated your $ and your time in my name and I want to thank you very much for doing that.  I would love to get a big team together for next years walk.  Just need to think of a good name for our team.  Any ideas?  Would you like to join my team?

I want to send my love and congratulations to Jonathan and Nora Dale.  I had the priviledge and honor of attending their wedding yesterday.  It was beautiful and it was so great to see some old friends. 

Also a big congratulations to John and Marla Grose who are some dear friends of ours too.  They were also married yesterday in Nebraska.

Thanks to Clyde and Tisha Carson and family and to Peggy Severe and family for the baked goodies you brought to me yesterday.  All I can say is that I am in heaven and YUMMMMMMOOOOOOO!!!!!!!  Guaranteed to put on weight!

Thanks Aunt Martha and Uncle Cecil for the informative book.  I am reading it right now.  That was so sweet of you to send.  Please also thank your friends John and Marie for the special service they set up for me.  I am truly honored and have the date marked on my calendar.
