Good Morning!  I had a great day yesterday!  I caught up with some things around my house and my daughter Jenna came over with her puppy and we hung around outside with the whole family all afternoon.  It was a nice day outside and it looks like we are going to have another nice day today too.  I even went to Wal-Mart last night with my hubby!  As I sat outside I was thanking God for the many blessings He has rained down on our family.  I know we are so blessed.....even in trying circumstances. 

Thanks Monica for spoiling me to death while I stay with you.  I am the luckiest sister ever!  Thanks Mom for waiting on me and feeding me so well.  I love you both tons!

Thanks to my father-in-law and mother-in-law Frank & Jodi for the great "Welcome Home Leslie" sign.  What a wonderful thing to see when we pulled up in our driveway!  Put a huge smile on my face.  I love you both!

Thanks Kimberly Phillips for extending my birthday fun even longer.  I loved it!

I'm Home!!  I came home to quite a surprise too.  My sweet husband Mike gets tons of gift certificates to Lowe's for Christmas, Father's Day, his birthday, etc.... Well he decided to put them to good use and he started to paint the outside of our house!  We had talked about doing it before but put it out of our minds when I got sick.   He decided since I spend so much time around here that it would be a good project for him to work on.  He has also made our deck into a little piece of paradise for me and I love sitting out there for a change of scenery and to read.  He is the sweetest and is always thinking of what he can do to make my life easier right now.  I love him so much!  Thanks babe!

I want to also wish my brother and sister-in-law Donald & Noni Cones a very Happy Anniversary! (23 years!)

Good Morning!  My anxiety level was a little better yesterday.  Thank you for your prayers.  It was actually a beautiful clear day yesterday here in San Diego.  So my mom and I spent quite a bit of time outside.  It felt great.  I have been up and about way more now and am able to take  walks.  My strength is returning.  My sister always cooks me a HUGE breakfast before she leaves for work and with my mom feeding me all day I am finally starting to put on a little weight.  My weight is still an issue but I have a couple of weeks to work on that.  My recovery after this second round went much better then the first.  I think we now know what to do better.....but I KNOW that it was all of you praying for me.  God listens to every prayer we throw at Him and He does answer.  So thanks again for faithfully keeping me in your prayers. 

Mike is coming to pick me up tomorrow to take me home.  Although my time up here has been great I am ready to be home.  I will blog late tomorrow after I get home.

My HOPE is in God and He is so Good!

Good morning.  I could really use your prayers today.  I am having a lot of anxiety lately.  Some days are worse then others and this all started when I was first diagnosed with cancer.  Yes, I am on medication to help it but I still get overwhelmed sometimes......especially with the thoughts of having to do two more of these treatments and with some side effect issues that I have been having to deal with lately.  I so treasure and appreciate you keeping me in your daily prayers and I am  glad that I can come to everyone with more specific details.  Thank you.

God is so Good!

Guess What?!?  My mom took me to the beach yesterday  for awhile, then we went shopping and then to a great movie!  NOT!!.........April Fools!   Our day consisted more of me laying on the couch watching T.V. and her trying to fatten me up!  My mom fed me really well yesterday.  It won't be long before I am to a good weight.  I have a Dr. appointment this morning at 9:00 for a check-up and to have more blood work done.  I'll come back later and let you know how it went.  Thanks for faithfully keeping me in your thoughts and prayers.  Thanks for all of the good nutrition advice too.  I love hearing all of the ways I can gain weight.  Happy April Fool's Day!!  Anyone play any good jokes today?

**Update**  My sister Monica took me to the Doctor and all went real well.   My blood work looks real good and he said that I am doing very well.  He is very pleased with my progress so far.  I am so very thankful that God has gotten me through this and I know He will be there with me every step of the way for the rest too.  I ate a big Wendy's cheeseburger for lunch and had fries dipped in ranch dressing.  Yum!
