"When you wish someone joy, you wish them peace, love, prosperity, happiness....all the good things!" ----Maya Angelou

Good windy Friday morning!  Yay!!!  I am ready for the weekend!  I wanted to let you all know that my lab work went great yesterday.  The nurse got my vein on the first try.  Thank you for praying and thank you Lord.  I just kept my eyes closed the whole time and pictured myself sitting on God's lap while He was holding my arm out for the nurse.  I am relieved that this part is done.  I also have good news from the blood work.  My white cell count is FINALLY in normal range!  My red cell count is still a little low but getting close to normal range.

I could not believe my ears last night when I heard that Pia was eliminated on American Idol.  I am so sad about that.  I for sure thought Stefano would be the one to go.  He should of been the one to go.  So heartbreaking.  They are now down to 8 contestants.  My favorites are still in it.

I will be taking the weekend off from blogging.  We are headed out of town to attend a dear friend of ours, Ashlee Cox's wedding.  Looking forward to seeing and spending time with some great friends.

Here is a picture of Tyler laughing because his Poppi was chasing him.  This grandboy is such a joy to our hearts.

Prayer requests:  For someone who is going to need strength to get through something very hard today.  Pray that the results to something that happened turn out far better than they can even hope for.  Also please pray that everything goes smooth for me on Tuesday.  I still have not talked to a nurse yet on what to expect.  Hopefully today.  Thank you very much.

John 19 verses 7 - 11:  They replied, "By our laws he ought to die because he called himself the Son of God."  When Pilate heard this, he was more frightened than ever.  He took Jesus back into the palace again and asked him, "Where are you from?" but Jesus gave no answer.  "You won't talk to me?" Pilate demanded.  "Don't you realize that I have the power to release you or to crucify you?"  Then Jesus said, "You would have no power at all over me unless it were given to you from above.  So those who brought me to you have the greater sin."  To be continued....

Read the bible in a year:  Today......2 Samuel 13 - 15.  Saturday.......2 Samuel 16 - 18.  Sunday.....2 Samuel 19 - 21.  Monday......2 Samuel 22 - 24.

Have a fantabulous day and weekend everyone!  Be safe.  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!  See you on Monday!

Question.......What is your favorite kind of soup?

Good Thursday morning!!  Thank you for the tremendous support and faithful prayers.  Things are moving along now. Dr. Lean's office called and I will be having the first part of my procedure done on Tuesday, April 12th at Tri-City hospital in Vista. This is where they will  implant little gold seeds by the tumors so they can use that as a marker for when I get the cyber knife surgery done.   I do not know any details yet.  A nurse from the hospital will be calling me in the next day or two with all of the details and pre-op information.  One thing that I do know is that I have to have lab work done this afternoon.  You know what that means.....yep.....please pray for me strong veins and that the nurse gets it on the first try.

On a way different note.....this year's American Idol is so good with so many that are talented and could win it.  It is really getting down to be anybody's game now.  There is one that won't break my heart to see go, but it is getting hard now.  We will see who gets eliminated tonight.

Here are the last couple of pictures I wanted to share with you from Saturday's Relay For Life cancer walk.  Here is a collage of a few luminaria bags that I took pics of.  I wish I could post all of them.  You were all so very generous to donate so many in my name.  There is a picture of one for Bill Cartwright and for Lorri Cavins.

Prayer requests:  Please pray for a lady by the name of Bec who has been diagnosed with oral cancer. She has quite a battle ahead of her.  Bec and her family could really use our prayers to get through this hard time.  Pray for God's total healing and for strength.

For the next week or so I will share the story from the bible of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection.  John 19 verses 1 - 6:  Then Pilate laid open Jesus' back with a leaded whip, and the soldiers made a crown of thorns and placed it on his head and robed him in royal purple.  "Hail, 'King of the Jews!' " they mocked, and struck him with their fists.  Pilate went outside again and said to the Jews, "I am going to bring him out to you now, but understand clearly that I find him not guilty."  Then Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe.  And Pilate said, "Behold the Man!"  At the sight of him the chief priests and Jewish officials began yelling, "Crucify!  Crucify!"  "You crucify him," Pilate said.  "I find him not guilty."

Read the bible in a year:  Today....... 2 Samuel 8 - 12.  Friday......2 Samuel 13 - 14.

Have a super day everyone!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!

One of the pleasures of growing older is the perspective it brings to the store of blessings that multiply in your life....growing older means growing more grateful.  The joy of family and friends and faith and work, and gratitude for the gifts that each new day holds.  It is a daily reminder that we are so richly blessed.  Even in troubled times there is more to be thankful for than not.

Good Wednesday morning!  I made it through yesterday without any major anxiety.  Yay!  I know it was an answer to all of your prayers.  Thank you so much.  I was able to attend one of the students baseball games yesterday afternoon with my co-worker Jessica.  It is so much fun to watch the little ones play.

I received a call yesterday from Dr. Lean's office and they are still waiting the insurance company's approval.  I appreciate you all praying for a speedy approval.  She said they are ready to get started on this now, but can't until they get the approval.  This waiting is hard.

Here are some more Relay for Life cancer walk pictures....The first beautiful lady you see on the left is Carmen Canalez who generously gave so much time to make sure everything with her team ran smooth and was a success.  I thank you Carmen from the bottom of my heart.  Also in the pic are Sarah, Cris and me.

@Hallie.....Electra has been moved to another rehab facility and I do not know the new address yet.  I have someone working on that for me and will let you know her new address when I get it.

@Angel Linda.....oh you sweet thing....do not feel bad for not knowing about my anxiety. Life is busy!  God knows and like Aunt Edith said he knew you were going to pray  anyways.  ((hugs))

Prayer requests:  For continued peace and comfort for the families mourning the loss of a loved one.  Pray they will be strengthened each day by friends, family and the wonderful memories they have.  Send a card to someone you know just to let them know you are praying for them and thinking about them.  Also for the man who I mentioned yesterday that was in a bad accident is still in critical condition.  Pray that he will pull though this, for the Drs. wisdom on how to treat him and for his family right now to have strength to help him through.

Philippians 4 verse 13:  For I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power.

Read the bible in a year:  Today......2 Samuel 4 - 7.  Thursday.......2 Samuel 8 - 12.

Have a wonderful day everyone!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!

Question.....Do you have a recliner in your house?  Yes I do.....it is like sitting in a big marshmallow.  Ty and I take naps together in it.

Good Tuesday morning!  I had a pretty rough morning yesterday.  I woke up with severe anxiety.  I cannot pinpoint why all of a sudden I am having these anxiety attacks right now.  Seems like to me they would of started earlier last week,  but none the less I had one yesterday morning.  I barely managed to get done all the things I needed to do before I go to work, and out the door I went.  I thought that once I was at work I would be okay.  I made it to the parking lot at work and that was about it.  I realized at that point that I wasn't going to make it.  One of my dear friends took me out and talked to me a long time and saw that I got home okay.  Jeff was here and he took great care of me.  I actually slept most of the day.  I was fine yesterday afternoon.  So far so good this morning.

I think a lot of my problem is that I am a planner by nature.  I like to know when things are going to happen and what day it will happen.  With everything up in the air right now I am feeling unsettled.  Plus this is a whole new procedure and I don't know what all to expect.  Also the thought of all of this is sometimes overwhelming.  But I do know that God's timing is perfect and I can rest in Him that no matter what happens when, it is in His perfect time.

All of your beautiful comments, cards, e-mails and texts have been keeping me encouraged.  Thank you for continuing to pray for me faithfully.  I sure do need it right now.  Especially thank you for loving me so much.  I do feel you all hanging in there with me and fighting.  God continues to hold me and is teaching me much.  We still have not heard from the Drs. office yet so they are probably still waiting on insurance approval.

I have a few more pictures today to show you from the Relay for Life cancer walk.  This is my friend Jessica and I posed by my banner.

Prayer requests:  I received a request yesterday from someone who would like prayer for their daughter who is pregnant.  Please pray that she can carry this baby to term.  She has already lost two previous pregnancies.  Another request too from  a family member of someone who was in a serious accident and is in a coma.  Pray he comes out of the coma and recovers quickly from his injuries.

Matthew 7 verse 7:  Ask, and you will be given what you ask for.  Seek, and you will find.  Knock, and the door will be opened.  For everyone who asks, receives.  Anyone who seeks, finds.  If only you will knock, the door will open.

Read the bible in a year:  Today..... 2 Samuel 1 - 3.  Wednesday....... 2 Samuel 4 - 7

Have a terrific day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

Question..........What is under your bed right now?  I have drawers under my bed that are full of miscellaneous things.
