Good Monday morning!!  How was your weekend everyone?  The Relay for Life cancer walk was good!  There were a lot of people who participated and it was great seeing so many friends.  I even ran into a friend I went to high school with that I hadn't seen in years.  I had a blast walking the laps and visiting.   It is great knowing everyone was there for the same cause and over $100.000.00 was raised!  A HUGE thank you to everyone who generously bought a luminaria in my name.  I saw them all and took pictures.  Let's continue to pray for a cure.  From what I am told they are so close to a cure with some of the types of cancers.

The best part of the whole thing was walking the last lap.  Last year I was pushing Tyler in his stroller.  This year my little buddy was actually walking it with me.  Talk about this Nani's heart swelling big......I had happy tears again.  Here is a picture of us starting to walk.

I would like to wish a BIG "Happy Birthday" to Samantha Morgan today!  Have a super fun day Sami!!

I would also like to wish my brother Donald and my sister-in-law Noni a "Happy Anniversary" today and also to Matt and Lacey Jones!  Lots of celebrations happening today!

Prayer requests:  For my anxiety.  It is creeping up hard on me. That my insurance company approves my treatment today and that I hear from the Dr. soon.  I hope to get started on things this week.  Also strength, guidance and willpower for some young teenagers who have made bad decisions in their life.  Pray for their parents as they are working on getting them the help they need.  Pray they can overcome their addictions and lead a better life for themselves.

James 1 verses 17 & 18:  But whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God, the Creator of all light, and he shines forever without change or shadow.  And it was a happy day for him when he gave us our new lives, through the truth of his Word, and we became, as it were, the first children in his new family.

Good Saturday morning!!  I am looking outside a window right now as I type this and I see a beautiful humming bird flying around an orange flower and I can hear the birds chirping.  Spring is definitely here and I love it.  I love seeing the trees starting to blossom, grass getting green and flowers growing.  Yesterday was a very warm day in the Imperial Valley.  Yesterday afternoon we were all sitting on Ryan and Jenna's back yard patio and watching Tyler run through the sprinklers in his swim shorts.  He was giggling so much.  I did not have my camera with me so no pics but I promise to get some the next time he does it.  It was so cute!

I am all ready to head out today to walk the Relay For Life cancer walk.  I am so thankful that I feel good enough to do this.  It is really important to me and I know a ton of wonderful people have worked so hard to put this event together.  Hey Brenda Grose....I got a luminaria in memory of your Dad.  I will take a picture of it and get it to you soon.  Wish you were here with us to walk too.

Prayer requests:  Please pray for the safety and protection for all of our troops serving in the military.  Pray for their families too.  Also for our world in general....pray for guidance and wisdom for our leaders making some hard decisions.

Praise God for all of our blessings and for His unconditional love.  Also praise Him and thank Him for the new grace and mercies He gives us each day.

Psalms 139 verses 17 & 18:  How precious it is, Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me constantly!  I can't even count how many times a day your thoughts turn towards me.  And when I waken in the morning, you are still thinking of me!
