Good morning and Happy Memorial Day!  I just wanted to take a moment and thank all of our men and women serving in our military and their families for their willingness to serve and the sacrifices they make for us so that our country can be safe.  I appreciate you all so much!  Please remember to keep all of our troops that are away fighting for us in your prayers.....for protection and that they come home safely to their families.

I am feeling a little stronger today.  I think that I might be on the upswing now.  I sure hope so.  I thank God for every little baby step that I take and I do take everything one day at a time.  Did everyone have a nice 3 day weekend?  What are you up to today?  Hope you are having fun!

Praise God from whom all blessings flow......Well I made it to Jenna's graduation because I had so many of you praying for me.  I was so thrilled to be able to see her walk across that stage and receive her diploma.  But I really want you to know that you LITERALLY prayed me through that graduation.  I woke up Saturday morning very fatigued and sick.  We left for San Diego anyways.  I stayed sick until it was time to get dressed and go.  I got dressed, Jenna did my hair and away we went.  I made it to my seat (Yes, I had a wheelchair) and stayed until she received her diploma.  I immediately left and went back to my sisters very fatigued and sick.  I missed the party my sister had for her afterwards but that was okay.  I did what I came for and I would do it again in a heartbeat.  God is awesome and He listens to and answers our prayers.  I know I sound like a broken record but I really cannot thank you enough for keeping me uplifted in your prayers.  I am still so weak and sick.....it was to be expected.....it is really trying though.  I know that this will all pass soon.....I just wish it would move a little faster.

Good Morning!  Yesterday was a little hard on me.  Am suffering from some side effects right now.  I was pretty much down the whole day.  I will definitely be resting up a lot today so I can go tomorrow.  We were going to go up to San Diego tonight, but have decided to wait until tomorrow morning.  Really need some prayers right now for some strength and relief from some anxiety.  The Dr. called yesterday to say that my blood work came back and I was too low on potassium and magnesium and that they had called in a perscription for both.  I have started to take those and hope that will help me to feel stronger.  Thanks for praying!

Good morning everyone!  Yep, it's me again back on the computer.  Yesterday was a turning point for me.  I finally started to feel like a human being again.  I was able to be up more and do a few tiny things around the house.  If I continue on the path that I was feeling yesterday I should have no problem at all attending Jenna's graduation on Saturday.  Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers and for keeping me encouraged.  This last treatment was really hard on me and since I am still on oral chemo until June 17th it will take me longer to bounce back.  I am so happy about being finished with the other two chemo drugs though.  I did do a Happy Dance (sort of)  but will do a HUGE one on June 17th!!!  Thanks for making me laugh at all of your happy dance stories!  They were great and I can just picture you all doing them too.  Funny stuff!!

I want to wish my dear sister-in-law Noni Cones a very Happy Birthday today!  You look good girl!

Please continue to keep me in your prayers for Saturday and that all goes well.  I will definitely keep you all posted.  Have a wonderful day!  God is Good!!!!!
