Leslie had a fairly good night last night.  She did the happy dance the best she could from the couch.  One more BIG "Happy Dance" left which will be June 17th.  That will be the last day of all oral chemo drugs and her road to start getting back to 100%.  Now we need prayer that we can build up her strength in the next 4 days so she can make it to Jenna's graduation.  Hopefully in the next day or so she will have her appetite back too.  The Dr. said yesterday that she was doing so good.  She will have her first full body scan since the treatment started sometime in mid-June.  We will keep you updated on that.  In the meantime her job is to just relax and get stronger.  We cannot begin to know how to thank you all for your faithful prayers and encouragement.  What a huge blessing it has been for our family.  Also, thanks for your comments.  I read them to Leslie through out the day and she just loves it.  She is so encouraged and uplifted by them.

God is Good!

Yes, today is a big day to celebrate.  Tonight at 8pm, Leslie will take the last of her Tamoxifen.  Everyone should once again do the happy dance!  She will still be on her Nexavar for the next month, but ending the Tamoxifen will be a big help.  Also, Leslie and Mike have decided to come home again after her doctor's appointment at 10am this morning.  They will come back to San Diego on Friday so she has plenty of rest for Jenna's graduation on Saturday.  Leslie is ready for her own bed and to play with her dog Smokey.

Yesterday was still a tough day.  We cherish your continued prayers for Leslie especially for her anxiety with her doctor's appointment today at 10am, and her continued strength.

Through these rough days we can still say God is Good!!

Leslie had a pretty rough day yeaterday but did fairly well last night, maybe the tide is turning.  We're off to the doctor's office this morning for a quick injection then back to Monica's to rest and hopefully eat.  Leslie is having quite a bit of anxiety about going back to "that place" (doctor's office) today and tomorrow, please pray for peace and calm.

The last 24 hours haven't been so good for Les, still having extreme fatigue and intermittant nausea.  We knew it would get worse with every treatment, we just din't know how much worse.   Back to the doctor's office tomorrow for a white blood cell booster shot and Tuesday to see Dr McClay.

We're praying for a better day today and strength for Jenna's graduation Saturday (Jenna spent the day up here yesterday and left this morning, we had a great visit)

God is good!

Well, the IV chemo is done but it's not out of her body yet,  Leslie had a rough night last night :(  I know you will keep praying for her.    Tuesday night will be the last of the Tamoxifen, she should start feeling better after that.

Diane Ming, Leslie wanted me to thank you for the sweet card and thanks to all for your "Happy Dance" comments

Life is hard but God is good, let's do the happy dance!
