Today is Leslie's last day of IV chemo treatments!!  She did very well yesterday.  She is tired and feeling a little sick but is doing okay.  Let's cheer her on and encourage her today. She wants everyone to stand up and do the "Happy Dance" tonight to celebrate.

She wants to thank her Dad and Edna Clary for the very sweet cards that you sent her yesterday.  They mean a lot to her.  Thank you for keeping my wife and family in your prayers.

Will try to update you later today on how things went.  God is Good!

*****UPDATE*****  Leslie is done with her IV chemo!!!  I even got pictures of her doing the "Happy Dance" in the parking lot.  If I can find a USB cable here, I may try to post a picture later.  We are back at Monica's and she is resting comfortably.  Thank you for all the kind comments you have posted so far, keep them coming - she loves them!  Please keep Leslie in your prayers for minimal side effects and for enough strength to make it to Jenna's graduation next Saturday.

Good Morning!!  WOW!!!  When I got to my sister's house last night she had inspirational and encouraging signs hung up everywhere in the house for me to see.....even in the bathroom!  Love it!  When I got to the front door my sisters friend Deanna Weyman had left me a big bouquet of flowers and a wonderful gift.  When I came inside the house my sweet nephew Chris Cones had left me another big beautiful bouquet of flowers.  When I got upstairs to my room there was another wonderful gift left for me from my sisters friend Dawn Virgilio and a sweet encouraging card from Peggy Dale.  What an awesome way to be greeted and such a nice surprise!  Thank you so much!  That was so incredibly sweet.

Thanks also to Lisa Alloway and Peggy Severe for the great visit yesterday and for the delicious earthquake cake that you sent me off with.  (One last attempt to fatten me up!) :)  Thanks Terrie Olstowski and Denise Rogers for your pep talks!

My Chemo appointment is at 10:00 and also at 10:00 tomorrow.  Please keep my in your prayers at that time.  Mike will keep you updated from here on out.  I am so thankful that this is the last one.

Good morning!  Well the day is finally here.  I start my heavy duty oral chemo drugs today.  We will be leaving for San Diego this evening and tomorrow will start the IV Chemo treatments. LAST ONE!!!!  I can do this.....won't be easy though.  Today I will be packing and tying up loose ends before I am gone again for so long.  Jeff will be holding down the fort  while we are away.  Mike and I should be back in the Valley May 25th.  Thank you for continuously keeping me uplifted in prayer!  Boy do I need it!  Please keep my whole family in your prayers too.  Mike will be taking over the blog for awhile and keep you posted on how things are going.

Last night I was able to go out to dinner with some friends to celebrate my friend Cheryl's birthday and my sister-in-law Noni's birthday.  I had a great time and ate tons of Italian food.  My weight is good going into this last round.  Thanks for all of the fun and laughs last night girls!

Good Morning!  I wanted to let you know of some celebration milestones that I have coming up.  This Friday I will celebrate the end of my IV Chemo drugs!  Yahoo!  On Tuesday May 20th I will celebrate the end of one of my oral Chemo drugs!  Yippee!  On June 17th I will be really celebrating the end of taking all of my oral Chemo drugs!  Yippee and Yahoo!  It will be around that time that I will have my first full body scan since starting my treatments.  I have no worries there because I have the faith that God has completely healed me.  The Dr. said that i won't be feeling up to 100% until August.  After my first treatment i was running on about 80%.  After the second one I was running on 70%.  But this last one really did me in and I am running on about 50%.  I am a little nervous about how I am going to feel after this last treatment but I know that I can do it.....that it is my last one.....and as soon as I stop taking that last pill it can only get better and better.  Please continue to keep me in your prayers for strength and healing.  Again I cannot begin to tell you how much it means to me to receive so much encouragement from all of you.  Again thanks for coming on this long journey with me.  It's not over yet but I do see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Good Morning!  How was your weekend?  I had a wonderful Mother's Day.  My kids spoiled me a lot.  Our family went to church and then  had a big brunch over at my brother Donald and sister-in-law  Noni's house  that was so much fun.  Of course by 1:00 I came home and slept for awhile (the fatigue is really bad this time around) but then Jenna came over and watched movies with me all afternoon.  It was an awesome day for me.  Thanks Jen, Jeff and Ryan for all that you do for me.  I love you tons!  (And Mike too....He always spoils me on Mother's Day....I love you tons too babe!)

So tell me all of you moms out there something about your Mother's Day.  And if you are not a mom...what did you do for your mom?  Come on.....don't be shy....I really want to know how your day was.
