Good morning!  I am doing pretty darn good after this last chemo round.  Just a little tired but other then that not too shabby!  I actually got out a little bit yesterday with Mike and did some running around.  Feels so good to be released from the bubble!  I remember what the inside of a grocery store looks like now!  Ha!

On American Idol news......Oooooohhhhh my Danny was voted off last night.  Oh well, I really think that Adam will win this whole thing but you just never know.  Kris might pull off the win.  They are both good.  Will find out next week.  Who do you think will win?  Who do you want to win?

Good morning!  So far so good.  I am feeling pretty good this morning.  The anti-nausea drugs are working well.  My Dr. said that even though my white cell count is in a normal range, he wants me to finish my 10 days of shots.  I have done 7 already and have 3 more to go.  I don't seem to be having anymore side effects from them either.  I will receive another red cell booster shot next week when I go back to San Diego for treatment.

WoooHoooo!!!!  I only have 10 more treatments to go!!  I know that sounds like a lot but I started with 24 so 10 sounds a lot better to me.  I need to do a "Leslie's Big Top Ten Count Down."  Any ideas anyone?  Something funny.  It could be anything.  Well start thinking about it and let me know.  I know there are a bunch of creative minds out there!

I want to wish my brother-in-law Matt Stiegemeyer a very "Happy Birthday" today!  Have a super day Matt!!

UPDATE: We are home now for the second time.  Got home the first time around 4:30 and had to leave right out the door again so Leslie could get her white cell booster shot from Laurie.  Everything went great today.  Leslie is doing well and now resting.  Thanks for your prayers.  God is good.

Good morning!  We are off to San Diego in just a few minutes.  My chemo treatment is at 10:00.  If you could say a prayer for me during that time I would so much appreciate it!  We will be home later this evening.  Mike has a few places to stop before we come home.  He will try to get on here later to update you all on how it went..

I want to thank Room 1 yesterday for inviting me to come and read a story to them.  That was the highlight of my day...week.....month!  I miss you so very much!  Thank you Jess!!  You knew that would be the right medicine for me!  Couldn't wipe the smile from my face!

UPDATE: I am good to go with the chemo tomorrow!  My white cell count is finally in the normal range which means that I get to get out of my bubble more now!  Yay!  My red cell count improved a little bit but still is not in range.  The platelets were in range last week and dropped slightly out of range this week.  But everything is good enough to do another treatment.....thank you God!!!  Thanks for praying!!

Good Monday morning!  Here are a few pictures we took yesterday for Mother's day.  We went to Carrino's last night for Italian food.  We had a super time and the food was great!  My kids and hubby spoiled me yesterday.  I had a wonderful Mother's Day!   How was yours?

Today I go into the hospital to get blood work done and to see if my levels have gone up.  Please pray that they have and look good enough to continue treatment.  So far I have had 1 red cell booster and 5 white cell booster shots.  I will then go to San Diego tomorrow for my 2nd round of chemo if everything looks good.  I will come back on here later today with an update.  Thank you so very much for keeping me in prayer.  The side effects from the booster shots are getting better too.
