Good late morning!  My blog would not let me in this morning until right now.  I think the site was down for a while.  How is everyone?  I sure do hope you are enjoying your weekend.  Especially all of you beautiful mom's out there!

I am unfortunately suffering from some hard side effects from the white cell booster shots.   Could you please pray about that for me?   Don't know if I can continue them much longer.  I have only had 3 shots and am suppose to have 7 more.  I will try to make it until Monday and talk to my Dr. about it. I'll keep you posted.

Well I have lots to keep me busy this weekend to keep my mind off of it.  Looking forward to some fun with my family!  By the way I love so many flowers that I don't really have a favorite.

Today is another gift and God is so Good!!

Good Morning!!  Yesterday went well.  I pretty much did a whole lot of nothing and rested.  I have been feeling good and the side effects (except one)  haven't been too bad.  Thank you for praying!  Today I hope to get up more and do a little scrapbooking.  We will see.

Have you all had your skin checked yet by your Dr.?  My son Jeff made an appointment and went and they are going to remove a couple of moles on his back.  Please pray that it is nothing and the results come back negative.  I will keep you posted on that.  Mike, Jenna and Ryan have all been checked already.  They all had a couple of moles removed and are fine.  PLEASE....if you haven't gotten checked yet, make an appointment to do so. PLEASE also remember to always wear sunscreen.

It is Friday!  Yay!!  What are your plans for the weekend?  I hope they have something to do with Mother's Day on Sunday.  All mom's deserve to be pampered!!  I am looking forward to a great day with my family.

What is your favorite flower?

Good morning!  One of the side effects has hit me already unfortunately.  I am working on getting it under control.  It is one I have to deal with each time and it is no fun at all.  Hopefully today will be a little better.  My prayer requests are for my levels to stay up and for the side effects to not be so bad.  Thanks!

I want to thank Laurie Middleton RN for giving me my booster shots.  I would like to also thank Mike Pearson RN for always taking such good care of me when I see you weekly at the hospital.  You both have been awesome!  (Both are from PMH)

Today I have plans to do absolutely nothing but hang out and rest.  Mike is off today again so he keeps me pretty well entertained too.  On American Idol.....Wow.....Allison is gone!  I think Kris was super surprised to have stayed.  Kris is good and cute but my favorite is still Danny.  It is hard to guess what two I think will be the top two until next week.  It just depends on who blows it or not.  What did you all think?  Anyone bummed that Allison is gone?  Who do you think will win?

So.......what's for lunch????????

Good morning!  I am actually feeling pretty good so far this morning.  Let's  hope it stays that way.  OH MY GOSH............GOD IS SO GOOD.........WANT TO KNOW WHY????  Last year when I was doing my chemo in San Diego I got very attached and bonded with a chemo nurse named Tressa.  Well Tressa left last June after I finished my treatments (she waited for me to finish) and decided it was time to take a break from chemo nursing.  Oh I was going to miss seeing her so much but I wasn't coming back either so it was okay.  Well on the way up to San Diego yesterday I was praying that God would put me with a nurse that I would love and could bond with. Sooooooooo......I get up to my treatment center and walk in and who is there waiting for me??  TRESSA!!!!!  I couldn't believe my eyes!  Oh my gosh I was so excited I was going to cry.  She hugged me  and said she was not sure why she came back and I said it was because of me!!!!  God brought you back here for me!!  You couldn't wipe the smile from my face the whole visit!!  Tressa had a nice break and felt God bringing her back to oncology nursing again.  I love this lady very much.  I feel so incredibly blessed that she is my nurse again!  Thanks God!

My Dr. saw me yesterday too.  They gave me a red cell booster shot yesterday and I will have white cell booster shots for the next 10 days.  If my levels do not stay up.....they will cancel the treament again.  So could you bombard God for me with your prayers that my levels will stay up so I can finish the treatments?  I go to the hospital again on Monday to check before my next chemo on Tuesday.  I have 11 more treatments to go.......at least I can say I am more then half way done now.

Now on to some American Idol talk.  Well it was obvious that Adam rocked the house last night.  I knew he would do good because rock is what he does best.  He was great.  Alison did pretty good too when she was doing the duet.  My Danny.....not so good......but not too terrible either.  I think Kris is going to go next.  That is just my guess.  It is hard because some of these themes are good for one person but not others.  Be interesting to see who goes tonight.  I hope my Danny stays!  What's everyone else think?

UPDATE:  Leslie is home and she is doing great!  Everything went good today.  She walked into quite a surprise when she got there.  I will let her tell you about it tomorrow.  Need prayers that her levels will stay up or they will stop the chemo again.  She did get a red cell booster shot today and will be getting a white cell booster shot everyday for the next ten days.  That with all of you praying, she will do great.  Thanks for taking good care of my wife.  God is good!

Good morning!  It is Cinco De Mayo!  Mike and I are off to San Diego in a few minutes for my chemo treatment.  Just wanted to come on and say "Hello"  and to thank you for being so faithful in keeping me in your prayers.  We should be home late this afternoon.  Mike will come back on here later and give you an update on how it all went.  I am a little nervous but very ready.  I want to get this done!
