Good Tuesday morning!! We had a nice little 4.6 at 4:30 this morning to shake us all awake.  I guess these aftershocks can last for weeks!  Yuck!!

Thank you all for keeping my sister-in-law Lori in your prayers yesterday.  Her surgery went really well. She is at home resting comfortably.  I don't know much more than that.  I will keep you updated when I find out more.  I talked to Bill Cartwright's daughter Brenda yesterday and she said he is doing a little better.  It is going to be a long, slow process but he is a strong man and I know he cherish's all of the prayers.

Tyler did wonderful at the Drs. yesterday for his shots.  He barely made a peep.  He is such a good boy!  He is at the stage now where he is rolling over everywhere and is trying hard to get up on his knees.  I told Jenna it won't be long before he is crawling all over the place.

Aunt Maryann.....sounds like you all had great food and a wonderful time!!

Here are the pictures of Jenna and Tyler at the same age.  Don't they look alike?  Sorry about Jenna's picture looking a little distorted.  We scanned it first and it came out like this.

I want to wish my sweet friend Cheryl Hargrove a very "Happy Birthday" today!!  Hope you have a fun day Cheryl!  See you and the girls tonight for some birthday fun!

Psalms 37 verse 3, 4, & 5: Trust in the Lord instead.  Be kind and good to others; then you will live safely here in the land and prosper, feeding in safety.  Be delighted with the Lord.  Then he will give you all your heart's desires.  Commit everything you do to the Lord.  Trust him to help you do it and he will.  Verse 11:  But all who humble themselves before the Lord shall be given every blessing, and shall have wonderful peace.

Have a terrific day everyone!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!  Thank you God for giving us hope!

P.S.  Yes we are still working the the H.O.P.E. project.

I need some ideas from you all on how I can put prayer requests on here.  Do you think it would be okay to list them on the bottom of my posts?  I only post them if the person wants me to.  Some people do want me to ask you for prayer but they want to remain anonymous.  I am kind of thinking of like putting a few on everyday and changing them daily.  What are your thoughts? E-mail me if you want..... leslie@mgilbert.net

Good Monday morning!  How was everyone's weekend?  We had a great weekend.  I was able to catch up on some things at home, get a bunch of errands run and spend some fun time with the family.  Tyler did really well when we took him on Saturday to take his 6 month pictures.  I compared them to Jenna's pictures at the same age and they look like twins.  Here are a couple of them that he took.  I will post more this week.  The second one is probably my favorite.

I have a few prayer requests for my prayer warriors out there.  First my sister-in-law Lori is having her lumpectomy today.  Please pray that they can get all of the cancer out and that they come up with the best follow up treatment for her.  She is hoping that she just has to do radiation and not chemo too.  Also Angel Linda has a request for a 3 1/2 year old boy named Samuel Lindell who goes to her church that has leukemia.  He has been life flighted to a hospital in Pittsburgh because he spiked a fever, has a rapid heart rate and difficulty breathing.  His immune system numbers are at 0.  He is on antibiotics and they are trying to figure out where the infection is.  His family needs our prayers for strength too.  Also if you could continue praying for Bill Cartwright and Lorri Cavins.  THANK YOU to everyone for praying!

This afternoon Jenna and I are taking Tyler for his 6 month shots.  Oh it is so hard for this Nanie to see him cry when he gets them.  I am anxious to see how much weight he has gained and how much he has grown.

Psalms 35 verse 27b & 28: Great is the Lord who enjoys helping his child.  And I will tell everyone how great and good you are; I will praise you all day long.  Chapter 36 verse 7: How precious is your constant love, O God!  All humanity takes refuge in the shadow of your wings.  Verse 9: For you are the fountain of life; our light is from your Light.

Have a marvelous day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!  Dear God....please let your light shine out through us to others.

What kind of flowers are your favorite?
