My Child....I chose you when I planned creation.  ( Ephesians 1: 11-12 says......Moreover, because of what Christ has done we have become gifts to God that he delights in, for as part of God's sovereign plan we were chosen from the beginning to be his, and all things happen just as he decided long ago.  God's purpose in this was that we should praise God and give glory to him for doing these mighty things for us, who were the first to trust in Christ.

Good Wednesday morning!  Here we are in the month of June.  I have some fun things planned for this month as well as all of my medical tests.  Most of my June medical appointments have now been made.  My PET scan is on Saturday June 18th.  My appointment with my neurosurgeon Dr. Ott is on June 20th and my appointment with my oncologist Dr. McClay is on June 21st.  I still have to make my brain scan appointment.  Luckily Dr. Lean's office told us that she does not need to see me if I am seeing Dr. McClay.  She will get the report from him.  Although I love Dr. Lean, that saves me time...Thank you for your prayers for me.  I know your prayers are what honestly gets me through all of this.

Here is a picture of Taylor Aguilera and I at school yesterday.  In case you missed her picture in the on-line newspaper on Monday I wanted to show you this beautiful girl today.  She is getting closer to reaching her goal!

Thank you God, not just for life, but for our journey through life.  Life is a miracle, and a journey through life is so full of  many more miracles.  Thank you God for blessing me so that I can enjoy many more miracles.

Prayer requests:  Continued prayers for these children who are going through a lot with their health.  Pray for them a full recovery and for strength....Lorenzo, Jose, Samuel, Lincoln, Felicity, Aydin, Dereck, Electra, Jessica, Rylee and Alexandrea.  Pray for their parents as well.

Good Tuesday morning!  How is everyone doing?  Did you have a nice weekend?  The 3 days off went by so fast!  It was super windy in the Imperial Valley on Saturday and Sunday but the wind was gone yesterday and it was a beautiful day.  Mike and I had Tyler and we played and played outside.  We took him to a park too and he had a blast. 

On Sunday morning we had the priviledge to go and watch Jonathan Dale who has been a friend of our family for years preach a sermon.  He was awesome and we were so happy that we got to be there for that.  Who knew Jonathan, when your parents and Mike and I were watching you and Jenna playing together as toddlers, that we would actually be watching you preach from the pulpit one day?  Made our day!

I was so happy to see the article online from our local paper yesterday on Taylor Aguilera.  She is doing a wonderful thing to raise money for cancer research.  Thank you again Taylor from the bottom of my heart.  You have not only touched me but have touched so many others.  If you need help making bracelets, let me know.  I love mine.

Prayer requests:  Thank you for praying for a friend who had a Dr. appointment last week.  Now could you pray that the insurance company and the scheduling of the upcoming surgery will move quickly and smoothly.  Everyone's prayers were very much appreciated.  I have also had two people who would like prayer from the prayer warriors for something they wish to remain anonymous.  Hugs to you both.  Please know that there are people out there who care and will pray.

Not so much a question today but I am looking for wall hangings that have either the word HOPE on them or BELIEVE.  If you see one somewhere let me know.  I have an idea for a wall in my house.  I actually saw a beautiful one in a local restaurant and wanted to take it off the wall and bring it home with me.  hahaha.

I want to take the time to remember all the men and women who have died in service to protect our country and keep us safe and free.  To their families we all want to say thank you! Their sacrifice to our country is something none of us will ever take for granted or forget.  Thank you to all the men and women serving us right now.  May God bless you and keep you all safe.

Continue to pray for the people in our country who have been affected by the recent tornadoes.  Pray for restoration to be done quickly and for comfort and peace.

Good Friday morning!!  Yippee!!  Tomorrow is the start of a 3 day weekend for me!!  Looking forward to chilling out with the family and of course having my side kick Tyler with me on Monday.  Not counting today we have only 8 school days left with the kids and 9 for the staff.  June 10th is our last day.  Tonight I actually get to go and do some scrapbooking with some friends.  Scrapbooking is so fun and relaxing for me.  Can't wait!  I could probably scrapbook non-stop for a year and not get through my pile of pictures.  haha!

June is going to be quite a busy month for me medically.  I haven't made any appointments yet either.  That is something I have to work on this week.  I have to schedule a brain scan, full body PET scan, appointment with my neurosurgeon Dr. Ott, appointment with my oncologist Dr. McClay and an appointment with my radiation oncologist Dr. Lean.  That is enough to make my head spin.  My prayer requests are to of course hear nothing but great news and that the Cyber Knife treatments are working and the tumors are shrinking.  Pray for strong veins and that they find a vein on the first try.  I will let you know dates as soon as I make them.  I know I am dragging my feet on this but it is time to be done.  I know you are all praying for me and I appreciate that so much!  Thanks for keeping me encouraged.  There are days where I forget (sort of) that I am fighting this disease thanks to you all for the awesome things you do for me and the fact that I feel pretty good!  Praise God!
