My Child.....Even the very hairs on your head are numbered.  (Matthew 10: 29-31 says......Not one sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it.  And the very hairs on your head are numbered.  So don't worry!  You are more valuable to him than many sparrows.

Good Thursday morning!!  I have a huge prayer request for the woman named Bec who we have started to pray for to be healed from cancer.  She has had a pretty rough go of it this last week.  To let you know a little about her diagnosis...she was diagnosed with oral cancer.  But she has never ever smoked or anything.  It just came.  The Drs. are treating her cancer very aggressively.  She is on chemo once a week for 7 weeks and at the same time radiation 5 days a week for 7 weeks.  She has been through 3 weeks of it so far but it has taken a toll on her body.  She is facing MANY harsh side effects and is now in the hospital.  They have put a hold on further treatment until her blood counts get better and some of the side effects get resolved.  She is an amazing young lady with a strong faith in God and has a wonderful husband who has been taking great care of her and suppporting her.  Please pray that she will bounce back soon so they can continue the treatments and she can be done with all of this soon.  She and her husband cherish all the prayers.

WOOHOO on American Idol last night!  Oh yeah.....Scotty won!!  I stuck with him and he did it!  He is so sweet.  I really like Lauren too.  I think they will both have a great future!  So what's next for me to get hooked on?  Well Charger football is my fall T.V.  American Idol is my winter/spring T.V.  The Next Food Network Star is my summer T.V.  I will be on the lookout for that to start soon.

Prayer requests:  For someone who is having terrible problems with insomnia.  Pray that it gets better and that the problems causing it will resolve itself smoothly.  Also pray for peace and comfort and guidance for someone who got some bad news yesterday. Hugs to you.  Also for a friends Dr. appointment to go well today.

Colossians 2 verse 6: And now just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust him, too, for each day's problems; live in vital union with him.

My child....I am familiar with all your ways.  (Psalms 139 :3 says...You chart the path ahead of me, and tell me where to stop and rest.  Every moment, you know where I am.)--From God's Love Letter

Good Wednesday morning!! I am so excited about this coming Sunday!  The town of Imperial where I live has a wonderful little church named Imperial Community Church.  Our dear friends Mickey and Peggy Dale let us know that their son Jonathan will be preaching the sermon this Sunday.  I can't wait!  Mickey and Mike went to school in Imperial together and have known each other forever.  So we have known Jonathan since the day he was born.  He is like a year older then Jenna and went to school with her too.  Now we get to see this awesome young man of God deliver the sermon on Sunday!  Yay!  What is even more cool about this......for those that don't know.....Jonathan's grandpa, Pastor Jackson (Peggy's Dad) preached at this church for many years.  The joy that must be in Peggy's heart to go from seeing her Dad preach there for years and now to see her son is simply amazing.  What a fantabulous moment!  See you on Sunday Dale family.

American Idol was so good last night.  Both Scotty and Lauren did an amazing job!  I have no idea who will win tonight but you can't go wrong with either singer.  I know that both of them will have record deals.  I am still going to go all the way and say "Go Scotty!"  But seriously can't be sad if Lauren wins....they are both that good.  Can we just call it a tie?  haha!  It was very obvious last night that the judges want Lauren to win.  Her last song about mama's was wonderful.

Tyler obviously loved his piece of cake too.

Prayer requests:  Continued prayers for the families in parts of our country that have been devastated by the weather.  Also for the safety and protection of all the women and men who serve in our military.  Pray for their families as well.  Pray for our nation's leaders to seek God's wisdom and guidance as they lead our country.  I have actually been e-mailed by some families who have a loved one serving abroad and want to thank the prayer warriors here for remembering them in prayer.  It means a lot.

Romans 1 verse 17:  The Good News tells us that God makes us ready for heaven--makes us right in God's sight--when we put our faith and trust in Christ to save us.  This is accomplished from start to finish by faith.  As the scripture says it, "The man who finds life will find it through trusting God."

My Child......I know when you sit down and when you rise up.  (Psalms 139:2 says...You know when I sit or stand.  When far away you know my every thought.) ---From God's Love Letters

Good Tuesday morning.  Wow....it was super windy here again yesterday.  So happy that it stopped last week when Jeff graduated and for his party.  The count down is on for how many school days left.  Counting today there are only 12 more for the kids and 13 for the staff.  Yes!!  I am ready for some summer fun with our family.  Tonight is also the last night of competition on American Idol.  It is down to Scotty and Lauren.  We will know who the winner is tomorrow night.

A big thanks to all who are supporting Taylor's effort to sell her beautiful bracelets for cancer research.  Taylor's mom told me she has been busy.

Here are a couple of pics from Jeff's party Saturday.  This one is of some of the cousins.  Cyrus, (who is now officially taller then Jeff) Jenna, (who is obviously standing on a chair)haha! & Kayanna and Jeff.

I have another praise from answered prayer!  I had put out a request for someone who was going to be going through a rough time for awhile and needed prayers to get through and make some hard decisions.  Well what this person is going through is still tough but things are turning out way better then expected.  This person has asked if we could all continue to pray for their circumstance.

Prayer requests:  For all the people in our country who have been affected by the horrible weather.  Parts of our country have been hammered by tornadoes and rain and they need our prayers for comfort, help and restoration.  I can't imagine what a loss and devastation some are experiencing.  God bless each and every person in those areas that devote unselfishly their time to help.

Micah 6 verse 8: No, he has told you what he wants, and this is all it is: to be fair and just and merciful, and to walk humbly with your God.

My Child......You may not know me, but I know everything about you.  (Psalms 139 :1 says...O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.) --From God's Love Letters

Good Monday morning!!  How was your weekend?  What an awesome weekend we had!  Jeff's graduation party on Saturday went great.  We had a good time with family and friends and I was elated to be celebrating Jeff's accomplishments.  Thank you for all the beautiful cards and gifts that you have sent to Jeff.  I know he is grateful.  He has some awesome things that he is working on for the next step in his future.  He is clearly seeking God's direction in his life as he pursues what is next.  I will keep you updated as things progress.

Today I want to remember two people who meant so much to me in my life.  The first is my nephew Aaron who tragically passed away on this day in 2005 at the age of 17.  He was my older brother John's youngest son.  The other is our friend Bill Cartwright who also passed away on this day 1 year ago. Two people who hold a very special place in my heart and the hearts of those who knew and loved them so much.  They will both always be a part of us and we will never forget them.  I take comfort in knowing what wonderful lives they had, how much they loved their families, that God was at the center of their lives and can smile at all of the funny great memories that we have of them both.  May God continue to give comfort to everyone who has lost a loved one and may you continue to remember all of the wonderful times that you shared.

Here are some more graduation pictures...Jenna, Grandma Jodi and Jeff after the ceremony.

Prayer requests:  For Julie, a friend of my sister Monica's who got a blood and lung infection and is now in a drug induced coma.  She is very sick.  Please pray that the Drs. can get it under control and that she will fully and quickly recover.  Also for another lady who has been ill for awhile and now the Drs. think she has Lou Gehrig's disease.  Pray for her, her husband and family for strength as they go through this hard time.  Also for our Uncle Herb (Aunt Edith's hubby) who is having health problems.

Psalms 12 verse 6:  The Lord's promise is sure.  He speaks no careless word; all he says is purest truth, like silver seven times refined.

Good Saturday morning!  I have a huge PRAISE to announce!  Angel Linda commented yesterday that little 3 1/2 year old Samuel that we have been praying for just got back his latest bone marrow tests results and was declared CANCER FREE!!  Woohoo!!  I am happy dancing like crazy!  I am so happy for Samuel and his family.  That little guy endured  gruesome chemo treatments.  But please keep him in your prayers as he starts radiation this week.  Ahhhhh....the power of prayer!

Jeff's graduation was great!  The weather could not of been more perfect.  It had been blowing like crazy here all week but not on Thursday night.  After I saw Jeff walk across the stage and receive his diploma I looked up into the night sky and was thanking God for this moment.  I saw one bright twinkling star....just one.  It was like God was winking at me and was saying "your welcome."  So awesome!

Here are a few more pics from graduation.  Here is Jeff walking up to the stage.

I would like to wish my sister-in-law Noni a very "Happy Birthday" on Sunday!!  My brother Donald and Noni are on a cruise ship touring Alaska.  What a great birthday gift Noni!  Have a super fun time and take lots of pictures!

Prayer requests: For a friend who has a Dr. appointment Monday.  Pray for wisdom for the Dr. that he can help fix the problem.  For my friend to be pain free. For guidance, peace and wisdom for someone who is facing some very difficult circumstances right now.  Pray for relief to come soon and the strength to get through it.

2 Timothy 3 verses 16 & 17:  The whole bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right.  It is God's way of making us well prepared at every point, fully equipped to do good to everyone.

Read the bible in a year:  Today..... Ezra 1 - 3.  Sunday.....Ezra 4 -7.  Monday.....Ezra 8 - 10.

Have a relaxing and fun day and weekend everyone!!  See you on Monday!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!
