Good morning!  First I want to tell Clarissa Kelsoe that I am doing the Happy Dance for you too!  So happy to hear that your check up went great!  For those of you that don't know Clarissa had lukemia when she was in Kindergarten with me a few years ago and she has been in remission for 3 years now!!  Yeah Clarissa!  I love you girlie!  Clarissa and her mom Mircala have been my heros!  Clarissa is one of the srongest and sweetest girls that you will meet.

I am doing about the same.  Still am having side effect issues but I know that it just takes time for the poison to get out of my system.  I am keeping up with my walking though.  Today I am starting to prepare for a little family get together that we are having for my daughter Jenna tomorrow.  Some of our family couldn't make it to her graduation so we are having a post grad party for her tomorrow.  Mike is doing most of the work but I am so looking forward to having everyone over.  I love our family get togethers.  Thanks Noni for sending me a cleaning lady yesterday!  My house looks great and that is one less thing for me to worry about.  You are the best and I love you!

Thank you Aunt MaryAnn for the special gift!  You are so sweet and I love you!  Thanks everyone for the cards and flowers that you sent to celebrate the end of my chemo.  That was fun.  You are such wonderful encouragers to me.  The happy dance stories are hilarious!

Question of the day........What is your favorite holiday?  Mine is definitely Christmas!!

Good morning!  We have a date now for my pet scan.  It is Friday, June 27th.  This time I am having it done in Palm Springs.  It is much closer then the other place I was going to.  I don't know yet how long it will be after I am done that I will get the results, but it shouldn't be long.  I will probably be meeting with my oncologist sometime the following week.  Please keep me in your prayers as I prepare to do that test.  I still feel about the same today.  Not much change yet.  Will probably be at least a week before I really start to see some improvement.  I have been doing some slow walking.  I will try to do more and more of that so I can build back my strength.  Thanks for your continuous prayers.  Thanks also for your awesome comments.  I really appreciate that.  Have a great day!  God is Good!!!

Good Morning!!!  WHOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!  I am done with chemo!!!!  I was doing a lot of "Happy Dancing" last night.  Mike even lit some fireworks that we had to celebrate the occasion!  Praise God for getting me through this journey.  He gave me the strength that I didn't even think I had.  He is my rock.  What an incredibile and amazing 6 months this had been.  It was by far the hardest 6 months of my life.  But I made it!  BUT.........I could not of done it with out all of your prayers, love, encouragement and support.  I still need all of those things and I am so grateful to all of you for continually giving them to me.  My prayer request now is to start gaining strength again and that all of the side effects go away quickly.  I do have a date for my pet scan but they have to confirm it today so I will let you know tomorrow.

Question of the day.......Are you a morning or a night person??  I am definitely a morning person.

Good morning!  Well the big day is finally here.  I can't believe it.  This is my last day of chemo!!!!  So tonight at 8:00 is when I take my last dose and that is when me and my whole family will be doing the "Happy Dance"!!  I want you all to be doing the "Happy Dance" with me.  So at 8:00 tonight where ever you are I want you to start dancing and then share your story with me.  It's a night of celebration!  Not a moment too soon either.  The medicine has really taken a toll on my body.  Yesterday afternoon nausea reared it's big ugly head and i had to take a stronger anti-nausea drug which made me sleep for about 5 hours straight .  There are also some other side effects that I am really struggling with so I hope to see an improvement by the end of the week.

Thanks for your prayers!!!  I will continue to blog until I get the results of my first scan.  Still don't have a date yet.  After my first scan I will update you probably once or twice a week on how I am doing.  I will miss this blog.  It has really been a great thing for me and I hope for you too.  I am so glad that you all came on this journey with me.Your strength and support are simply amazing.  God is so Good!!!

Question of the day.......How many siblings do you have?  I have 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Good morning!  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Yesterday was fun.  The whole Gilbert family took my father-in-law to breakfast and then we went to church.  Mike and I then came home for a while so I could rest then we were off to Jenna and Ryan's.  Jenna cooked a fabulous dinner for Mike (She is an awesome cook) and we hung out, laughed a lot and watched a movie.  Totally a fun and relaxing day for Mike.  We definitely spoiled him.

Well I only have 2 more days of chemo left and I am ready to do a HUGE happy dance!  I still don't have my date yet for my pet scan.  They are working on it.....you know waiting on the insurance company for approval and stuff.  They expect it to be this week or next week.  I will let you know as soon as I do.  Please keep me in your prayers as I get ready to go and do that test.  I have every faith that God has healed me.  I would also like to ask for prayers to get my strength back.  I am still weak and tired.  As soon as I am done with the chemo it should improve.....but at a slow pace.

Thanks for all of your continued support and prayers.  I am so grateful for them.  It's not over yet......but will be soon.  Love you all.  God is so Good!!
