Good morning! Wow!! I had a great time last night! We all had so much fun! The best part.......the Padres won! They beat the Chicago Cubs. I felt great last night. We were blessed to be sitting in a box that was already catered with good food. I ate, stood up and sang "Take me out to the ball game" in the 7th inning stretch and I even had some peanuts and Cracker Jacks! I want to thank my sister's friend Lori Koscki for hosting such a wonderful and fun evening for me and my family. You are so sweet! Thanks also Lori for the Padre hat. I love it!

Only 13 more days left of chemo! Only 6 more days left till Kindergarten graduation. I can't wait!

Question of the day........Coffee or Tea? I am a coffee girl. My favorite Starbucks drink is a hot or cold caramel macchiatto. mmmmm.......I haven't had one of those in a while. I think I need to go and get me one. :) I love to drink iced sun tea but only drink hot tea when I have a sore throat.

Good morning!  I finally got to get out of the house on my own yesterday.  It was great!  I  ran a couple of errands and I got to visit my favorite lady Sharon at the scrapbook store.  I even went by my daughter Jenna's house for lunch.  I hit another milestone yesterday too.  For 4 months I haven't been allowed to eat a salad because the risk of bacteria (especially in the lettuce) was too high.  Well yesterday I got the green light from the Dr. that it was okay now and that I don't have anymore food restrictions on me.  Well for dinner last night I had the biggest chefs salad that you have seen!  It was so good!  I can now eat whatever fruit I want too.  Strawberries don't stand a chance around me now!  :) 

We are very excited to be going to a Padre game tonight!  I am looking forward to having some fun in San Diego now......no more pain!  I will tell you all about it tomorrow.  Please pray for my strength.  Thanks!

Question of the day.......Sweet or Salty???  I will eat a salty snack over a sweet one every single time.

Good morning!  Yesterday I just kind of hung out all day and did a whole lot of nothing.  I am still dealing with a few side effects and some days are better then others.  Will you please pray that these side effects will go away and that my strength will get better each day.  I am actually going to go and run a few errands by myself today.  I haven't driven in over a month and I am so ready to go out on my own a do a few things.  15 more days left of chemo!!

To Mrs. Hargrove's students - Ian, Danielle and Alicia.......thank you for sending the cute pictures!  You are all so beautiful and I thank you for your continued prayers and encouragement!  Mrs. Hargrove is awesome!

Good morning!  Well I did not make it to the movies yesterday like I thought i would.  After getting ready for church, going to church, staying for a pancake breakfast and then stopping by Target on the way home I was way too tired to venture out anymore.  Mike has some days off this week so we will probably go then and hit an early show.  It was awesome to be back in church and surrounded by my church family who have been so incredibily supportive to me and my family.  Fellowship with your church family is so important!

I have 16 more days of taking chemo.    I am praying that it passes by fast.  I am so ready to do the celebratory "Happy Dance"!!  Still don't have a date yet on when my next body scan is but should know soon.

I have some fun news to share.  My sister's friend Lori was generous enough to donate a box for us to sit in and enjoy at Petco Park this Wednesday night to watch a Padre game.  My whole family is going and it will be so nice for once to be going to San Diego for a little fun this time and not for more pain.  I'll  let you know how that went on Thursday.

Question of the day....Where were you born?  I was born in Indiana but moved to California when I was 9 months old and have been here ever since.

Good Morning!  Wow!  It is June 1st!  For me time has and has not flown by.  I am just praying that the next 17 days fly by because that will be the end of my chemo!  I am soooooo ready to be done!  I had a good day yesterday.  I helped Jenna and Mike with VBS decorations for our church (the theme this year is "Power Lab", should be a lot of fun!) and my brothers-in-law Greg and Bryan hosted a family BBQ for me last night.  It was great to be out and to have some fun.  I ate a ton!  They know how to cook!  I am off to church this morning and hopefully a movie this afternoon.  Have a relaxing and fun Sunday.  God is Good!!!
