Good Saturday morning!!  I had another awesome night at VBS last night.  It is all done now.  Lots of kids and lots of fun!  I am not feeling my best but was so happy that I felt well enough to help out two nights.  You know me....I love kids!

What is everyone up to today?  Anyone doing anything special this weekend?  What ever it is I hope you have a great time!

Good morning!  It is Friday!!  Yipee!!  Yesterday was great!!  First I went with Jenna to her appointment for another ultrasound of the baby.  He is so cute and is very healthy and doing good!  I can't wait for the day that I can hold that little guy in my arms.  I am a very excited Nanie!

Then VBS last night was a blast!  I had a great time and was so happy to be there helping out.  The group of little girls that I worked with last night were just awesome!  If you have a VBS coming in your area be sure to send the kids.  They will love it!

I am thanking God for keeping me busy and my mind busy till Monday!  My body is starting to feel even better now that I have been off of the chemo for a while.  It takes a while for the side effect issues to go away though.  I plan on going to VBS again tonight to help out and have myself running around today.  Working on stuff for Father's Day for Mike.

Again thank you for your continued prayers for me. Thanks for all of the cards, e-mails,  phone calls and comments here on the blog encouraging me!   I feel God's peace.  I feel God holding my hand. I am blessed!  Have a super fun day!  Today is another gift and God is so Good!!

Good morning!  How is everyone today?  I am still feeling a real peace from God about everything.  Thank you for your prayers.  I had some lab work done on Tuesday and received the results to that yesterday.  My platelets have dropped even more.  The normal range for platelets is between (140-440).  Mine are now at 49.  They will do chemo only if they stay above 100.  I may be looking at a platelet transfusion next week.  Please keep my levels in your prayers.  I really want to be able to start my chemo again in two weeks so I can get this last round done!  My red blood cells and hemoglobin dropped out of range too.  At least my white cell count is still looking good. I am not going to stress over all of this because I know that God is in control and will do eveything in His perfect timing.

Looks like Mike will be busy with jury duty next week.  As he was telling me that he can't go with me on Monday to my neurosurgeons appointment (which by the way is killing him) the phone rang.  It was my friend Terrie Olstowski calling to say that she wanted to get together and do something before she leaves for Texas the end of next week.  I said well how does going to San Diego on Monday sound?  She was all for it so now I have someone to take me and go with me.  God's timing is just incredible!!

Today I get to see another ultra sound of my grandson.  Very excited about that.  I will be going to the church tonight to help out with VBS some too.  Can't wait!

Good morning!  Thank you all for praying so much for me yesterday.  The MRI brain scan went fine.  Everything went really smooth.  Now it is the hard part......the waiting game for the results.  I still have a real peace about it all but of course it consumes my thoughts sometimes.  Me staying busy will help a lot so that is what I plan on doing.  Jenna and I are already working on Father's Day plans for Mike.  Can you believe that it is already this Sunday?  Time is just flying by!

Thank you Mickey and Peggy Dale for all of the fun and laughs last night.  It was the best medicine that Mike and I needed after being at the hospital all afternoon.  Took our minds completely off of it.  We laughed so hard our sides hurt.

Well Mike is off today and we are going to work on some projects around the house this morning before he has to report in for Jury Duty.  Yep......they finally called him in this afternoon.  Hopefully he won't have to stay long.

Good morning!  As I have been telling you all along today is my brain MRI.  My appointment is at 1:30.  I won't know any results until I see my Neurosurgeon on Monday.  I would like to ask you for a couple of things to pray for.  One being that everything goes smooth today with the test.  Second,  waiting for the results is the hardest part of this whole thing. Right now I have a real peace in my heart about it because I feel like God has healed me.   Mike and I both tend to get a little anxious waiting for the results. So please keep praying for no anxiety and to have peace.  I know that is why I am feeling so good about things today.......because you are all praying for me.

Also could you pray for Mike's cousin Stan and his wife Amy and their new born baby girl.  She had to be delivered a month early by c-section and she is having some health problems.  Pray that the Drs. figure out exactly what it is and how to fix it and that she will be strong enough for the procedure.

Kimberly Phillips.....So happy that your kids loved VBS last night!  I will be helping Jenna some on Thursday and Friday so I will get to see Emily!  (See Kim's sweet comment in yesterdays post) So happy that Joshua had a great time too.
