Good morning!!  Mike and I both slept like a rock last night.  Let me first say that WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!  I am done with the third round of six chemo treatments.  Doing the happy dance here.  Yes........I do have a two week break which I am so thankful for.  BUT.........my platelet levels dropped severely again.  The Dr.  went ahead and administered the last treatment at a reduced amount but now I have to go to the hospital on Thursday and have my blood drawn.  If my levels have dropped anymore then I have to get a blood platelet transfusion on Friday or Saturday.  The thought of all that makes me "sigh" but I am willing to get it done if it means that the platelets will rise and I can finish my last chemo round on time.  I do not want to look at any longer break then two weeks.  I am just so ready to get all of this done and behind me.  I do know though that everything works best in God's time.   Thanks for keeping me in your prayers.  I sure could use them for strength.  Also prayers for great results for my brain MRI that I will be having on Tuesday.

Congratulations to all the Kindergarteners who are graduating at Waggoner school this morning!  Wish I could be there.  I will be by tomorrow to say good bye and hear all about it.

My Aunt MaryAnn had a great question in the comments yesterday.  She and I would both love to hear your answers.  The question is:  Name 5 things that you can't eat just one of.  Mine would be:  Ruffles potato chips, double stuffed Oreo cookies,  peanut M&M's, strawberries and french fries.  I love you Aunt MaryAnn!!!

Update:  This is Monica giving you a quick update...it is a good to go with Leslie.  She is getting the last of her six week treatment before her two week break.  Please continue to pray that her levels stay up!  Leslie will update you more when she gets home.

Good morning!  I did not get my blood drawn yesterday.  The reason being that the nurse that does it for me every week is on vacation.  So we lined up another nurse and she ended up not going to work.  I can't have just any nurse.....it has to be one experienced in accessing my port.  So off I go to San Diego this morning not knowing if my levels are good enough for this treatment or not.  If they say no..............well then Mike and I will just have a nice lunch and come back home.  Please pray that my levels will be good enough to squeeze this one more treatment in before my two week break.  We will come on here later and let you know what ended up happening.  My appointment is at 10:00.  Thanks everyone!!

Good morning!  The weekend seemed to fly by fast!  This week is full for me and my family too.  Lots of things going on for us this week.  I may or may not be getting my blood drawn today (long story) but if I do I will be back on later with an update on the results.  If I don't end up getting it done today I will still be heading out to San Diego tomorrow and they will do it in the Drs. office and decide if it is a go for one more treatment of chemo. I know that I hate the thought of going all the way up there for them to tell me no.....but it can't be helped this time. I am just praying that the levels look great.   I do know for sure that I have only one more week left of the oral chemo drugs and then get a two week break.  I am so very ready for that!  One thing that I have been experiencing lately is some anxiety.  Not sure why I am having it but if you could pray for me that it goes away I would really appreciate it. 

Thanks everyone for your great suggestions on hotels and restaurants by the beach.  Mike and I are hoping that in August when the chemo is done and it's going to be our 27th wedding anniversary,  that we could go to the beach for a few days.  We have stayed at some great places before but I was looking for something different this time.  Hey Terrie O......I would love to stay at the Hotel Del!!  That was so fun!

Hey Waggoner staff......have a great last week of school!  I am coming on Thursday to say good bye to the kids.  Can't wait to see them and you all!!

When is the last time you took a picture of your family??  Your kids??  I take pictures every week.  My grandson will be the most photographed baby ever when he gets here.  I love to take pictures!

Good Sunday morning and what a beautiful Sunday it is!  Even though we have had a lot of wind it has kept things much cooler here the last few days.  I had a blast in San Diego yesterday.  So glad I went.  I am all in to the newest, latest things that are out there for babies, and Michelle received some really cool things.  Makes me even more excited for when my grandson gets here.

Today I am off to church and then kicking back the rest of the day.  Will probably do some scrapbooking.  Tomorrow is when I go in to the hospital and get my bloodwork checked to see if the levels are good enough to have my last chemo treatment for this round on Tuesday.  Thank you for your prayers on that.   Just one more left in this round and I would love to get it done.  Then 2 weeks off and 1 more round of 6.  I am getting so close.

Good Saturday morning!!  How is everyone today?  Hope you are enjoying your weekend.  I am off to San Diego with my friends Lisa Alloway and Peggy Severe to go to a friends baby shower.  Looking forward to seeing Michelle and relaxing and laughing with the girls.

I am loving the weather right now.  The wind not so much, but if it keeps it as cool as it has been I'll take the wind.  It was so windy at the girls powder puff game last night but was so much fun to watch.  The Juniors and Seniors tied.
