Good Friday morning!  Wow...........it is super windy here.  The wind last night was awful!  I hope it dies down soon.  After taking life easy the last two days and resting, I am full of energy today.  There is a closet in my house that I have been wanting to clean out so maybe I will start on that today.  Tonight I am going to Imperial High School's powder puff  football game.  My son-in-law Ryan's two sister's Julie and Trisha are playing as well as my niece Kayanna and our good friend Sierra.  I am bringing my camera for this one.  Can't wait to watch you girls in action!

I have an appointment now for my brain MRI.  It is on June 16th.  I then go to my neurosurgeon in San Diego on June 22 for the results.  Please pray that all the tumors are gone now and that there are no new ones.  I won't have my full body PET scan until the end of July.  Could you also keep some friends of ours, the Brooke Family,  whose son Brandon passed away yesterday in your prayers for strength, peace and comfort.  Thank you!

So what are your weekend plans?  For some of you I know school is already out for your kids but here we go till next Thursday.  Lots of end of the school year activities going on.  Fun stuff!

Good morning!!  I am feeling better today.  I slept much better last night.  The side effect issue is still there unfortunately but I really can't complain.  I did eat my mexican food though!  Ha!  It looks like a lot of you did too!  Yummy isn't it?  We ended up having homemade enchiladas, beans, rice, chips and fresh salsa.  I will so be all over that today again!  Today we will make some guacamole too.

Isn't it just amazing how God provides for us just when we need it?  I am talking about everything.  Thanks everyone for being here for me and my family and for keeping us encouraged and in your prayers.  You all have helped us out in so many ways I can't even begin to tell you.  This has been an incredibly loooooooong journey but you have stuck by us and keep us uplifted.  What a huge blessing you are to us!  Not a day goes by that we don't get blessed in some incredible way. So THANK YOU!!!!  We see God working in so many ways it is so exciting!

Today Mike is off again so he is making sure that I behave somewhat and rest. He has been letting me give him some honey do lists and boy is he getting lots done!  Love it!

Good morning!  I didn't sleep too good last night.  Just wasn't feeling too good.  So the plan of action today is to do nothing.  Just rest.  It will drive me crazy but I know I need to do it.  For those of you that might of missed my update yesterday, everything went well with the chemo.  My problem is my platelet count took a huge loss.  It is now on the border and if it falls anymore there will be no chemo next week and another delay.  So please continue to keep me in prayer over that and also the one side effect that I have to deal with has been a big problem for me lately.  I know all of this has to do with the build-up of the chemo again.  Only 1 more left in this round and 7 total!!  We are counting down!

Thank you Jessica Silva for bringing by the totally fabulous home made salsa!  I ate a ton of salsa and chips yesterday!  Thanks for the fun visit and for making me laugh!

Ooohhh I have been craving mexican food lately!  Guess what Mike will be doing today?? UPDATE:  Hey everyone!  We are home.  Everything went fine today except when they ran my bloodwork the platelets took a big drop from last week.  If that happens again this week there won't be any chemo next week.  So please pray that they don't go down anymore this week so I can finish this round of chemo.  Only 1 more to go in this round!  Have a great evening!!  God is Good!!

Good morning!!  Well Mike and I are heading off to San Diego in a few minutes.  My chemo appointment is at 10:00.  Please pray for it to go smooth and for the time to pass by quickly!  Thank you so much!  We will update you on how it all went when we get back this afternoon.

I also got the chance yesterday to go with Jenna for another ultra sound of the baby.  I was in heaven!  He is so cute already!  He is growing and has a healthy heart beat.  Now THOSE are the kind of Dr. appointments I like going to! :)

Good Morning!  Wow.....it is June 1st!  The time this year has flown by.  We had a blast at Universal Studios on Saturday.  Here are a few random pictures that we took while we were there.

All in all it was a fabulous day and I did really well.  We love to take a lot of fun and goofy pictures!  I was exhausted when the day was over but so happy that I went.  Thank you for your prayers for me because it has helped me so very much.  I seem to be handling this reduced round of chemo so much better and am able to function better.  No blood work for me today but do have my chemo in San Diego tomorrow.

I also want to thank Lisa Alloway and the entire Waggoner staff for one of the best presents that I have ever received.  Lisa brought by a scrapbook yesterday afternoon made by her and every Waggoner staff member that I work with.  What a beautiful book!  You all inspire me so much!  I bawled my way through the whole book.  Thank you all for taking the time to do that!!  Can't begin to tell you what that meant to me. It is a book that I will treasure always and your words will stay in my heart.   I love you all and am working hard to be able to start the new school year with you!  I miss you so much!  You are the best!!
