Good Friday morning!  How has your week been going?  My week has been busy and fun.  Tonight is the last night of Vacation Bible School at our church.  It has been great!  Nothing like seeing 250 kids excited to learn more about Jesus!  We have the best volunteer workers!

I also had lots of Tyler time.  It is wonderful to see what babies get so excited over.  Just the littlest things.  He puts a smile on my face constantly.  Mike and I are going to take him out today and buy him a little kiddie swimming pool.  You know I will get pictures of him in that.

Here is a picture I took of Tyler with my cell phone.  He looks like he is trying to text someone.  ha! ha!

This is the best feeling in the world.  A sleeping baby on your shoulder.  I thank God for moments like this.

Congratulations to our friends Mickey and Peggy Dale on the birth of their grandson Noah Charles Dale - 6lbs 14oz.  Parents are Tommy and Rachel Dale.  Very exciting!!

I would like to wish my mother-in-law Jodi a very "Happy Birthday" today!  Have a super fun day with your family in Idaho.

Denise R......girl.....you crack me up!!  I was totally laughing out loud!  Thanks buddy!  You always know how to make a girl feel better!

Prayer requests:  a dear friend of mine's grandma is having some health issues.  Please pray that they figure out the best way to take care of her and that she will be well soon. Also for Teresa Gow who is getting the results to her latest PET scan today....praying that it is clear.  Continued prayer for my friend Stacey's health.   Also pray that my brother-in-law Gregg will find a job soon.

I didn't have my MRI done yesterday.  Been postponed until Monday afternoon.  Works better for me.  Thanks for praying everyone.

Psalms 145 verses 17, 18 & 19  The Lord is fair in everything he does, and full of kindness.  He is close to all who call on him sincerely.  He fulfills the desires of those who reverence and trust him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them.

Good Thursday morning!  Praise God in the morning when you see the sun rising....praise God in the evening because he got you through the day....and in the in between times when you feel the pressure coming.....remember that He loves you and He promises to stay!

Well I have an update on my foot.  Remember when I told you  last month that it was hurting?  Well it has never gone away and is still swollen (just a little area on the top of my foot, next to my toes).  Yeah I know.....hiking around Sedona I am sure did not help it.  Well I saw the orthopedic surgeon today.  After a regular x-ray and a cat scan, he has now ordered an MRI.  I have an appointment today at 3:30 to get that done.  I will then see him on Wednesday for the results.  So far he can't see anything wrong but there is something irritated  because it is swollen.  The possibilities are damaged soft tissue or ligaments or a stress fracture that they can't see.  I think because I have a history of cancer they are concerned and want to make sure it isn't a tumor.  So I am putting it out there,  that if you could all be praying that it is nothing serious and will heal very soon.  It is hard for me to go through this.  Brings back painful memories.  God is holding my hand and I am staying positive.  Will keep you updated.

Evelyn S. - you are so right.....great milestones!  Terrie O.....I know you are having a blast in Texas spoiling your girls.  Take lots of pictures!  Tell Aunty Alexa we want to see another movie clip of the twins on FB.

Good Wednesday morning!  Thank you all for praying for me yesterday.  Everything went well with my melanoma shot and I am feeling fine.  Only two more to go and I am done!  WooHoo!  I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.  I continue to thank God for all of you.  You keep me so encouraged!  Thanks for all the e-mails and text messages.

Great news from my brother John on his wife Lori!!  They did one more surgery and this time the test came back that they finally got all of the cancer!  We are "happy dancing" in this family!  She will still have chemo, radiation or both.....they don't know yet.  They are waiting to hear from the Dr.  Thank you all so very much for praying for Lori.  Praise our wonderful God!

Vacation Bible School is going great this week at our church.  Lots of kids!  I am having so much fun with them.  If you have kids that are between the grades K thru 5th grade and they are bored, bring them on over. Starts at 6:00 p.m. till 8:45 p.m.  The kids have a blast. We have had over 200 a night come so far.  Michelle...you are doing a fabulous job over seeing the whole thing!

Good Monday morning!  How was your weekend?  Mike and Ryan had a very nice and fun Father's Day.  Here is a picture of the gang all together.

Tonight is the start of Vacation Bible School at our church.  I am very excited to be helping with it this year.  I love having fun with the kids.  I hadn't really been able to participate much the last two years so it is such a blessing for me to be able to have fun with it this year.

Mike and I are headed up to San Diego tonight after VBS to Monica and Gregg's to spend the night and then back off to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach tomorrow morning for another melanoma vaccine shot and blood draw.  So I won't be blogging tomorrow but will be back here on Wednesday.  Please pray that everything will go well for me tomorrow.  By the way Gregg......can't wait for the homemade crepes for breakfast!  I want to learn how to make those.

So nice to talk to you Samantha and Linda!  Loved hearing about your trip to Philadelphia.  Can't wait to hear more and see pictures.

Prayer requests:  That my friend Christie and our Aunt Evelyn sell their houses soon.  Also have some requests for healing from depression.  That they will find peace and feel joy in their lives again.  That the situation that is getting them so depressed will resolve itself soon.

Good Saturday morning!!  Mike and I had a wonderful day with Tyler yesterday.  We SPOILED him with lots of attention and hugs and kisses.  Here is a picture of him that I took yesterday.  If you look real hard you can see his first tooth just popping through.  Look at those eye lashes too.  My brown eyed cutie!

Got lots going on this weekend.  Jenna and I are headed to Jonathan and Nora Dale's baby shower today.  They are expecting a little boy in a few weeks.  We are so happy for them and for the grandparents, Mickey & Peggy.  Mick and Peg's other son Tommy and his wife Rachel are expecting a son in just a couple of weeks also.  Exciting and fun times lay ahead  for the Dale family!  Nora and Rachel.....you are in my prayers daily for an easy, fast and healthy delivery.

Good luck to Samantha Morgan today on her Jeopardy semi-final.  Thinking about you lots today.  Can't wait to hear how it went.

Since I won't be blogging tomorrow I want to wish a "Happy Father's Day" to my Dad and my Father-in-law!  Hope you have a wonderful day!  Happy Father's Day also to Mike and Ryan!!  Jenna, Jeff, Tyler and I plan on spoiling them both tomorrow.  Got a fun dinner planned for  them!  HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to ALL of the Dad's out there!  May God bless you all!

I had my SPF 100 sunscreen on all the time and when I wasn't taking a picture I carried an umbrella over me too.  Everyone we met along the trails kept saying I was the smartest person out there.  So many people were getting so sunburned. Please wear sunscreen everyone!  I am begging you.  I don't want anyone going through what I did.  

Please pray for comfort those who will have a hard time celebrating Father's Day tomorrow because of the passing of their Father's.  I pray that you will all remember the joyous and fun times that you shared with your Dad's.
