Good Friday morning!  Doing the "Happy Dance" because after work today I start my summer vacation!  Yay!  The last day of school yesterday with the kids was great!  I ate lots of junk food, signed yearbooks and received lots of good-bye hugs.  I will miss all the munchkins.  We start back to school at the end of August and I know this summer will fly by and I will be seeing them all before I know it.

Went to the Jr. High graduation last night to see my nephew and lots of our friends kid's graduate.  The ceremony is held outside and of course it was windy.  It wouldn't be graduation without the wind. lol :)  At least it kept things cooler.  It was nice and we had a good time!  Tonight we go to Imperial High School's graduation to see my niece Kayanna, my son-in-law Ryan's sister Tricia and several other's that we know graduate.

Look at how my grandbaby can sit up all by himself now.  He is so much fun!

Prayer requests:  Can we all take time today to pray for those friends, family and co-workers who are going through some really tough, even horrible things right now?  That they will have wisdom and guidance on what they should do and how to handle it.  I pray for all of them right now, that they will feel God holding them in the palm of his hand and holding them close to his heart.  I pray that they will feel peace and know that there is someone thinking about them and cares.

Psalms 117:  Praise the Lord, all nations everywhere.  Praise him, all the peoples of the earth.  For he loves us very dearly, and his truth endures.  Praise the Lord.

Good Thursday morning!!  Last day of school for the kids!  Last day for the staff is tomorrow.  Then it is summer vacation!  Yes!!!  We will be cheering tonight as my nephew Cyrus graduates from Jr. High as well as many other kids I know. 

I had a super day yesterday at school.  Kindergarten graduation was great and the kids were so cute!  Here is a picture of me and some of my co-workers after graduation.  What an awesome bunch of ladies to work with!  (Lisa, Jessica, Netty, me, Bethany, Carla and Shelly).

Here is a picture of me and my boss Roger Ruvalcaba.  He was a huge support to me while I was so sick and continues to be.  I can't thank him enough. 

The 4th graders also performed songs yesterday afternoon and did an amazing job!  Loved it! Fantastic job Gina, Amy Bo., Amy and Juan!

I found myself constantly thanking God yesterday for being healthy again and being there at school today.  For the last two spring seasons I wasn't able to be at school and see all of the year end stuff.  What pure joy it was for me this year!  Soooooooo thankful!

I want to wish my friend Lacey Jones a very "Happy Birthday" today!!  Have a super fun day Lacey!!

Good Wednesday morning!  Woohoo.....only two more days of school left before summer vacation!!  I will miss the kids a lot but am ready for a break.  This morning we have kindergarten graduation.  The kids are so cute and some of their personalities just crack me up.  It will be a fun morning.

Have you all been watching the news this past week on the recent developments on the success they are having in treating melanoma cancer?  Several of the vaccine programs like the one I am in right now are seeing some amazing things.  They are so close.....please pray that the cure is here soon.  Will you please continue to pray that the program I am in works and that I am one of their success stories?  I go back up to Hoag for my next shot on June 22nd.  It has been absolutely wonderful going a few weeks with NO MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS!

Good Tuesday morning! What an extra-ordinary God we have.  Even though we sometimes can't see his whole plan for our lives we know that his plan is perfect.  The journey he has taken us on in our lives is amazing.  I pray constantly that he uses the great and sometimes painful circumstances in our lives to help others.  A lot of things that we have been through in the past, shapes us into the people we are today.

I wanted to let you all know that Cathy passed away and went home to be with the Lord yesterday.  During these last two weeks of pain and difficult breathing she kept her faith & trust in God, her positive outlook and genuine sweetness.  She will be greatly missed.  The family thanks you all for your prayers for Cathy and asks for continued prayer for strength and comfort.  Here is a beautiful picture of Cathy. 

The school countdown is on....only 3 more school days left!  The staff and kids are ready!  It is so HOT here right now.  107+.  Summer....here we come!  I am also glad that voting day is finally here.  Are you all getting hit with tons of political phone calls too?  It's insane!  I'll be glad when that stops.

Going to a baby shower for Caryn Rubio this afternoon.  She is another co-worker of mine and she is having a girl also.  This is her 3rd child and the other two are boys so she is pretty excited about this one coming.  I have kindergarten graduation tomorrow, Jr. High graduation on Thursday and High School graduation on Friday.  Mike and I are packing on Saturday to leave on a trip to Sedona, Arizona for a few days of R&R.  We will be taking off on Sunday.  Anyone ever been to Sedona?  Any must sees?  I hear that slide rock is awesome and that they have some nice hiking trails.  So excited about this trip!  My sister will do some guest blogging for me while I am gone. Here is Mr. Cool Tyler waving "hello" to everyone!

Good Monday morning!  How was your weekend? I am praising and thanking God for my family and friends who are a treasure to us.  We do not take them for granted........but look at them as such a huge blessing from above.  We are at the start of another crazy fun week.  I have been talking to lots of people recently and they seem to have crazy schedules right now as well.

We had a very nice weekend.  The birthday party that we attended was lots of fun and watching Tyler enjoy it was great.  Tyler even got his first official "goodie" bag to take home. I ran into an old friend there too.  So nice to see her and catch up.  Then we were off to my niece Kayanna and nephew Cyrus' graduation party.  Not only did we have a great time hanging with the family and friends but the food was awesome!  I ate so much again that I couldn't breathe.  ha! ha!  Homemade special quesadillas, homemade tamales, homemade chips and guacamole etc.... etc......see what I mean?  Had to have a little of everything.  Here is a picture of some of the cousins together. (Cyrus, Kayanna, Jeff & Jenna)  No.....Jenna isn't that tall....she was standing on her tippy toes so she didn't look so short. :) lol

I also got a chance this weekend to hang out with my son Jeff and some of his friends and watched the movie Avatar. I didn't know what to expect and had no idea what it was about.   It was a very interesting movie and the special effects were incredible.  I have to say that I liked it.  Probably should of seen it in a theater but it was still good.

My prayer request today is one for a relative on Mike's side of the family, Cathy Workman.  For those of you who may not know she is a beautiful 38 year old wife and mother who is battling a very fast growing cancer. The Lord is calling her home and it will be any time now.  Could you please keep her husband Chris and their two young children, Steven and Lori in your prayers for strength and comfort.   My heart is yet breaking again.  We love you Workman family. 

Psalms 106 verses 1, 2 & 3:  Hallelujah!  Thank you, Lord!  How good you are!  Your love for us continues on forever.  Who can ever list the glorious miracles of God?  Who can ever praise him half enough?  Happiness comes to those who are fair to others and are always just and good.
