Good Saturday morning!!  How is everyone doing?  I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far.  What a fabulous time we had at the surprise baby shower for a co-worker of mine Sonia Falkenstein.  It was so much fun!  So beautifully decorated and the food was awesome.  I ate so much I couldn't breathe.  ha! ha!  Thank you Christina Santos for opening up your home and hosting the shower.  Thanks also to the other wonderful hostesses Randi, Carmen, Amy, Chris and Sylvia.  Here is a picture of the beautiful mommy to be Sonia and me.  She is having a girl named Kendall.

We have another two parties to attend today.  A graduation party and a birthday party.  Busy and fun time of the year for us.  But you know what?  I wouldn't want it any other way.  I thank God everyday for my family and friends and being able to share in and celebrate special things in their lives.  At the end of the day you reflect back on it and realize it was all so worth it!

I would like to wish a very "Happy Birthday" to my niece Aimee Stiegemeyer who is celebrating a birthday tomorrow.  Have a spectacular day Aimee!!

Prayer requests: Cathy, Jaime, Wayne,  Lorri, Teresa & Lori-cancer, Victor-life, anonymous-depression,  that the WCT Townsel fundraiser today is a huge success for the family and comfort for all the families that have lost a loved one.

Psalms 104: 33&34--I will sing to the Lord as long as I live.  I will praise God to my last breath! May he be pleased by all these thoughts about him, for he is the source of all my joy.

Have a super weekend everyone!!  Have fun and I will see you on Monday.  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!

Don't you just love cream cheese and crackers?  It was one of the appetizers that I ate yesterday at the shower but it had a chipolte-raspberry sauce on it that was amazing!   I could of ate the whole thing.  They sell it at Costco.  Yummo!  Go get some and try it. :)

Good Thursday morning!  What a fun night we had last night!  We went to a surprise retirement party for David Middleton.  He is my son-in-law Ryan's Dad.  He taught P.E. and coached for Central Union High School's baseball team for many years. In fact, David was my P.E. teacher in high school.  :)   So they had his party on the baseball field and played a game in his honor.  Enjoy your retirement Dave!

Yesterday at school the 4th grade had a show with famous California missions on display.  Very good job 4th grade!  I was impressed!  Also on the same day the 5th grade students had their annual wax museum show.  Loved it!!  They pick any famous person from the past and dress just like that character and they can tell you all about that person.  Both are so worth all the work you put into it and I really appreciated seeing it!

Here is a picture of Tyler standing up for his momma.  He is giving us his gummy smile.

I would like to wish a very "Happy Birthday" to Bethany Shirley!!  Have a wonderful day Bethany!  Wishing you a day full of fun!

Prayer requests:  anonymous people with serious marriage issues, Ron, Cathy, Jaime, Father Ruben, Wayne-cancer and comfort for families who are mourning a loved one.  I got all of the prayer requests yesterday.....I am praying!

Psalms 100:  Shout with joy before the Lord, O earth!  Obey him gladly; come before him, singing with joy.  Try to realize what this means-the Lord is God!  He made us-we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.  Go through his open gates with great thanksgiving; enter his courts with praise.  Give thanks to him and bless his name.  For the Lord is always good.  He is always loving and kind, and his faithfulness goes on and on to each succeeding generation.

Have a super day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!  Thinking of you today Mark and Matt and family.

Do you like your own handwriting?  My sister will probably say yes to her own but don't believe her.......her handwriting is.....let's just say......YIKES!!  :)

Good Wednesday morning!  Only 7 more school days left for the kids and 8 left for the staff.  Then summer vacation begins!!  Yeah!!!  What a busy, busy time of the year.  So much going on.

Bill Cartwright's "Celebration of Life" service yesterday was beautiful.  Even though I got teary eyed a couple of times I have to say that the service was uplifting too.  One of the best parts was when all of his grandkids and great-grandkids got up on stage and a few of the grandkids spoke some pretty awesome things about their grandfather.  They also had a picture slideshow of his life.  What a wonderful life he had too.  You had no doubt when you left there that Bill loved God, his beautiful wife Donna and his family and was devoted to all.  You will be dearly missed Bill.

I also wanted to say that you can never take too many pictures of your family.  What a treasure it was for all of us to see the many touching pictures of Bill.  So get those cameras out and keep them out and take lots of pictures.  So many of life's moments are precious memories!

Just wanted to share this picture of Jenna and I.  We took it on Sunday just because.

Psalms 96 verses 1, 2, 3 & 4:  Sing a new song to the Lord!  Sing it everywhere around the world!  Sing out his praises!  Bless his name.  Each day tell someone that he saves.  Publish his glorious acts throughout the earth.  Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.  For the Lord is great beyond description, and greatly to be praised.

Have a wonderful day everyone!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!  Thank you God for your tender loving care.

Do you generally fall asleep at night reading or watching T.V.?
