My Child.....I am also the Father who comforts you in all your troubles.  (2 Corinthians 1: 3 & 4 says.....What a wonderful God we have--he is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of every mercy, and the one who so wonderfully comforts and strengthens us in our hardships and trials.  And why does he do this?  So that when others are troubled, needing our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us.) ---God's Love Letter

Good Tuesday morning!!  Ahhhh.....I had another great day with Tyler yesterday.  We are getting into a good routine and he is just a happy camper.  I took him to the Family Treehouse again yesterday to play but this time I took my camera with me.  This place is like Disneyland to the little kids.  Ty loves it.  Here are a couple of pictures of him yesterday playing.

Vacation Bible School continues to go great!  Our theme is Pandamania and the kids are learning how good God is, how much he cares for us and loves us just the way we are.  We also thank God and know he listens to us when we pray.  They are making some cool crafts, singing like crazy, eating great snacks, playing games that usually have water involved etc....totally fun!  Jenna and I are involved in a skit tonight.  I'll let you know how that goes.

Pastor Angel Linda......we would love to send little Samuel birthday cards for his July 4th birthday!!  You provide the address and we will send them out.  Great idea!  It would be a fun way of making his birthday a special one!

Prayer requests:  For a young teen who has made some bad decisions in the past and who is trying to straighten out his life now.  Pray for him to get the help and support he needs and for God's guidance for his future.

Philippians 4 verse 13:  For I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me strength and power.

Read the bible in a year:  Today....Psalms 9 - 16.  Thursday....Psalms 17 - 20.  Hope some of you have decided to join us in reading this book of the bible.  You will enjoy it.

Have a wonderful day everyone!!  Today is another precious gift from God and He is so Good!!

Question......Do you like to eat candy that is sour and tart?  Nope....can't handle it.

As to yesterday's question......I want some cobbler bad now!  Guess what I will be making this weekend?   And of course it will be peach!  I have been craving it ever since I read all of your answers yesterday.  Anyone got a simple recipe for one?  :)

My Child...I am able to do more for you than you could possibly imagine.  (Ephesians 3:20 says.....Now glory be to God who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we could ever dare to ask or even dream of--infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.)---God's Love Letter

Good Tuesday morning!!  I had a great day with Tyler yesterday!  I took him to the Family Treehouse to play and he loved it!  His buddy Wyatt was there too and they just played and played.  Great place for the kids to go to this summer since it is so hot outside.  Looking forward to spending a little time there each day playing with my buddy.

We had the first night of Vacation Bible School at our church last night. Wow!  It was so much fun!  Nothing like a church full of kids, worshipping, singing and praising the Lord....all while having a blast doing it!

Here are a few pics that we took last night with my not so good little camera.  The first one is of Jenna and me standing next to part of the Great Wall of China entrance.

The second one is of me and Patty McDonald. We are always teamed up together every year and have as much fun as the kids do.

Prayer requests:  Please pray for a family who is facing some potentially life changing things.  Pray for them God's wisdom and guidance to make the right decisions as they face the challenges ahead.  Also for the safety and protection of our men and women serving in our military and for their families.

Proverbs 3 verses 3, 4, 5 & 6:  Never forget to be truthful and kind.  Hold these virtues tightly.  Write them deep within your heart.  If you want favor with both God and man, and a reputation for good judgement and common sense, then trust the Lord completely; don't ever trust yourself.  In eveything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.

Read the bible in a year:  Today......Psalms 1 - 8.  Wednesday.......Psalms 9 - 16.  Join us in a great book of the bible to read.

Have a terrific day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

Question.......Favorite type of cobbler to eat?  I like to eat just about any type of cobbler but do like a good berry cobbler.

My Child.....Delight in me and I will give you the desires of your heart.  (Psalms 37:4 says....Be delighted with the Lord.  Then he will give you all your heart's desires.)-----God's Love Letter

Good Monday morning everyone!!  How was your weekend?  I had a wonderful weekend and I am ready to start this fun week!  Guess who is with me this morning?  Yep.....Tyler!  Nani has a summer schedule planned and God willing it will go smooth for me this summer health wise.  I have signed Tyler up for some Family Treehouse fun, (it is an indoor place where kids can go and play, learn and do an activity), swimming and trips to the library to read.

Then each evening this week I will be at church for some Vacation Bible school fun.  The church always has a great program planned every year and the kids have a blast.  This years theme is Pandamania.  Mike and Jenna have the opportunity to decorate the sanctuary for VBS every year.  Here is the Great Wall of China that they built and decorated (yes....Mike and Jenna made the Panda.)  This is just a little part of it.  My sister-in-law Noni also does an amazing job with the sanctuary decorations.

Here is a picture of summer fun with Tyler and Poppi swimming.  Tyler likes to jump off the side of the pool into your arms now too.  He loves the water!

2 Thessalonians verses 16 & 17:  May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting comfort and hope which we don't deserve, comfort your hearts with all comfort, and help you in every good thing you say and do.

Read the bible in a year:  Today......Job 40 - 42.  Tomorrow......Psalms 1 - 8.  I know a lot of people who took up the challenge to read the bible in a year.  Woohoo.....we are doing great!  If you haven't jumped in to do it with us and want to start, I suggest you begin with us tomorrow and read the book of Psalms with us.  You will love this book!  Guaranteed!  Make sure you get an easy version to read.  Read it from the computer if you like.  This book was so comforting to me when I was so sick.

Have a marvelous day everyone!!  Today is another great gift from God and He is so Good!!

My Child.....My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore.  (Psalms 139: 17-18 says....How precious it is, Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me constantly!  I can't even count how many times a day your thoughts turn towards me.  And when I waken in the morning, you are still thinking of me!

Good Saturday morning!!  It was nice to sleep in for a bit this morning.  My summer vacation has started and it started last night with a lot of fun!  We attended the wedding of one of my nurses who took such great care of me over the past three years.  Mike Pearson always went above and beyond the call of duty for me and he has seen me at my worst.  It was awesome to be able to see Mike and Maria get married last night.  Here is a picture of me and Mike.  I was wearing about 4 inch heels so it definitely made me look tall.

My Child....My plan for your future has always been filled with hope.  (Jeremiah 29:11 says.....For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord.  They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.) ---God's Love Letter

Good Friday morning!!  Oh yeah....oh yeah....last day of school for me until August 26th when I report back to work.  Aaahhhhh.......the last day of school with the kids is always a lot of fun.  I ate my way through the day with all the fun snacks and goodies the kids brought.  I received tons of hugs and even though I am ready for the break, I will miss the munchkins a lot.  It was also quite a memorable last day of school too.  A 4.5 earthquake hit first thing in the morning.  The kids were great and ducked underneath the tables until it was over and we had to evacuate outside.  Luckily we didn't have anymore while school was going on.

Remember me telling you about my wonderful nurse Mike Pearson who has taken such great care of me off and on for the last 3 years?  We I am very excited to be attending his wedding tonight!  Mike and Maria will be getting married tonight with a reception to follow.  I am very happy for them both and feel so blessed to be here to see it.  I will try to get a picture with Mike tonight so you can all see what he looks like.  Mike P. is one of the many blessings God sent my way when I was so sick.

I also wanted you to know that my brain scan appointment has now been changed to Thursday, June 16th. Thanks for praying!

Taylor Aguilera has almost reached her goal!!  See her comment on yesterday's blog entry.  You go girl.  I know you will reach your goal very soon!  We are so proud of you!

Here is a picture of Tyler in his Elmo pajamas watching his favorite character.  Elmo!
