My Child.....I am your provider and I meet all your needs.  (Matthew 6: 31 & 33 says....(Jesus is talking) "So don't worry at all about having enough food and clothing.  Your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.)----God's Love Letter

Good Thursday morning!!  Yaaaaaay!!!  Last day of school for the kids!  Tomorrow is the last day of school for the staff!  I am ready!

Okay, so I have to tell you all about yesterday at school.  The 4th graders have been working hard on a musical performance for the school and their parents.  I went to the show that they had yesterday and I was totally blown away by their performance.  They were so, so, so good......they were in costumes and everything.  Before each song they sang, a student would get up and tell a little history about the song, artist, writer etc...So right before they perfomed the last song, my sweet Taylor Aguilera (who makes the beautiful bracelets) stood up at the microphone and started to tell about the song "We Are The World."  You all know that song....very famous.....performed by a group of the best singers in the music industry......go on You tube if you don't remember.

Well after she told the history she went on to dedicate this song to some special people who have survived and still are surviving with hard things daily and that if they heard their name to stand up.  The first name out of her mouth????  Mrs. Gilbert.  She then went on to mention other cancer survivors, a student that had Kawasaki's disease and even one of the 4th grade teachers (Mrs. Cosio) who has MS.  Well of course I was crying from the start and didn't stop until the song was done.  I was COMPLETELY surprised and so touched by it all.  I was crying and so happy at the same time at how beautifully they did, my brain didn't know how to react. I know that I am not doing this story justice and that you had to be there.  I am sure that the 4th grade teachers or Taylor can tell you all much better about what she said.  It really meant a lot.  So thank you all!

Thank you to the 4th grade teachers at our school who worked hard with the kids to put this on....Mrs. Cosio, Mrs. Bonillas, Mrs. Brinnon and Mr. Acosta.  I know the kids will always remember this day.  I know that I will.

Here is the picture of Ty showing me his new Elmo pajamas.

Prayer requests:  As school is letting out for all the children for the summer, let's pray for God's blessings on the children.  Pray they have a safe and fun summer with their families and all the activities they will be participating in.  I pray they have a wonderful vacation.  Even though it is the last day of school and I am ready, I will miss the kids a lot.

Matthew 6 verse 34:  So don't be anxious about tomorrow.  God will take care of your tomorrow too.  Live one day at a time.

Read the bible in a year:  Today......Job 29 - 31.  Friday.....Job 32 - 34.

Have a super day everyone!  Today is another awesome gift from God and He is so Good!!  Thank you God for sweet miracles!

My Child.....Every good gift that you receive comes from my hand.  (James 1:17 says.....But whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God, the Creator of all light, and he shines forever without change or shadow.)---God's Love Letter

Good Wednesday morning!!  Counting today there are only 2 more school days left for the kids and 3 for the staff. Woot...woot!  Summer vacation is getting closer.  Yesterday I saw some of the kindergarteners at school graduate.  They are so cute and I can't believe how quickly this year has passed.  I still remember Jenna and Jeff's kindergarten graduation like it was yesterday.  Their teacher Mrs. Clary poured her heart, soul and love into putting on such a special and memorable graduation for her kids.  Thank you Mrs. Clary.  It meant a lot to us parents and I know Mike and I will never forget it.  Time sure does fly by in a blink of an eye.  Before you know it Tyler will be in kinder!

I wanted to tell you also that Mike was able to make my appointments with my oncologist Dr. McClay and with my neurosurgeon Dr. Ott on the same day now to get the results to my scans.  They will be on Tuesday, June 21st.  I appreciate all of the encouragement and prayers.  Please pray for Mike and I to have peace, especially on that day.

Quote I read and wanted to share......There are only two ways to live your life.  One is as though nothing is a miracle.  The other is as though everything is a miracle

Here is a picture of Tyler playing with a bat and rubber ball.  He was hitting that ball all over the house and having a blast!

Peggy Dale....what perfect timing!  Right back at you.  Thanks so much!

Prayer requests:  Please pray for the Obeso family for strength, peace and comfort over their recent tragic loss.  I also wanted to let you know that one of the people that we have all been praying for about their depression is getting better.  They started a new medication that seems to be helping and they feel that they are starting to feel more like themselves again and have set some new goals for themselves.  Praise God!!

2 Timothy 3 verses 16 & 17:  The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right.  It is God's way of making us well prepared at every point, fully equipped to do good to everyone.

Read the bible in a year:  Today.....Job 24 - 28.  Thursday.....Job 29 - 31.

Have a wonderful day everyone!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

Question:  What was your kindergarten teacher's name?  Mine was Mrs. Peters.  Mike's was Mrs. Burns.

My Child......It is my desire to lavish my love on you.  (1 John 3:1 says....See how very much our heavenly Father loves us, for he allows us to be called his children--think of it--and we really are! -----God's Love Letters

Good Tuesday morning!  Thanks everyone for praying for all the requests, not only yesterday but for the requests that go up everyday.  Amy Brinnon was diagnosed with Bells Palsy but with medication she is doing a little better already.  Continue to pray for a full recovery for her.

It is that time again where I would like to encourage you to send out a card or two or three to someone who can use some encouragement, a get well, a thinking about you or just to say hello!  No matter what you are going through, it is so uplifting to get a card or note in the mail.  So the next time you are at the store, please pick up a card and send it out this week.  There are many people going through so much and not only need to know that we care, but that we think of them and that they are in our prayers.  If you have been blessed....please pay it forward and bless someone else this week.  Thanks everyone.

Sorry if I did not get back to your phone calls or e-mails yesterday.  I was running around like a chicken all afternoon and had dinner out last night.  Will get back to those sometime today.

Here are a couple of pics of Tyler in his new Elmo pajamas that Nani bought him.  Here he is getting behind the curtains giggling.  I said, "Where's Tyler?"

He popped open the curtains and I said, "Oh there he is!" while he was giggling some more.

Prayer requests:  Continued prayers for Carmen and Richard Canalez who lost their home this past weekend due to a fire.  Also for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one.  Pray for them God's comfort and peace.  Also for someone who has the flu right now.

The bible repeatedly warns us about giving into anger when we are upset by other peoples words or actions.   Psalms 37 verses 8 & 9 says.....Stop your anger!  Turn off your wrath.  Don't fret and worry--it only leads to harm.  For the wicked shall be destroyed, but those who trust the Lord shall be given every blessing.

Read the bible in a year:  Today......Job:  21-23.  Wednesday......Job:  24-28

Have a terrific day everyone!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

Thanks Vicki!!  That was fun!  Love everything!

Question:  What is one of your pet peeves?  I have a few but one of mine is when I see healthy people who don't have a handicap license plate, sticker or placard, park in a handicap parking space and run into the store.

My child.....I knit you together in your mother's womb.  (Psalms 139:13 says......You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body, and knit them together in my mother's womb.)  And brought you forth on the day you were born.  (Pslams 71:6 says.....Yes, you have been with me from birth and have helped me constantly--no wonder I am always praising you!)  -----God's Love Letter

Good Monday morning.  I would like to start off my blog today and ask you all for prayers.  Please pray for a dear friend and co-worker of mine, Carmen and her husband Richard Canalez.  Their house caught fire on Saturday night and is a total loss.  I cannot imagine what they are feeling and going through right now.   Please pray for them strength and comfort as they go through what will be a very difficult process.  Carmen and Richard are so unselfishly giving with their time, money and themselves.  They have helped a countless number of people.  I know that they will receive a lot of support.  We love you both and we are all here for you and will help in anyway we can.

Please also pray for another friend and co-worker Amy Brinnon.  Pray for her health and that they will find out what is wrong with her and that she will get well very soon.  Love you Amy!

Also for my cousin Bev who suffers from fibro-myalagia.  Pray that her pain goes away and that she will be back on her feet and enjoying life soon.  Pray that they will find a medication that will take this pain away from her for good.  Love you Bev!

Also anonymous prayer request for a friend and her family.  Hugs.

It is incredible what the power of prayer can do.  Thank you all so much for taking a moment and saying a prayer for these people and for praying everyday for all of the people who request prayer.  I hope you all know how very much it is appreciated.

My brother Donald and my sister-in-law Noni just got back from a fun cruise around Alaska.  They said it was an awesome trip and the sights were gorgeous.  Here is a picture of them in a kart they rented and toured around in Ketchikan, Alaska.  They had a blast!  Donald told me that the price for a gallon of milk is $5.00 and a loaf of bread is $7.00.

Happy birthday to my beautiful niece Aimee!!  Have a super fun day Aimee!

1 Thessalonians 5 verse 17:  Always keep on praying.

My Child....You are fearfully and wonderfully made.  (Psalms 139:14 says...Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!  It is amazing to think about.  Your workmanship is marvelous--and how well I know it.)--God's Love Letter

Good Saturday morning!!  How are you?  I have lots to do around the house today and errands to run.  Happy to have a day off to get everything done.  My friend Jessica's baby shower yesterday was a lot of fun and she received some super cute things for the baby.  You heard a lot of "Oh how cute!"  as she opened her gifts.  Here is a picture of me with the mommy to be.   Check out the corsage she is wearing.  It is made out of baby socks, ribbons and leaves.  It is so cute and an awesome idea!

Les 'n Jess

Let's thank God for all the blessings we receive each day and for answered prayer.  Let's also continue to lift up in our prayers the people who suffered from the tornados and are literally trying to rebuild everything in their life.  Pray for their strength and comfort and restoration.

Philippians 4 verse 19:  And it is He who will supply ALL your needs from his riches in glory, because of what Christ Jesus has done for us.  (Notice that in this verse it says ALL.  It doesn't say some or most but it says He will meet ALL of our needs.  It doesn't say how He will meet our needs and I have found the way He does it, is often not how I expected.....it was even better then I could dream for myself.  The bottom line is that God is faithful and He does what he promises.  I think that is so awesome.)

Read the bible in a year:  Today.....Job 11- 13.  Sunday......Job 14 - 16.  Monday.......Job 17 - 20.

Have a spectacular weekend everyone!  See you on Monday!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

Question......How many pillows do you have on your bed including decorative ones?  Mike and I have 10 pillows on our bed!!  Wow....I never really thought about that before.....that is a lot but it looks good.  Some are really small.
