Good Friday morning!  Love it when these working weeks pass by fast!  Now if the weekend will just go by slow....still counting down until the last day of school.  Counting today there are only 5 days left for the students and 6 for the staff.  Next Friday I think a lot of us will be "Happy Dancing" because the summer break has started!

This afternoon I am going to a baby shower for my friend Jessica Salgado who I work with.  She isn't due until the beginning of September but we decided to throw her a shower before school let out for the summer.  It is always fun to buy things for a baby.  She is having a boy.

I had such a great afternoon yesterday.  An old friend of mine that I hadn't seen in a long time was here for a visit.  It was really great seeing you yesterday Kim.  I am so happy that we had the chance to get together.

I read this yesterday and wanted to share it with you......If you partner with God, make your plans BIG!  I encourage you today to make God your partner.  Whatever your burden is that caused you to search for strength, give it up to him now.  Do not let another minute go by without completely surrendering your burdens to Him.  God wants to be your strength.  Surrender to Him in your weakness and let Him show Himself strong.----D.L. Here is a picture of Tyler doing what he loves doing best.....but he actually counts on his own now in his counting book.  You hear him going one, two, three.....all of the time we spend reading with him is paying off.

Prayer requests:  Amy Bonillas' spot was pre-melanoma.  The Dr. had to cut the area again to get all of the edges and make sure they got it all.  Please be praying for a fast recovery.  The Dr. is looking at more spots to remove at a later time.  Pray that they are not melanoma.  Also for someone who is suffering from migraines and wants our prayers for relief to come soon.

Psalms 138 verse 3:  When I pray, you answer me, and encourage me by giving me the strength I need.

Question:  What made you smile today????  This morning I woke up and looked over at the doorknob in my bedroom and there hanging on the knob are the Elmo pajamas I bought for Tyler this week.  He hasn't seen them yet.  They are adorable and I smiled because I can't wait to see the smile on his face when he sees them.

Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed.....

Good Thursday morning!  Oh you are all so wonderful!  Thanks to so many who sent me uplifting e-mails yesterday about my appointments this month.  I really do feel the prayers.  I now have my brain scan appointment.  It will be Monday, June 13th in the afternoon.  I know for sure that God is in control and He will see me through and give me the strength for each and every appointment that I have coming up.

Well I have some more very exciting news to tell you about Taylor and her bracelets that she is making and selling for cancer research.  First Imperial Credit Union gave her a call and they want to help her sell her bracelets.  She, with the help of her family have been making bracelets like crazy.  I believe the credit union will start helping her to sell them today.  So if you are out and about go by First Imperial CU and buy one of her cool bracelets.  She is rapidly reaching her goal.  Taylor is loving doing this.  I admire her for taking this on and the tremendous support she is receiving.  God bless you all and thanks for helping Taylor's cause.....to help find a cure for cancer!

Here is a picture of Tyler that I am having a hard time with.  Look at what a big boy he is!  He looks more like a little boy and not a baby anymore.  Where does the time go?  I want him to stop growing, which of course is not going to happen.  I do thank God for every moment I have with him.  Time is flying by!  He is 19 months old.

Prayer requests:  Amy Bonillas had another mole cut out 2 weeks ago and she is getting the results this afternoon.  Please keep her in your prayers that she gets good news from the Dr.  Please also pray for a family that has a big decision to make before the end of the week.  Pray for them God's wisdom and guidance and that they will be at peace with the choice they make.  Also for a lady named Ginger who just found out her cancer has returned. Pray for complete healing.   And for a few people who's hearts are hurting right now because of surrounding circumstances.  Pray that they will feel God's peace that passes all understanding.

Isaiah 40 verses 28 - 29:  Don't you yet understand?  Don't you know by now that the everlasting God, the Creator of the farthest parts of the earth, never grows faint or weary?  No one can fathom the depths of his understanding.  He gives power to the tired and worn out, and strength to the weak.
