Good morning and happy Sunday!  I hope you are having a fantastic weekend!

The story behind the "Happy Dance".........I work with kindergarteners and I teach them math.  When I want them to learn a new concept I tell them that if they get it right that I will do a "Happy Dance" for them.  Well they want to know and see what that is so they work real hard and then I do a very silly dance for them while chanting "Oh Yeah.....Oh Yeah.....I knew you could do it.......Oh Yeah.......Oh Yeah".  Well they laugh and laugh and love it.  By the end of the year they are all doing it.  It helps to break the ice with them at the beginning of the year too.  One of my favorite sounds is hearing children laugh.  It is such a joy for me to work with them.  There you have it......the story behind the "Happy Dance".

Good morning!  Still praising God here.....smiling big......and doing the "Happy Dance".  Had a wonderful July 4th.  My brother John, my sister-in-law Lori and nephew Joshua came from Arizona to visit.  It was great seeing them!  Then we went to my father and mother-in laws house for a July 4th BBQ.  We ate a lot and had a great time there.  Then a ton of family and friends came over to watch the firework show from our house.  You can see the show really well from where I live.  My daughter Jenna made the best homemade ice cream to eat while we were watching the show.  (What s the fourth with out BBQ and home made ice cream?)  It was a day filled with relaxing fun!  How was your day?

Good morning and "Happy 4th of July"!  We are still singing the praises of and thanking God for His healing!  I am humbled by His mighty power.  He is faithful to the promises of His word.  I am so thankful and grateful for good health!  I can't quit smiling!  Thank you all so much for the phone calls, messages, comments and flowers!  I cried happy tears all day long.  The stories of the "Happy Dancing" were so funny!  Mark & Ginna......thanks for stopping by and doing the Happy Dance in front of me.  That was hilarious and I won't forget it.

What an awesome day I had yesterday!  We celebrated all day and will continue to.  My daughter Jenna arranged a big family get together last night to eat, laugh and celebtrate!  It was so much fun!  We are planning to do more of that today and to watch the fireworks tonight.  What are your plans for today and the weekend?  Enjoy your day today and have some relaxing fun!

I am cancer free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are all doing the happy dance and we are not going to stop!  You just can't wipe the smile off of my face at all.  I am thanking and praising God.  What a day of celebration it will be for us and through out the weekend.  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much for keeping me in your prayers!  I know that I sound like a broken record but I so appreciate all of the love, support and encouragement that you gave me.  What an incredible journey we have been on!!  The Dr. said that when I am tumor free for two years then there is less then 5% chance that it will ever come back.  So please keep me in your prayers.  My next PET scan will be in October.  The start of my 2 years began in February.  I am able to also go back to work in August which I am thrilled about.

Good morning!  Well Mike and I are off to San Diego today.  My appointment with the oncologist is at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.  As soon as I find out what the results are and what the Dr. said I will let you all know.  So I will be posting later in the day tomorrow.  Just please keep checking the blog tomorrow.  I promise to post.....I just don't know what time it will be yet.  Tomorrow is the day I have been waiting for for 6 months.  Please keep Mike and I in your prayers.  I thank you for the tremendous love, encouragement and support you have given to my family and I during this whole journey.  I thank and praise God for each and everyone of you.  What a HUGE blessing you have been to us.  Have a super day today and remember that God is Good!
