Hello again!  Yes, it is Monica again!  Leslie is doing well.  She was tired after her treatment but did a big happy dance to celebrate her last IV treatment!!  The doctor's office gave her a certificate to celebrate the completion of her chemo therapy.  I am sure we will be seeing a picture of it in an upcoming blog!  Leslie and Mike are so thrilled that this is almost done.  Please continue to pray for strength as her body starts to recover. 

Thank you for your great feedback on your bridesmaid's dresses and honeymoons.  Doesn't going fishing on your honeymoon just sound like fun!  And MJ in Indiana....what could you be talking about : ) 

So the question of the day, what was the first meal you ruined as a new bride??

Hello!  It's Monica again.  Today is Leslie's last IV chemo treatment!  Please be ready to do the happy dance for her today and again on Sunday night when she takes the last of her oral chemo pills.  I talked to her last night and again this morning.  She is a little tired but her and Mike are having a wonderful time in San Diego.  They were going to have breakfast in Del Mar this morning before her treatment.  On behalf of all of my family, I do want to thank each of you for your prayers and support for Leslie and us during this journey.  You have really been a blessing in our lives!!

Sticking to the wedding theme, where did you go on a honeymoon?  I will respond for Mike and Leslie, I believe they went on a cruise to Mexico.  Any really exotic locations out there?  

Thank you again God for healing Leslie and being with her every step of the way!  God is awesome!   

Guest blogger Monica here!  Sorry I am late this morning....that darn work thing!  Leslie and Mike arrived safely in San Diego last night and are having a really good time.  Leslie said this is just what the doctor ordered.  They had a great dinner and walked along the beach.  They are off to Sea Port Village today and Coronado tomorrow.  They are being San Diego tourist...those are two of my favorite areas of San Diego too! 

So I get to pose the question of the day...and yes I still want to hear from you.  Even those people who only like to read other's responses...come on.... go ahead and respond!  So what was your bridesmaid's dress color?  I am sure there are some lovely 70s colors out there.  Leslie had us in lavendar...very 80s.

Good morning!  We are almost packed and ready to go.  We have some things that  we have to take care of this morning first,  but should be out of here soon.  We are very excited and ready to relax and enjoy the ocean.

Tomorrow my sister Monica will be blogging to you all.  I hope to pop in sometime this week too. 

I want to wish a Happy Birthday early to my little cousin Emily Van Patten who will be two on Friday.  Have a fun birthday!

Please continue to keep Mike and I in your prayers this week.  My LAST treatment is on Thursday at 10:30.  WoooHoooo!!!  Sunday I will be done with the oral chemo meds!!!

If you could eat lunch with anyone from the past or present who would it be?

Good morning!!  How was your weekend?  I had a great weekend.  Spent it relaxing with the family.  I am able to eat more  so now I am feeling much better. 

Well this is going to be a great week!!!!  #1.......I have my last treatment this week and I will finish my oral chemo meds on Sunday.  WoooHoooo!!!  #2..........Mike and I are taking off tomorrow for a very much needed relaxing stay at the beach.  We will be there until Saturday.  (Yes....I will be heavily sunscreened and in the shade)  #3......Mike and I will not only be celebrating the last treatment but also our Anniversary while we are up there.  God is good and I am so happy that we have the opportunity to get away for a while and focus on some relaxing fun. 

Also........while I am gone my sister Monica will be my guest blogger.  Yep, she will take over on Wednesday.    Don't know what she is going to say here but I will keep her updated on Mike and I so she can tell you.  She will especially let you know on Thursday how that last treatment went.  If I get to a computer this week I will pop in too.

After this Sunday when all the chemo is finished I will be ready to celebrate!!!!  A lot of my friends and family have some fun plans too.  I can't wait!!  I am sooooooo ready!!!!

I could really use your prayers this week.  Thanks to all of you that have been praying for me for so long.  God saw me though so many things and boy have I learned much!  I am so, so , so grateful for your prayers!

What do you wear on you feet in the house?  Nothing.  I go barefoot except in the winter.....then I wear warm socks.
