Good morning!  I had a really nice layed back anniversary day with Mike yesterday.  Even though we are officially celebrating it next week he still had some great surprises for me.  He is so sweet and thoughtful.  I think after 27 years he knows exactly what I need and when.

Other then feeling tired I am not doing too bad this week.  My appetite seems to be coming back so I am eating more and my stomach doesn't seem to be bothering me.  Can you all believe that I only have ONE more treatment to go?????  ONE!!!!  I am so ready!!

What are your plans for this weekend?  We are having family and friends over for dinner tonight and just hanging out.  The mornings and evenings have been so nice the past couple of days.  Looks like we will be able to kick back on our deck tonight.

Good morning!!  Guess what today is??  It is mine and Mike's 27th wedding anniversary!!!!!  Yep......27 of the very best years of my life.  I love Mike more and more every day.  He is the best hubby and I adore him.  We are just kicking back today and will celebrate next week.  We have decided to go on a very much needed R&R at the beach next week for a few days.  We will celebrate our anniversary then.   We are so looking forward to that!  And celebrating my last treatment!!  WoooHooo!!

I slept really well last night and my stomach has not given me any trouble so far.  I know it is all the praying that you are doing.  I actually feel hungry this morning too.  I had better take advantage of that while I can. 

Wow....the temperatures last night and this morning are nice here.   We have cooled off a little.  I will take it!  I just wish it would stay!

I have a favor to ask of all my prayer warriors out there.  I have a friend who is having some serious health issues right now and is having a lot of testing done now to see what the problem is.  She needs ours prayers for strength and that all the tests will come back okay.  On top of all this she has a baby.  Please pray that whatever this is that she will be healed swiftly and keep her strength up for not only herself but for her baby too.  Thanks!!

UPDATE:  We are back home.  I slept most of the way up and back.  Everything went well with the treatment and my Dr. perscribed some meds for me in case my stomach does it's thing again tonight.  I can't believe that I am saying this but I have only ONE more treatment to go.  Yahoo!  What a journey.  I am finally almost done!  Thanks guys for keeping me in your prayers!  Love to you all.........have a great evening.........Leslie

Good morning!  Mike and I are off to San Diego this morning for treatment #23 out of 24.  I am not feeling so well this morning and I didn't sleep too well last night either.  I will be okay............I am almost done with all of this.  The thought of being almost done and knowing that I am already healed of cancer makes things better.  We will give you an update on how things went when we get back home.  Thanks for keeping us in your prayers.

Good morning!  How are you?  I am hangng in there.  Sooooo ready for all of this to be done.  I go to San Diego tomorrow for treatment #5.  My appointment is at 10:30.  Could you please pray that my body will be okay with the medicine?  I am a little worried about that.  Just don't want to end up in the emergency room again.  Also my appetite has dropped to zero.  I have had a really good appetite until last treatment and now nothing!  We all know I don't need to lose any weight so if you can pray for me to get my appetite back.  I will talk to the Dr. about that tomorrow too.  I will keep you posted on how that is going.

What is the one thing that goes bad the fastest in your fridge?  For me it is always my fresh vegetables.  I am always throwing rotten vegetables in the trash.  Guess I need to use them up faster huh?

They had a great time!  We all love San Francisco.  Such a fun city to visit.

I started the allergy medicine that the Doc told me to use and I wasn't thinking and took it last night instead of morning time.  Well I was wired for sound all night last night!  Yikes!  Guess I will be napping a lot today.  I won't make that mistake again.  I am waiting until tomorrow morning to take the medicine again.  I am having some side effect issues right now if you could please be praying about that for me.

Guess what is coming soon????  Football!!!  Oh yeah.....I can't wait!!  San Diego Chargers all the way!!!  First pre-season game is in a couple of weeks.  Are all my Charger fan friends ready??
