Good morning!!  Did you all have a nice weekend?  I did what I needed to do and that was a whole lot of nothing.  I felt really tired this weekend so I rested.  I might as well take advantage of the resting now because I know when this is all over I will be hitting the ground running with lots to do.  I did continue to "Happy Dance" though!

Mike and I figured out how many days left of my being on the chemo.  I finish with all chemo including the pills on August 19th.  So I have only 16 more days left with this and I am DONE!!  I can't even begin to tell you how ready I am for this to be over.  I won't be able to start out this school year with the kids but the Dr. says if my levels look good that I can start back sometime in September.  I am really excited about that!

I have a funny Lola story to tell you.  (Girls) you know when you find the perfect strapless bra.....I mean the kind that you put on and actually stays.....no adjusting required??  Well I had found the perfect one a couple of years ago.  I took it off the other day and instead of throwing it into the hamper I tossed it on the bathroom floor.  Guess who chewed the strap right off of it?  Yep.....LOLA!  I couldn't believe it.  She never chews anything.....she never gets into trouble.  So I had to say goodbye to the best strapless bra I owned and I hope to find one just like it sometime soon.  :)

I would like to thank Tanya Alloway Iten for coming to my house these last three days while Jenna was gone to give me my shots.  I really appreciated that Tanya!  Thanks Cheryl Hargrove for lunch on Saturday.

Jenna and Ryan are back from San Francisco and they had a super time.  I can't wait to see pictures today.

Good morning!!  Wow......August 1st.  The summer just seems to be flying by.  Before I know it school will be starting, the holidays are fast approaching and I have a new grandson coming!!  I am so excited about that can you tell?  That's what makes the news of being cancer free even sweeter!  I will be all done with my treatments and much stronger by the time the baby comes.  Jenna is due on November 2.

WoooooHooooo......I am CANCER FREE!!!  I am continuing to give God all the glory and praise for healing me! I am so grateful and thankful!  Still smiling and Happy Dancing here!  My stomach is doing much better.  My oncologist Dr. McClay called me yesterday and he thinks the problem might be that my body is having an allergic reaction to the combination of the IV meds they are giving me.  He is going to look at those and make some adjustments before I go in next week.  I am kind of scared to do another treatment  because I don't want to go through that kind of pain again.  So that is my prayer request for now.  That not only the last two treatments go smooth but that my body will be able to handle them and be okay.  My poor body is just done.......but I can do this.  I have to.

Jenna and Ryan are having a blast in San Francisco!  Jenna has called me several times.....I miss her tons already.  They will be back tomorrow night.

Well a friend is picking me up today for lunch but other then that I will be back on the couch again resting.  What are your weekend plans?  Have fun with whatever you are doing and try to stay cool.  Have a great weekend!!  I will blog again on Monday.   Today is another gift and God is so Good!!!  Dance!
