Good Saturday morning!!  It is our 28th wedding anniversary today!  Yep....Mike and I have been so very happily married for 28 years now.  Can you believe it?

I put the writing in lavendar because that was the color in our wedding.  It was such an 80's thing....Yikes!   We have experienced so much during these years together and I wouldn't change a thing.  It has been a great and fun adventure!  Our marriage has been the best blessing in my life and I thank God for putting us together.  Every minute that I have with Mike is a gift and I don't want to waste any of it.

Tyler went swimming a lot this week in his little pool that we have for him and this is a couple of the pictures I took.  Poppi Mike had the hose and Tyler was loving it!

Then he stuck his face in it!  PRICELESS!

So what is everyone up to this weekend?  Whatever it is have fun and relax and enjoy yourself.

Prayer requests:  My friend Carla Paramo has asked for prayer for her dad, Carl Hinshaw, who did end up having a stroke.  He can't communicate with them and is confused.  Everything else seems to be okay with him.  So if we could pray that over the next couple of weeks as he sees specilaists that he will get back his speech and communication skills and that he won't be confused anymore. I love Mr. Hinshaw.  He was my algebra teacher in High School.  Our prayer warriors will be praying for a full recovery and we love you and your family!

Genesis 9 verses 14 - 17:  "When I send clouds over the earth, the rainbow will be seen in the clouds, and I will remember my promise to you and to every being, that never again will the floods come and destroy all life.  For I will see the rainbow in the cloud and remember my eternal promise to every living being on the earth."

I absolutely love seeing rainbows and I think of God's promise to us everytime I see one.  God is so faithful and always holds true to his promises.  Hope you enjoyed the story of Noah.  Starting Monday I will share the story of Daniel in the Lion's Den.

Have a super weekend everyone!  See you on Monday! Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!

What were the colors in your wedding?

Good Friday morning!!  Are you ready for the weekend?  I sure am.  Going to try and chill this weekend because next week is going to be a crazy, busy week.  More about all of that on Monday.  Tyler is with Nani and Poppi again today.  So a day of playing with him is on the agenda.  This afternoon Jenna and I are meeting up with our friends Lisa and Tanya so Tyler & Wyatt can have a little playdate together.  You know me and Lisa....lots of pictures today from the grandma's!

It is card time again.  Everyone of us appreciates getting a card from someone who lets us know they care so much for us and love us, think about us and are praying for us.  We all know of someone who could use a pick me up right now.  So when you are out and about these next few days....please pick up a card and send it to someone.  You and they will be blessed!

Here are my last three pictures that I will share with you from our trip.  The first one is of Tyler fast asleep on his momma when we went on a long boat ride.

Hey Ginna...so glad that you finally got to meet Tyler and hold him.  Bummed that we missed Jess.  Looking forward to meeting the new baby when he comes!

Prayer requests....Today let's just thank God for all the blessings in our lives and answers to our prayers.  There is so much to be thankful for. It is really easy to thank and praise God when things in life are good,  but when things aren't exactly going the way we want them to and things are hard....we still have so much in our lives to thank God daily for.

Genesis 9 verses 1 God blessed Noah and his sons and told them to have many children and to repopulate the earth.  Verses 8- 13: Then God told Noah and his sons "I solemnly promise you and your children and the animals you brought with you--all these birds and cattle and wild animals--that I will never again send another flood to destroy the earth.  And I seal this promise with a sign: I have placed my rainbow in the clouds as a sign of my promise until the end of time, to you and to all the earth."  To be continued.....

Have a fantabulous day everyone!!  See you tomorrow! Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

What kind of trees do you have growing in your yard?  We have Palm trees, eucalyptus, lime, orange, date, papaya, nectarine and pomegranate.

Good Thursday morning!  Mike and I spent the day yesterday with our little sidekick.  He just keeps on getting more and more fun.  We have him again today for another day of spoiling.  I am going to miss him so much when I go back to work on the 20th!  I always have good quality time with him but have really been spoiled with the quantity time this summer.  Isn't it great to know that God always gives us quality time and quantity time.  He loves us so much unconditionally. He made us and thinks we are all beautiful.  His sweet mercy and grace are new everyday.

Here are some more pics from our trip of Jen and Jeff goofing off.  Here is Jeff holding Jen.

Then Jen attempting to hold Jeff.  Now you see why Tyler is such a ham?  But look at the sunset behind them.  Isn't it gorgeous?

I would like to wish a very "Happy Birthday" to my friend Olga Ortega.  Have an awesome day Olga!

Thank you Susan!!  That was fun!  Glad you got a chance to spend some time with Tyler.

I have an update on my sister-in-law Lori.  The Dr. feels that she does not need chemo but she will start radiation treatments next week for several weeks.  Also my friend's grandma is doing well after her surgery.  The family thanks you for praying for her.

Prayer requests:  A friend contacted me yesterday and told me that her father was taken to the hospital with the possibility that he had a stroke. Please pray that the doctor's figure out what is wrong and that he will recover swiftly.  Angel Linda is doing much better.  She is so thankful for all of your prayers.  Please pray also for all of our men and women who serve in the military.  For their safety and protection at all times and for their families.  God bless them all.

Genesis 8 verses 20 - 22: Then Noah built an alter and sacrificed on it some of the animals and birds God had designated for that purpose.  And Jehovah was pleased with the sacrifice and said to himself, "I will never do it again--I will never again curse the earth, destroying all living things, even though man's bent is always towards evil from his earliest youth, and even though he does such wicked things.  As long as the earth remains, there will be springtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, day and night."  To be continued....

Have a super day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

Question....what would your family say is their most favorite thing that you cook or bake?

Good Wednesday morning!  Let us give thanks to the Lord.....for He is good!!   How is your week going?  Mike and I were able to do some spring cleaning yesterday.  I know....a little late for spring but was so happy to get a lot accomplished before a busy fall and school year starts.  It feels so good to throw away and donate a bunch of stuff.  I couldn't of done it without Mike's help.  He is such a trooper and never complains.....just says "I'm done with that, what do you want me to do next?"  No wonder we have been happily married for almost 28 years!    :)

Thank you all so much for the positive and encouraging e-mails and texts that I received on doing my book.  It is very exciting for me.

Here are some more pics from our trip.  The first one is of the cousins, Kayanna and Jenna.

I would like to congratulate my friend Jessica Silva for completing her Master's degree.  You did it Jess!  Yay!  I knew you would!

Also congratulations to Phil and Sonia Falkenstein on the birth of Kendall!!  Can't wait to see pics of her!

Prayer requests:  I received a prayer request from Angel Linda last night.  Her knee gave out on her yesterday as she was getting into her car and she can hardly walk on it now and she is in a lot of pain.  She could use all of our prayers that her knee will start feeling better soon.  We love you Linda.

Genesis 8 verses 13 - 19:  Twenty-nine days after that, Noah opened the door to look, and the water was gone.  Eight more weeks went by.  Then at last the earth was dry.  Then God told Noah, "You may all go out.  Release all the animals, birds, and reptiles, so that they breed abundantly and reproduce in great numbers."  So the boat was soon empty.  Noah, his wife, and his sons and their wives all disembarked, along with all the animals, reptiles, and birds--all left the ark in pairs and groups.  To be continued.....

Have a wonderful day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

Question.....What do you do with all the pictures you take?  Do you scrapbook?  Put in photo albums?  Throw into a box?  Leave on computer?

Good Tuesday morning!!  Had a wonderful day with Tyler yesterday.  He went to the Dr. in the afternoon for his 9 month check up.  He is one healthy and happy baby.  The Dr. said he was doing great!  Thank you Lord!  What a joy he brings to all of us.  Mike is off for another week of vacation and he and I are loving every minute of it.

Here are some more pics from our trip.....This one is of Trisha, Laurie, Jenna, me and Julie hanging out by the boat.  Trisha, Laurie and Julie are Ryan's sisters.

Prayer requests: For our friend Lisa Tucker who is having surgery today.  That everything will go smooth and she will have a speedy recovery. Also for my friend's grandma surgery to go smooth today too.  Cancer: Lori C., Lorenzo, Sue, Anna, Martha, Cova, Cyndi, Claudia's dad, Betsy, Chris H., Lorri, Allen, Kenny, Maria, Samuel, Father Ruben, John W., Ken, Kristin, Patrick, Mike J., Carolyn, Teresa, Becky, Jim, Wayne, Ron and Jeff B.  Pray for strength to get through their treatments and to stay positive and encouraged.

Genesis 8 verse 6 - 12:  After another 40 days, Noah opened a porthole and released a raven that flew back and forth until the earth was dry.  Meanwhile he sent out a dove to see if it could find dry ground, but the dove found no place to light, and returned to Noah, for the water was still too high.  So Noah held out his hand and drew the dove back into the boat.  Seven days later Noah released the dove again, and this time, towards evening, the bird returned to him with an olive leaf in her beak.  So Noah knew that the water was almost gone.  A week later he released the dove again, and this time she didn't come back.  To be continued....

Have a terrific day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

Question....were you born on time or were you early or late???
