Good Monday morning!! We are in August already! I also have my little sidekick back with me today.  How was your weekend?  Wow.....we had a fantastic weekend!  As always when you are having so much fun the time seems to fly by.  We could not of picked a better weekend weather wise to go.  It was great!  We kicked off celebrating Ryan's birthday Friday night by eating at a restaurant by the water with lots of family and friends.  Saturday was a day of sand and water fun.  We took long boat rides (which Tyler loved by the way and I could do), skiied, tubed and wake boarded (which I couldn't do yet).  Saturday night we all got together for a BBQ and just hung out, watched Ryan open birthday gifts, told stories, laughed and ate a lot of great food.  Sunday was more water fun and then before we knew it, time was up and we had to pack up and head back home.  I thanked God many times for being healed enough to be able to go on this trip and have fun.  Here are a couple of the many pictures I took.  This first one is of Tyler and Ryan getting off the boat for a few minutes to play in the water.  Tyler loved it!

This next one I took on Saturday night.  Just happen to see some wild burros walking close to where we were staying at sunset.  It was so cool and I have to tell you the sunset that evening was gorgeous!  I'll share more pics throughout the week.

Now I am sure you are wondering what my exciting news is.  I am so thrilled to tell you that I am starting the process now of doing my book!  I am finally going to tell my story.  I have a dear friend of mine who I have known since High School who is a fantastic writer and has been doing it professionally for years.  Her name is Marga Cooley.  We will collaborate together but she will actually write the book.  She has all the knowledge and connections to get this done and done right.  I have such faith in her and her writing, she has a heart of gold and I am so very happy to be working with her.  The timing is right and I pray for God's blessings on the whole project.  I will keep you posted on how the process is going.  I would be so appreciative if you could keep this project in your prayers too.  My main goal is to make sure that God's glory will shine through my story.

Prayer requests:  Comfort for my friend Michelle and her family on the loss of her father.  For her family to have strength and peace.  Also for a dear friend of mine's grandma who is going to be having surgery tomorrow.  Pray for all to go smooth and for a speedy recovery.  For a friend who is having some medical tests done today.

Genesis 8, verses1 - 5:  God didn't forget about Noah and all the animals in the boat!  He sent a wind to blow across the waters, and the floods began to disappear, for the subterranean water sources ceased their gushing, and the torrential rains subsided.  So the flood gradually receded until, 150 days after it began, the boat came to a rest upon the mountains of Ararat.  Three months later, as the waters continued to go down, other mountain peaks appeared.  To be continued....
