UPDATE:  My blood levels are still low.  They have shown some improvement but not enough for them to let me back to work yet.  I will have another test run next Thursday.  Please pray they will be in range by next week.  I can't tell you how badly I am ready to return to work and have a normal routine again.  God is in control.  I trust what He has in store for me.  That last round of chemo really did a number on my body.

                      GOD IS THE GOD OF MIRACLES!!!!!!!

Good Morning!!!!  I am one thankful, happy, relieved girl.  Wow.......what a last couple of days we all had.  I believe in miracles and I got my miracle yesterday!  I cried tears of joy when I got the good report from my neurosurgeon.  Mike and I will never look at a preliminary report again.  We will wait from now on till my Dr. sees it.  I have definitely been "Happy Dancing" everywhere!  The major joy and relief I felt was overwhelming yesterday.

I just cannot express how much I want to thank all of you and also how much I love all of you  for keeping me and my family lifted in prayer.  There was a chorus of prayers going up to our precious God and He heard all of those prayers and answered them.  I can't begin to tell you all of the people who I didn't even know that were lifting me up in prayer.  Groups from all over the U.S. were praying.  Mens and womens groups on their knees praying for me.  I am crying happy tears right now as I write this because I am so overhwelmed by your faithfullness and generosity.  I just pray that you all know someday how much this has all truly meant to me and my family.

Today I go up to the hospital to get my blood work done and see how all of my levels look.  We pray they have really gone up.  I will come back on later and give you an update on that.

I have a another small prayer request.....Jenna and Jeff are both sick.  Came down with it at about the same time. (Tuesday night)  Both nasty sore throats and generally feeling bad.  I am staying far away from them both.  Will you just pray that not only they feel better soon but that I won't come down with it?

Thank you to our Pastor and his wife for everything.  Debbie, the gift was perfect and Ed, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to come out and pray with me.  Thank you to everyone who called Mike and I on Tuesday, and gave us a pep talk and then prayed with us.  I know that is how we made it through that day.  Thank you First Christian Church for all of the prayers and love and continuous support.  Jessica and Michelle (church secretaries and friends)  you are awesome!!

Lets bombard God with prayers of thanks today.  Mike and I will also bombard Him with thanks for all of you.

UPDATE:  Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow!  God blessed us with a miracle today!  The doctor believes the tumor is just an old tumor that they have already treated and told Leslie to have another MRI done in three months.  Mike and Leslie are on their way back home with a big smile on Leslie's face!  Thank you God for answering our prayers!  Thank you everyone for your faithful prayers.  God is indeed good!

The blog has been down this morning so Leslie did not get a chance to update it before her and Mike left to San Diego, by the way, this is Monica.  Leslie is in good spirits and is praying for a miracle this morning!  Please continue to pray with us that it is good news and give a peace to both Leslie and Mike.  I will go back on and update as soon as we get done with the doctor's appointment.  Thank you for praying! 

God is good! 

Good morning!  Well believe it or not I slept pretty well last night.  Let me tell you a little bit on how my afternoon went yesterday.  I was happy go lucky piddling around the house and about 3:45 Mike unexpectedly showed up with the brain scan results.  I took one look at him as he walked through the door and I asked "what's wrong?'  The look told me all I needed to know.  I collapsed on the ground crying and yelling at him "don't tell me that......don't tell me that."    He and Jeff are holding me tight.   I asked "What does the report say?"  He told me and I am not believing it.  The new site of where the Dr. here sees a tumor  is very tiny.  So after I stopped crying, I started to wrap my mind around the whole situation.  I am praying for a miracle when I go and see Dr. Ott my neurosurgeon tomorrow.  I pray that it is gone. 

God reminded me of how strong I was and how He has never left me before and would get me through this now.  I was also reminded of the many family and friends who have been my prayer warriors and cheerleaders from day 1.  You have all kept me encouraged and strengthened and I have felt such tremendous love.  I know God is hearing the prayers from hundreds on my behalf.  Thank you.  I feel stronger today and hopeful for tomorrow.

What ever happens I have a lot to live for and if I have to put in another fight I will.  Do I want to do any of this again?  NO WAY! 

God provides miracles daily and I will pray for one.  Thank you all again for your support.  Mike and I couldn't make it without you.  Will let you know what happened after my appointment tomorrow.  Love you much!

Today is another gift and God is so Good!

MONDAY NIGHT UPDATE:  PRELIMINARY REPORTS ARE SHOWING THAT LESLIE MIGHT HAVE A NEW BRAIN TUMOR.  HER APPOINTMENT WITH THE NEUROSURGEON HAS BEEN MOVED TO THIS WEDNESDAY AT 1:00.  WE ARE PRAYING FOR A MIRACLE. THAT IT IS NOTHING AND THAT LESLIE IS OKAY. WE ARE HANGING IN THERE.  WE ALSO KNOW GOD IS IN CONTROL.  PLEASE JOIN US IN PRAYER FOR LESLIE IN THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY AND FOR HER STRENGTH.  I WILL UPDATE YOU AS SOON AS I CAN AFTER HER APPOINTMENT ON WEDNESDAY.  THANKS. UPDATE:  I am done already!  Had the MRI at about 9:00 this morning.  Everything went smooth and time passed by fast while I was in the machine.  I just prayed the whole time.  Thank you for praying for me.  I felt tremendous peace.  God is Good!

Good morning!!  How was you weekend?  I had a great weekend with with my sister Monica, Jenna and my sister-in-law Noni.  We took care of a lot of planning for Monica's wedding and I think she is pretty much done now.  It is a fall themed wedding with lots of rich beautiful fall colors.  It is going to be stunning!

My beautiful niece Kayla came down for a visit and she is turning into a professional photographer.  She took some gorgeous pregnancy pics of Jenna.  I hope to be able to share a few here when we get them from her.  It was so much fun visiting with Kayla and my beautiful niece Kayanna.  We girls just hung out and laughed and had the best time.

It is so nice to be feeling much better now and to be able to enjoy things with my family again!  I am doing a little better and getting a little more sronger everyday.  Thank you for the prayers and thank you God for blessing my life so much!

Today is the MRI brain scan.  I am not sure what time this morning because they are squeezing me in.  I will give an update later today.  Please pray that it all goes smooth and that we hear great results.  My appointment with my neurosurgeon in next Monday.  Also they have to access my port today because it is a brain MRI with contrast.

Most important today is could you  pray for my sweet friend Denise Rogers and the whole Rogers family for strength and comfort.  Her father-in-law died yesterday morning and she and her family are on their way to Texas this morning for the funeral which is on Wednesday.   We love you Rogers Family!

Ooooohhhhhh my San Diego Chargers lost yesterday.  It was a close game.  I was bummed.  We host the Miami Dolphins this Sunday.  Go Chargers!!!
