Good morning!!!  Hope your weekend is starting out to be a good one!  I am doing pretty good.  Yesterday I told Mike it was time for me to get out of the house for a while.  Being stuck in the house for a month is a loooooong time.  So he took me to the mall so I could walk around and get some exercise and maybe find something cute for my grandson Tyler.

Well It was great running into my friend Diane Ming!  She is another faithful prayer warrior.  Anyways....I shared something with her that I thought I should share with you all too.  We were talking about prayers and I told her that there were some days when I was going through this illness that I was so grateful that so many people were lifting me up in prayer because I couldn't pray for myself.  I was so sick and tired and weak and I would just ask God to help me.  Then I had a real peace in my heart knowing that you were praying....... praying when I just couldn't.  Thank you Diane for being another  prayer warrior in my life.  You really touched my heart yesterday.  So good seeing you!

And oh by the way.......yes I found a little cute something for my Tyler.  It also felt great getting out and walking like that!

Well I am off to Jenna's in a little while and my sister will be down in a little bit.  We will get together with my sister-in-law Noni and plan some wedding fun.  I hope you all have a fantabulous weekend.  I won't be blogging again until Monday.  Today is another gift and God is so Good!!!

Good morning!!  It is Friday!!  My strength continues to improve!  I am feeling pretty good and am up most of the day now.  I have even been able to start cooking again which I have missed so much.  I have been doing some chores around the house and even a little bit of walking outside when it is cool.  I started my white cell booster shots yesterday.  Please continue to pray that the levels rise and that by Thursday of next week  they will be back into range.  Also.......please keep me in prayer over the MRI brain scan that I am having on Monday.  The reflux problem is improving at a slow rate but it is getting better.

What do you have planned for the weekend?  My sister Monica is coming down and she, Jenna, Noni and I are going to finalize the plans to her wedding.  It has been so much fun helping her plan it.  I will be sure to take lots of pics.  It is going to be beautiful!

I want to thank my sweet Aunt Maryann for the best gift I could receive.  She sent me a real treasure that belonged to my Grandmother and it came with this verse:  "For I know the PLANS I have for you," says the Lord.  "Plans for GOOD and not for evil, to give you a FUTURE and a HOPE."  Jeremiah 29:11.  Along with my Aunt Maryann, my grandmother was a true prayer warrior too.  Thank you so very much!  It means so much to me to have it.  Love you!

What are your favorite type of movies??  Comedy....Romance....Action.....Horror???  Mine would have to be between comedy and romance.  I love a good action movie every once in a while but you will never see me at a scary or really suspenseful movie.  Don't like them at all.

Good morning!!!  How is everyone today?  I am doing better and better. Getting stronger and stronger.   In case you didn't see my update in yesterdays post I went and had my blood drawn and everything in my levels are looking good except my white cell count.  The Dr. won't release me back to work until those levels are up.  So I am starting  10 days of white cell booster shots again.  That should improve them a lot.  I am asking for prayer that they will rise quickly.  I will have my blood drawn again next Thursday and see how they look.  Thanks Kori W. for all the info.  I am looking into that.

I also wanted to let you all know that I have a MRI brain scan on Monday.  Yes it is that time again.  I get them every three months.  I can't believe that it is time to do one again.  I feel good about it though.  Could use your prayers for great results!  I won't do another full body PET scan until the end of November.

I am so very grateful to you all for praying so much and for God's answered prayer.  My family is going to have one busy and fun next three months and I am so happy to be getting stronger so I can enjoy them too.  Lots of baby showers, the baby coming, wedding showers, my sisters wedding, a good friends wedding, holidays, Jenna's B-Day, my Dad's 70th B-day etc.....Also my family has had planned for so long but we had to postpone it for a while,  a party for me to celebrate me being "cancer free".  Looks like we might finally get to do that next week.  I appreciate your continued prayers.  I can't tell you how much I look forward to doing  things that have nothing to do with Drs. or medical.

What is your favorite holiday??  Do you decorate for the holidays??  Mine is Christmas and my house is covered from top to bottom in Christmas fun!!  Absolutely love the holidays.

1:00 UPDATE:  I had my blood drawn this morning.  Everything is looking much better but the white cell count is still low.  I have to have it up more before I can return to work.  We are checking with my Dr. about starting some white cell booster shots again.  Please pray that my white cell count starts to get better very soon.  I am feeling so much better and stronger everyday and I am so ready to get back to work.  Trust me.......I will take it easy but I have been home for such a long time and I am ready for a regular routine again.  God is in control.  Thanks for praying!

Good morning!!!  First off I want to show you a couple of pictures.  This is Jenna at 33 weeks.  She is doing great and feeling great.  He is an active little one.  Did I tell you yet that his name is going to be Tyler Michael Middleton.  I love this little guy so much and I can tell he loves his Nanie because he always moves for me when I am with Jenna.  I talk to her tummy all the time.  Ryan and I will both be with Jenna when she delivers the baby.  So excited!!

This is a picture of my sister Monica and her hubby to be Gregg.  This is taken in Michigan where Gregg is from.  Monica is planning a stunningly beautiful fall wedding to take place on November 14th.  So looking forward to that too.

I am doing so much better.  I have had no fever for a couple of days now.  My strength and energy are getting a little better each day.  I really feel like this time I am on the mend.  I think I will be going in today to get my blood drawn to see how my levels look.  Please pray that they are at normal levels now.  Thanks for your continuous prayers for everything.

If money was not an object, where would you travel to if you had a month to stay there?  I would be all over Europe.

Good morning!!  Guess what??  I haven't had a fever now for 40 hours!!!  I think I am finally done with that Lord willing.  We will see how today goes.  I went to the gastroenterologist yesterday and I am on the right course with my meds and have gotten a little better already and will continue too.  I will be on the meds for a long time and will eventually wean myself from them as the reflux gets better.  The best thing he told me yesterday was that I can eat what ever I want again.  Yippee!!!  I won't go over board but I will introduce stuff back into my system slowly and see how I do.  A big thank you again to Christina Santos for all of your help with this!

I feel like a new person now.  Between getting the blood transfusion and the right meds for the reflux I am doing sooooooooo much better.  I was up all day yesterday and didn't go to bed once.  That was a great feeling.  Some of my old spunk is coming back.  We just really need to pray that my levels will go up lots.  I am so ready to be back to work.  It shouldn't be much longer.  Just got to get that white cell count up first and my strength.

Even though my San Diego Chargers played horrible last night they did win the game!!!  Yahoo!!  No matter how bad it was I will take a win over the Oakland Raiders any day.  We have now defeated them 12 times in a row.......but whose counting???  hee hee  Carla Paramo........I will be happy to have a Johnny's tea when I get back to work. :)  Both games last night were nail biters until the end.

Susy Davila........Putting a blood donation in my name is just a way for me to give back.  They won't hold it especially for me.  It is purely a donation.  So far I have 4 people donating blood for me.  I took two units and now am able to give back 4 so far through my friends!  Thank you all so much!  What a super thing to do!

Tomorrow I will post a new picture of Jenna.  She is growing......and looks beautiful!
